About TapControl Lite

***** TapControl Lite lets you try the full version of TapControl 100 times for free. *****

TapControl is here to change the way you listen to music. It allows you to play, pause, and skip to the next track without using your screen. Just tap the sides of your device to play and pause music, or the top and bottom to skip the current track. TapControl is not a music player: it runs in the background, giving you a new way to interact with your music.

Uses:
Works from your pocket, with the screen off.
Works while exercising - *won't randomly change your music*.
Control music playback without taking gloves off.
Works in the car - *skip songs while driving without looking down at your phone*.
Works with or without a phone case.
Most importantly, will impress your friends.

Features:
TapControl service turns off a set number of minutes after music playback stops.
Includes Homescreen Widget for convenient activation of TapControl.
Notification icon to let you know service is running in background.
Does not use a tremendous amount of battery.
Works with any music player you currently use.

Due to the constant use of device's accelerometer, results my vary on older devices. This is the first version of TapControl, so I kindly kindly welcome feedback. If you do not get the tapping down right the first couple tries, don't be discouraged, it often takes a couple minutes due to the many different interpretations of "tapping".

Compatible with all music players, including Google Play Music, Pandora, Spotify, Poweramp, doubleTwist, etc.

Simply tap to control music!

Enjoy!

Cant seem to get it to work? :/ love the idea but

The only thing this app does is hurt your fingers, knuckles and hand trying to get it to work.

F70%
by F####:

Out of an estimated 50 hits (give or take) it switched once. Vs rooting and rommimg, this idea is awesome, but not functioning for me. Right to hit it 50 times for 1 next/pause.

Doesn't work.

X70%
by X####:

Shame as I thought this was a good idea. I enable high sensitivity and it still only picked up my knock on the side of the phone once. I now have a sore knuckle cause if it.

X70%
by X####:

Sucky!! More work to use than bypassing the lockscreen. Doesn't work well if you have a case and even when off not reliable or user friendly. Probably would cause more damabfe from rapping all over!

Where do you study your computer science at? U may need a new teacher...or a brain.

I really want this to work. For me it isn't consistent enough. I've tried all the settings my phone is a note 3 running lollipop if that helps. I will buy if you get this working.

I find the app useful and kinda fun, but it isn't responsive all the time. It is very useful while running though and has never messed up.

Easy to use, does what it says. Make sure to tap the SIDE of your device, not the screen, and the app works great. Simple to use even when you can't look at your phone.

V70%
by V####:

Only seems to work once out of every 10 taps

I really wanted this to work, but unfortunantly it did not. It says to tap the sides of the phone to play/pause/change track, but it would not. I even went as far as threw my phone onto the floor. Even that force did not get it to respond. Great idea in theory.

I like the concept of this app. It's just not responsive. Why not just tap the left side of the screen so that it's more responsive? It's called TapControl after all... That's my opinion anyways
