Global Go

No Chromecast support (even the CBC has that), now latest update freezes my tablet. Really bad app now. Have uninstalled it and will not reinstall it until it is updated to work correctly and has Chromecast support. Get your act together Global

My device has Ethernet capabilities and would love to be able to watch that way, but the app doesn't recognize it is connected. Other apps do. Any chance of supporting Ethernet not just WiFi or cell data? Update: Now with the update, when I try to watch live I get "An error has occurred please try again later." Hopefully another update will come soon so I can watch live again....updated to say, won't stream at all even when connected to Wi-Fi. I hope it gets fixed.

No Chromecast. Ads pop up at inappropriate times and it is always the same one over and over again. Come on Shaw. Get it together or stop diversifying. Develop high quality products and services instead.

Keeps on saying loading error no data when there actually is. This was my 2nd time DL'ing it....both times same issue. What the f$!# was I thinking??

Season 3 of Rookie Blue is not uploaded to your system and neither is part of season 2 . I would like to get to finish watching past episode via my Cogeco Sign in please

This app is used to be good ..since ever recent update I can no longer each any of my shows.. bc every single time I try to load a show to watch a message pops up Ns says global app has stopped working !!! The last show I was able to watch was the y and r.. and that was a month ago. I've missed so many Chicago fire and PD shows bc of the app not working correctly.

All the ads are driving me crazy. This app on my iPhone work great, but on my Android there are much longer commercials and there's no way to skip the really long ones like there was with my iPhone Global Go app. Plus you could skip ahead 30 seconds or back 10 seconds really easily during your show. This Android version is not so easily navigable. Thumbs down for this version.

Nearly every time I try to use this app is crashes. Sometimes I have to take the battery out of my phone to get out of the screen saying that it failed and if I want to report it. And chrome cast would be nice. Do you ever even read reviews or do you just not care whether the app is working or not??? I should add that I DO pay for satellite TV and I sign in through my provider so it isn't as if I am expecting this for free....

This is one of the worst apps ever. It constantly crashes. Wont let you cast using chromecast and is unable to load on Apple TV. I am signed in using my cable provider and expect better. Awful. Just awful.

The app does not work properly anymore. Crashes constantly and now it won't even start a show. I've sent back numerous feedback about these issues and no response or updates etc have been done. Terrible service.

No casting capability, that alone puts you at 1 star. The actual use of the app is very poor, crashing, stuttering and just doesn't want to load sometimes. CTV Go app works like a charm, get some advice from them!

I don't know why there are so many negative reviews. I have an S7 and I've never had a problem with this app. I've never had any loading issues, it's never crashed, the ads aren't that long to watch through, they aren't agonisingly long at all. I love this app and watch my shows every night using it. Thank you

Other TV stations don't seem to have the problem that Global has. This app decides when it wants to load a show and when it doesn't. You waste a lot of time watching the damn loading circle go round and round

Update your app with new broadcasts consistently! So frustrating to open the app to find that new episodes have not been added. They are available on your website but not on the app. Unfortunately one cannot watch from your website on a tablet or phone. Annoying

Ad volume is much louder than the show. The CRTC mandates that broadcasters and television service​ providers (including IPTV providers) must ensure that ad volumes are similar to the volume of the program. Also, Chromecast support would great!

Most of the time I have no problem, sometimes I do. Right now I'm having trouble signing in to my TV provider but that could be a Rogers issue rather than the app. Overall, ok I guess.

This ap is great when it works. So many times after I load the series I want to watch it says 'global go has stopped working" and then it reloads and my shows are no longer there. Not even just locked....not there at all! Also don't get why you need to lock out previous shows, it's not client friendly at all

Used to love this app but I can't seem to get it to work on my new phone. Keeps giving me a protection error. Husband has no problem on his phone. Very frustrating.

It used to be good till the recent update where the app loads the shows whenever it feels like it while you are watching. It doesn't stop and allow you to watch your show unless you leave the show and sometimes shut down the app to reload the show and app. I've missed so many global tv shows it's ridiculous!! I go to school and work so I cannot watch the shows on tv at their prescribed time. I can only watch them when I have free time which does not coordinate with their initial airdate. Fix the app!!

THERES TOO MANY FKN ADS IN A 30 MINUTE SHOW. THEY PLAY IN THE MIDDLE OF A SCENE, NOT AT THE END, WHICH IS SO ANNOYING BECAUSE IT RUINS THE SHOW AND MAKES YOU NOT WANNA WATCH ANYMORE. THERE'S AN AD EVERY 3 MINUTES AND IT'S VERY FRUSTRATING. I SEE MORE ADS THAN SHOW AND THAT'S FKN ANNOYING.

Have been watching all along now you have to sign in with one of the ripoff cable providers. If that's the way it's going work goodbye global. Just another Canadian ripoff

Live TV no longer works, pops up error unable to load video try again. I am successfully logged in and I reside in Canada. I tried logging out and back on, also tried closing app and turning it back on and it still wont work. Live tv is the only feature I occasionally used in this app (to watch Live news at 6:30 EST). This App is now useless to me since I have no interest in the recorded tv programs.

... If you really want to watch television on a phone. I'm stunned this still isn't available for Android TV. Locking on to only cable subscribers seems to miss the point, but I guess that's why online streaming boxes have gotten so popular.

Just downloaded the app to use on my LG G3 phone. It seems to play fine on my phone but when I use Miracast I get the sound and peripheral stuff from my phone but no video image. Have no problem playing Rogers Anyplace TV but this app is frustrating when I use Miracast . It great that I can listen to the video.... but kinda defeats the purpose thst of watching on my TV from my phone by Miracast...

The ads are WAY to loud. The volume sounds like it triples from the show to some of the advertisements. I would also recommend leaving an entire season worth of shows up. I binge watch everything and can't do that starting at episode 7 of a show... or if the show only allows one episode at a time. I just end up not watching it at all.

This app does not support my android device, while CTV go is flawless. I suggest that the developer of global go just adapt the CTV go format.

Everytime I try to watch anything on my mobile device it seems like i have to uninstall and reinstall for it to work. It always says the app has stopped working and then my phone is completely frozen I cant exit the app or restart my phone or even turn it off I have to remove the battery and the online never works on mobile which is understandable. I will be forced to unstall permanently if it continues to not work!!
