About Mocking Pal (mockup/wireframe)

Mocking Pal is a mobile app that allows you to create mockups/wireframes of a website or an application. You can create wireframes on the run, share them with colleagues and get early feedback. It saves you a lot of time, so you can iterate even faster and try new concepts before committing to a design.

You can keep in touch on this G+ page: https://www.google.com/+SharkearMockingPal

Features:

* You can easily erase, move, send to back, bring to front and resize the stencils.

* Multiple pages within a project.

* Preview mode.

* You can add buttons to link pages, add animations between transition.

* Live Share your work, so people can see what you are building while you are building it. Just send them the link and they will be able to see it on any browser, mobile or desktop. YOU SHOULD USE THIS ONLY ON WI-FI. It is a internet data consumer.

* Export to PNG.

* Snap to guides makes it a lot easier to draw aligned elements.

* Full Undo/Redo capabilities so you can experiment at ease.

* You can create a bigger canvas than your device and pan it around using the Panning mode.

* D-PAD for fine control.

Happy wireframing!

The reviewers must be shills as this App is an interesting experiment but no value. Spent too much time trying to figure it out. I'm out.

Thank you. this is a really good mockup tool

Ok, so i want to create a list view, which uses an untold formatting technique, it wont create extra columns. Why not have a column/row editor. The rectangles dont have square edges, so the mockups look dodgy. It would be nice if components could be interactive, just to give a nice feel to demos. For some reason the undo button gets rid of the styler/text editor button, the menu that pops up when long press, its displayed in the wrong place, and the clicks are completely wrong. Have you used this app??? :/

Dragged icon onto canvas and it start saving images to desktop... Wtf

U70%
by U####:

I use it to rapidly throw ideas together. There is much room for extending: mobile device templates, widgets and icons, export functionality

U70%
by U####:

A nice simple app to jot down my design ideas wherever I am. Would be nice to have a snap-to-grid option but otherwise I'm looking forward to seeing how this evolves.

SHARKEAR: Nice, thank you. Unfortunately, I just bought a Mockup app for $3.00! I wish you were 24 hours quicker. But, I'm going to use yours any way (shhhh, don't tell my wife). ORIGINAL: Like another reviewer said, individual textbox contents are linked together and cannot be edited separately (unless you save, exit?, then reopen the project) [FIXED]. Bummer, because I like this one.

Works and looks great with lots of potential.

Thanks to the developer file adding the option to turn off the sketchy pencil effect. I like this app. I wasn't very favorable in my first review so I'm trying to fix it.

K70%
by K####:

Having and being able to create one's own multi-page components (like a truly interactive combo box) would be an awesome next step. The pie menu has an issue with screen bounds. This is a great little app thus far!

K70%
by K####:

Simple and very usable too. I'll give 5 stars if you add a table component. Can't do a complete mockup without it.

K70%
by K####:

I'm seeing the potential, its missing a few things but I'm keeping it on device to watch it bloom. Things I'd love to see, in my humble opinion. material design ui that is more neutral so I can focus on my design. snap to grid or dots, grid system overlay of 6 or 12 18 cols, golden section guides. Centralised canvas by default less hidden controls on tablet, and layers. I'd pay for this if it had all that. Keep up the awesomeness.

Menu with options to save, export or share do not display on my Sansung Note 3. Otherwise promising.

So far is the best app. Need more improvement in ui and controls

Best app ever

I love that there is an app for web/app design but there are a number of things that could be improved before I would use this regularly. First (this may be a bug) you can't see or edit the properties of an object if it moves outside the content area. Second, there needs to be the option to put in hex codes for colors. Third panning the image should be a two finger gesture.

Q70%
by Q####:

It's easy to use and well recommended

Q70%

Good starting app, but quickly building a UI started to turn into odd object placement on screen to access elements more than focusing on building a UI of what I needed.

The back button to undo is semi annoying and i would love more cloud support than box

Q70%

The app is great but the problem is image import which doesn't exist in app and also I couldn't find an image item in the toolbar so please add it. Thanks for the great app. Device: nexus 7.

X70%

Wonderful little app for getting ideas down when you find yourself without a pen or paper. Just mock it up on here and then fill it out back at the office

V70%
by V####:

I just wish I could import images! I draw on my Note2 and would love to have those sketches complement the mockups :)

I made one simple mockup and saved it, then made another and it crashed while saving. Re-opened app, tried to open first mockup and it crashed again. Second mockup is lost. A complete waste of time. Galaxy S4.

Q70%

Just make it to have more screens at the same time, no need to connect or animate for people who like simpler and minimalistic apps

M70%

Very nice work, still needs an easy save option by the way

M70%

Is it by design that every project has only one page or i'm missing something?

M70%
by M####:

Shows a lot of promise but in its current state very unstable. Specifically, I had several crashes triggered by selecting items on circular popup menu (which is great both in terms of function and visual appeal, well done). I used a stylus and when the touch on the circular menu was not detected properly (I guess I did not press the stylus firmly so it registered more like rapid tapping) application would crash (Nexus 7 2014).

Great app to put down some quick ideas one my galaxy note 2

This is one of the best free wireframing tool I've ever tried on my Android tablet. Easy and simple. Though I wish we have more icons and elements though. The limitation on the canvas size is a little annoying as well since I can't make a wireframe for long pages. But overall it's a very decent app. Keep up the good work!

U70%
by U####:

I was pleasantly surprised by this app. Great effort. In some waya even better than desktop application. It is hard to use on my galaxy 3 but it would be awesome on tablets. You can only do certain things on a 4'' screen. Not application fault. I am sure ppl will give it few stars jist because of that.

H70%
by H####:

It needs more options, like the ability to zoom in and out for refining. Also once I pan the page it's a hassle to align it to the center again, there should be an option to automatically center it where it was. There is a problem also when you select an item near the left border, the menu appears outside the screen, so I need to move the element, modify it and then try to place it again at the exact previous location. Of an object of near the left border, the modify menu should appear on the right.

This is great to get a simple idea out and onto something if you don't have some graph paper handy. One feature I'd love would be a lorum ipsum generator for text boxes. Edit: as of 1.5 we have that generator! Awesome :)

M70%
by M####:

Nice app except for the simulated hand drawn look. If I wanted my wireframes to look like they were done with a pencil I'll use an actual pencil. This kind of thing is a tired cliché. Make the look fit the tool used (electronic device) and this becomes an app worth paying for.

The app shows promise and I am glad that the developers are actively updating it with new features. Would love to contribute with some ideas, is there a forum for that?

Would like to find out how to delete pages and group pages of the same project.
