This app allows me to easily track prices for groceries. I can easily and quickly determine what is a good price.

I have to knock one star off for clunkiness. I did not find it intuitive or ready to get started. Another star off for no cloud support. I can't use it across devices. And I've pumped a LOT of data into the app that I'd hate to have to do all over again. All that said, I use it daily.

This is a lovely app for the smart shopper. Makes keeping track of the best places to shop very easy. Would be nice if it had a way to import/export the data to an xls or csv file. Also, a few additional fields like "Notes", "Brand" or a flag for "only under offer", etc

I really wish I could give this a -1 star. NOT because the apps sucks, it is actually a pretty good app, but the app doesn't backup to the cloud and support is non existent. I have emailed them several times and have yet to hear a response back. They have had plenty of time, it has been well over a month. I guess you don't care about me, I wont care about you.

Does the job

It works well, but feels a little unfinished. One thing I really want to see is the ability to export/import the database. Also, a web version would be great.

Being able to track multiple stores for the same item was essential for me. Would like to see a pay option to get rid of ads. Could use some design improvements. But overall effective for now.

Useful app.

You can log the items to keep track of unit prices but you're not allowed to define weight or amount per pack, in other words, minimum amount you can buy. For example $0.8/lb for flour is a clear info but one should also be allowed to write down it comes in 5 lb. pack and $4 has to be paid. Other than that, quite simple and easy to use app. UI can be improved to appeal users.

Need to be able to enter/edit date price was entered. Need to be able to enter items ACTUAL data (size, quantity, price, etc) then let the app calculate the unit price. The ability to link similar items to view in a list at once would be a bonus (for example: fresh green beans vs frozen vs canned). Without at least the edit date option, can't be used to its fullest.

Makes no sense to me. Can't even figure out how to make different lists!

This is a great app for helping me comparre 'apples to apples' (or, actually, ounce per ounce) for various products at different stores and sometimes in different size packages. I feel duped for not realizing earlier how much I could be saving on groceries with a little thought, and with the help of a price list like the one you can easily creat with this app. I'd give the app 5 stars if we could edit/delete Item names once entered and if we could print out our list. But I'll keep using it just the same. It's a big help! Thanks!

Let's me know the prices historically, and stays between roms

I've been looking for a price tracking app that is easy on the eyes and does what it sets out to do, which is allowing one to keep track of prices across grocery stores and over time spotting grocery trends to know when to stock up. So happy I found this app. It has a few improvements to make, but I love it already c:

Typing each item is tedious. I do love how it tracks the prices entered. I just wish it would scan bar codes. Maybe evan have a database it could link to with prices.

But made a mistake and can't delete. Would love that functionality!

2 stars for app quality, 1 star for on-going improvement, 1 star for developer response. All it needs is some polish and it'll be a 5 star app!

Android 4.3 crashes when adding items/lists and opening preferences. Galaxy note 2 on android 4.3

Needs a design update

Sharky Shopping is exactly what we've been looking for-does just what we need, without unnecessary pile-ons. WISH LIST; a desktop app (which we would happily buy,) or a way to import/export from desktop. This would make initial entry work while building your price book, much faster. Here's hoping... NOTE: Since the Don't Be Evil company now insists on broadcasting every sneeze we have these days, with location, etc., and forces reviewers to join Google+, this is likely the LAST review we will contribute on "Play".

It's easy to create items, and when you enter multiple prices, the app automatically calculates the best price, the worst price, and the midpoint price of what you've seen/paid. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for an easy to use price book app!

Very easy to use, simple layout and entry functions. A bit basic, hence the 4 stars. Requests for updates that would make it 5 stars: ability to sort by store and aisle, brand name field, and the ability to sync. I'm also having an issue with the price calculation on the list, only the per gram/ml price shows up even if I enter a quantity larger than 1. Keep up the good work!

This awesome FREE Price Book app tracks price information any product you wish to follow.
