Oahu Hawaii GPS Driving Tour

Amazing app. What a great use of technology. Worth every penny. You will save a ton on money of you rent a car and use this app and you will see alot of the island. We did the circle and the south tours. Directions were easy and clear. The only thing that could help is if there were music playing the whole time to fill in the blank space. Overall this is the best app I have ever paid for. THANKS Shaka guide!!!

If you are renting a car in Oahu do yourself a favor and GET THIS APP, easily the best money I spent on my vacation, I wish I found this sooner

This was a very informative and fun tour. We took the circle tour and took our time. We spent the whole day taking the trip. We stopped at most of the stops and I know that with out this guide we would have not seen a lot of what we saw on the island. Thanks Shaka, definitely will be buying your tours again!

Much better than sitting in a tour bus and having to stop at places you don't want to see. The audio occasionally would glitch and go silent for a while in the middle of a sentence then suddenly start again. Still a really good app and I will use it again soon.

Used the circle island tour today and had a great day. Spent about 5 and a half hours circling the island. Also used the Maui version last week for Mt. Haleakala and the Road to Hana. All 3 were great.

We took the island tour and it was great! One stop was so remote and looked down on the bay we had swam at on previous trips. Take any side trips the guide suggest for great must see places!!!

Worth every penny I paid for it. Clear and accurate directions, informative and entertaining commentary and mood setting Hawaiian music. Listening to this app in a rental car and going at your own pace without the crowd and tight schedule of group tours is a much more enjoyable and economical way to see the island. The app brought us to places we never would have found if we'd been exploring on our own. Many thanks!

So being told well done every time we turned was a little silly, but the hidden gems we found were well work the $8 we paid for both oahu driving tours.

This was a fantastic way to see Hawaii. With a friendly narrator and all the best sights and stories, it felt like we were shown around Oahu by a local we'd known forever.

Took us to a lot of places we wouldn't have gone to otherwise. Can't beat the price! I could have gone without the cheesy jokes and sound effects though....

I used both tours to explore Oahu. The driving directions were very accurate and gave enough advanced warning of turning etc. The tours had a mix of tourist and off the beaten track sights, which I wouldn't have found without the app. I used the offline version which worked great.

We had a great time driving from Waikiki around the island. The app worked great, playing prerecorded tour info at specific points along the drive. We didn't have any trouble with it, and really enjoyed the information. A lot of tours these days are just recorded messages anyway, this was entertaining, informative, and allowed us to go at our own pace.

This is honestly such a great app! The developers did an amazing job, with little/no glitches! The tours take you around to different locations and you get to explore what you want at your own pace. I would suggest inputting few more facts about the locations, but other than that, it was amazing!!

The shaka guide series is great! This is a brief but very good guide to Oahu. We take this drive all the time but the guide pointed out some cool facts along the way. We used the shaka guide in Maui and it was great and this one did not disappoint. Can't wait to do the full island guide.

We purchased the Maui tour and loved it so much we decided to use this tour in Oahu. The guide is amusing, informative, and seems to come on to answer questions right when your asking them. Plus it's easy to use! Thank you.

We saved a pile of dough and had a great tour experience from the comfort of our rental car. The directions are better than any navigation app I've used. Well worth the small price!

It's has been a treat using your your app my wife & I used the road to Hana app & really enjoyed your presentation. So we took my family on the O'Hara circle tour. It was fantastic as well.

Top app , works great and is very informative. Even has food and bathroom stops.

Great all day tour. Make sure you start the tour early in the morning or you won't get to see everything in one day.

Once you got out of Honolulu it seemed to work fine but inside Honolulu it got us lost going and coming.

No need to hire a tour guide. Just follow the turn by turn directions. Learned a lot about each place.

Best part of the vacation

We are on a family vacation now with our two teens. This app is spot on! We just finished both tours in Oahu and loved every second! The timing for everything is just right. The directions were given in plenty of time for us to change lanes if we needed to. The bathroom stops were perfectly timed, as were the food stops. Each stop was more amazing than the one before! I am a travel agent and will be telling ALL of my clients about this app!

I was little hesitant to purchase this app at the first instance. Bought the circle island tour for Oahu as a test and was really impressed. We felt as if a tour guide accompanying with us in the car providing history of the locations with driving instructions. Amazing app for a self driving tour.

Says Free but all you get is a rubbish app trying to sell expensive cheesey commentary and pushing you at their Social pages. Hit the back button. This would be illegal, false advertising under NZ law.

We had 6 hours to kill after arriving on Oahu in the morning and chose to spend the day following the Shaka tour. My expectations were pretty minimal but we were blown away by the production quality of the narration and how well timed navigation instructions were. We visited several out of the way spots that the regular tour buses were missing - and all from the comfort of our own car! We'll definitely be recommending this to our friends and would encourage anyone visiting the Hawaiian Islands to give these guys a try. You won't be disappointed

Never have done a self tour before. I will definitely do it again, it was Wonderful :)

Paid for the app and it simply wouldn't work. Emailed them but no response. Bought "Oahu Revealed" app instead and it worked great. Enjoyed Oahu, this app was useless.

This tour guide was the best. It made our trip! Not only did we learn the culture and see all of O'ahu, we got to taste some ono food!!! Absolutely enjoyed it. I'll use Shaka tours for every trip to the islands.

I did not like the music clips. It was a bit annoying.
