AR.Pro 3 for Parrot Drones

Let me start by saying I'm new to drones. Santa left a Bebop 2 under our tree for me. I'm learning how to control and fly the drone before I even consider follow me and or the map mode. After the last update to FFP, I lost what little faith I had with it and started looking for something else to use with my Bebop 2. I found AR.Pro 3 and purchased it (first time I bought anything from Play Store). Today I used it for the first time. WOW! What a difference between FFP and AR.Pro. I use a Samsung tab S2 on android 7 as my controller. I love the camera control and the joysticks not moving all over the screen. I love that I was able to download the user manual before I purchased the software. A newbie to drones would be better off with AR.Pro than FFP. I will uninstall FFP and use AR.Pro only. To the developer, thanks.????

At first I had issues with android picking a default app for my sky controller 2, Shell M. Shrader helped me solve my problem the same day. Great app, better developers. Not once have I regretted paying for this app. Tons of included features. The app also let's you use custom controllers and recognizes PS3 controllers... If you have root control over your device you can create the perfect mobile "short-range" controller for vacation and travel via Bluetooth PlayStation controller and your device. Enjoy

Used the app today for my first flight plan, kept it short but the app performed perfect. Can't wait to do longer plans. Thanks

I haven't been able to connect with my Bebop 1 what's the problem???

Bought the app after a little problem which was sorted very quickly did the the help of shell m Shrader the app now works perfect

For anyone experiencing a fall out of the sky - this is caused by Firmware 4.3.x and 4.4.x and is happening in FreeFlight Pro as well. Parrot need to fix it, but it's not the fault of AR.Pro!

Had problems connecting my phone to the app. Turns out my android phone has a bad USB port. Used app a few times and like it so far.

Thank you so much for the update to Android 7.I have already given it 4 ⭐. As soon as I have tested it I will most likely give it 5 ⭐.

Does the latest update now work on Nougat? If it does my rating goes back to 5 like when I was still on Marshmallow.

I have only my Bebop 2 only for about 3 weeks now. And after having another drone Q500, Parrot Customer services is top notch! And this app I'm use to it each time I fly,. But thanks to Shelly and answering my questions with quick response. But I have been waiting for you to live up to your promise for imperial version over a year. And yes I expect that for my money, to answer your question.

Twice now your app has caused the my bebop2 to cut the engines and drop to the ground, on its own. I did not touch the emergency button either time, both times were mid flight. Both times broke the central cross. This damn thing is $55 each break and twice now the sole reason was your damn app. Just now was mid flight approx 40 feet in air, was in the middle of a left turn when bam falls to the ground and destroys the central cross. I am so mad, I literally last night just swapped the new central cross from the previous app fault. Was less than 5 min into flight when your damn app did it again. This is unbelievable and I demand you make it right. I ate the cost of the last central cross but I demand that you replace this one. I also want a refund of this app. I am a software developer as well and know what it's like to cause others damages due to a software defect. And as a developer, when something I build does malfunction and cause damages I feel great responsibility for that. Make this right, sir. Awesome. I havn't tried others but this is as technical as I might develop to use or just simple also. But.. I can't find the pics I took on my note 5. How do I make the pics go into a folder in "gallery"? Would also be nice to have a button for picture taking on main screen.

Like many users of this app, its awesome, but recently while giving a demo to some friends I suffered several (5) app crashes and the cardboard feature was not responding whatsoever. There also was a sudden pull to the right I did not command which scared the heck out of me. The Bbop 2 was high enough so it didn't collide into anything. Would give it a 5 star rating so please help me regain all the confidence this app truly deserves. Thanks DMC, Using Moga Hero Power, Samsung S5.

App keeps crashing after about a minute of flight time, tried uninstalling and reinstalling I have even reset my Bebop. Would like a refund but sure that will never happen, would not recommend this app to anyone unfortunately. Should have purchased Free flight pro waypoint map instead. Very disappointed.

Haven't been able to use once. Every time the Drone connects the app freezes and crashes. Contacted developer, said there is a known bug in the version of Android I'm using. I would like a refund.

It's an awesome app overall, but it lacks support for my controller. The controller will work about 50 percent of the time and even when it does, it is very inconsistent and laggy with lots of delay. I am using a Gamesir wired controller. I will give the app 5 star as soon as this is fixed. Thanks!

When first purchased app was amazing. Now app crashes a few mins after take off, bebop will continue last command, only way to get control back is force stop and reconnect, hopefully before drone is out of reach. Have lost 1 drone already, thankfully Parrot replaced at no cost. Have email several times, but never get a response. If your looking to lose or crash your drone this apps is the one to do it????????????

I like it but with the track me mode, should the drone follow me or just look at me? If follow, how do I get it you do that? I use an htc m8 with android 6 on bebop 2. Also, can you add orbit mode?

Hi Shell, Thank you for the amazing program for my Bebop 1, works just perfect with my old android 4.3 GSM. BUT with my new Motorola moto G4 plus (android 7) it crashes after one or two minutes. Other people has pointed out the same problem so I believe it is clearly an android version problem. I hope you will be solving this problem with your next version.

Worked great when first purchased last year. In summer started hanginging, loss of flight control and sudden uncontrolled flight. Been waiting hoping there would be a fix but nothing. Don't purchase!!!!!

App keeps crashing during flight. Never had an issue before. It caused my drone to crash into water. An $8 app ruined a $500 drone. Thanks...

want to use a controller without rooting or even purchasing a sky controller. look no further. read the faq in the Manuel for many "issues" as read below.if you want basic controls stick to freeflight pro and apple. want to 'unlock' your drone w/ android. here ya go

Hi Shell, I've went for some flights with bebop 2 using your app ar pro 3. There are 2 issue I encountered. 1) Track me are way out. Once click on 'track me' mode, the drone will move near to me causing out of view or even right above me. Which obviously I'm out of 'sight' too. 2) RTH function not working. Half half chance for it to work. When it doens't, the drone will stay in the air till low battery and drop! Mere foot away from water disaster... Is there patch or or something for the software? Thanks

Does not work. No refunds. Drone connects to phone but never connected to app. Tried connecting a dozen times. Drone info never came up on app. When I tried to summit a refund the service was not available.

App keeps crashing mid flight. Have to wait for my drones battery to die and for it to auto land. I loved this app please fix!!!

Thanks Shell for not bothering to email me back as promised but thanks for the email telling me track me is way off and not reliable. If I knew this before I bought it I would have stayed well away from this app. Track me doesn't work, couldn't turn it off, had no control of drone which hit a tree. I should sue you for damage to 2 rotors! Anyway, keep up the good work and don't forget to let potential buyers know that track me doesn't work. People, spend that extra money and buy follow me from Free flight pro...works every time!

App will freeze constantly and the drone will remain the the last state it was at. Unreliable at best and i had tried multiple times. Please fix or refund. Have to manually catch or crash the drone to get it to stop. Gs7

The first time I used this app. It worked for about a minute or two, crashed, then when I was able to regain control of the drone it lost connection and went straight into a tree. Return home didn't work, and I can't find a button for trackme.

Total rubbish, works for about a minute then crashes caused bebop to crash and break prop would like to request a refund should allow a trial prior to buying

This app crashed mid flight on my bebop ,flew off into an oak tree Mott. I hadn't had it but a week. I think you owe me a drone. Rubbish.

Just got new drone... Used other ap and its OK..downloaded this app but there is so much settings it confused me a little...can I fly drone in standered settings or is there settings recommend that I can use...so scared the thing flies away or crashes to bits....using bebop v1....

I bought this app for my bebop drone but every one minute it crashes and close the application, i need my money back

I had no control after 30 seconds and ended cutting my finger pretty bad having to turn off manually while in hover as the was no response. Galaxy s7 edge.

I'm so pissed and very disappointed and this app I was flying fpv all of a sudden disconnect and the sad part about it I was only 200 meters I sat there and waited for my drone to come back and never came back 699 down the drain so I would love to have my money back and f*** your app

Stay away from this app, literally made me lose my drone after locking the controls mid flight.. TERRIBLE APP. Dont risk your drone!!! Or lose £££

Freeze on my s7 edge nougat. And it will follow the last command. Exam if u r going forward, it will keep going until it's battery run out. Luckily for me it was hovering outside. Other day in indoor hit the wall.

I bought it. It locks up after 1 minute on my s7 running Android 7 EVERY TIME. I and others mentioned this in support forum for it and have been completely ignored. This appears to be abandoned. It should be pulled from the play store if the developer has disappeared and it doesn't run on the current OS. nearly lost my Bebop with the app

Can i get a refund please? App keeps crashing mid flight and i cant reconnect with drone as i have to do a hard restart with my phone. Have to then wait til the battery runs low so that the drone comes back down!

I just got this app today and I'm new to the drone world but every time I try to open this app it just stays on the first screen and if I try to go into any other screens it just switches straight back to the first screen

Have an S6 and downloaded the app. Will not orient properly on the phone and image is upside-down p goggles. Email to Shell's website not working either. Smh
