About Interior Living Room Night
I always wanted to have a sleeper chair for my living room because I don't have any guest room in my home. I like to invite my friends over for dinner or for watching movie or late night chitchat over a cup hot coffee. But the problem occurred once my friend's car broke down and she had to stay in my house for the night. I was not prepared at all but we managed it somehow. But that day I realized the value of a sleeper chair and brought one home.
Sleeper chair is convenient for me because my living room is too small and I can't have any heavy furniture in that room but by having sleeper chair I can manage my space problem and accommodate my friends at the same time. Now I can say that I also have a magic guest room that can be seen only when I move my magic wand. So here I will tell you my magic secrets so you can also create a guest room with magic.
If your room is small and you have other seating arrangements already, then get one sleeper chair only and put that in a corner. If you want to replace your existing sofa with a new one then must get a twin chair or loveseat, it accommodates two persons. Always keep a separator screen in your house; this will help you to make a guest room. Instead of having side tables, hang shelves on the wall at the level of your sleeper chair. Put a large mirror on a wall of the living room for convenience. Keep one or two drawers of your living room's cabinet empty, if possible put one hair brush tooth brush and a tooth paste inside the drawer so you would not have to worry at that moment.
Now you are ready to receive your guests, when they arrive entertain them nicely, you just need few minutes to turn your living room into a guest room.
Clear all the stuff which is unnecessary for a guest room, like centre table or a planter, or put them on a side.
Convert the chair into a bed.
Place the screen on the open side of the room for privacy.
Remove the decorative item from the side shelf and put a glass and water bottle on it and a magazine on the other side.
If you have a night bulb in your living room, turn it on, if not then leave the porch light on for the night.
Your guests will be amazed to see your effort for them.
Are you expecting guests in your house that will stay for a night? Do you often have visitors at your home for sleep over? Attending the guests and entertaining them is not a difficult job in fact it is very positive and socially a healthy activity because the guests bring a pleasant change in our daily routine life. If you don't have a separate guestroom to accommodate your guests, don't worry and use your living room as a guest room.
Now the question is how to turn your living space into a cozy and comfortable guest room for a night. If you have a comfort sleeper in your living room, then you don not have to worry at all, if not, then get one. Comfort sleepers are the best option for any home that does not have a guest room. Even if you have a comfort sleeper in your living room, you should set the room in a way that your sofa can be converted into a bed in a short time, because at times some guests come on a short notice and you don't have enough time to do the arrangements. So it is better to have your sitting room set nicely but with less furniture. It doesn't mean that you keep your living room empty but if you don't have a guest room then avoid stuffing your living room with unnecessary items like huge racks and lots of decoration pieces but, decorate your living room with nice wall hangings. Instead of having a huge rack, keep a sleek Chester, having some drawers, in your living room. Spare one or two drawers for the guests and put wash room accessories in them like a towel, packed tooth paste and even a packed tooth brush. Keep a separation screen if your sitting room is open. Do not place a heavy table against the sofa as it would be difficult to move it from its place.
