Camcorder - VHS Home Videos

So simple and so easy to use. It's also not so staticky when you record which is a bonus, no water mark displaying on the screen with the company name on it and the camera is clear but not super clear which makes it more cooler and realistic. You guys should add a pause button and some sort of editor on here and this app would be complete. Also if we can add our music on it. Other than that I like it more than the other apps by far!

It's okay if it this app had more features it wouldn't definitely grab the eye of more people and it would allow us to use the app to it's fullest extent. I can play and record a video, howevr, when I try to export the video back onto my computer it won't work. Also. I can't hear any of the sound I recorded as well. I'm hoping there can also be a menu button to adjust the static on the phone or to at least change basic settings such as flash or even changing the date to make it more vintage/ aesthetic vibe.

Nice program, exactly doing like the name says VHS camcorder. Has a vhs quality with old vhs camcorder futures. Not for HD demanding people just for a totally ad free and free program lower peoples. I would love a setting for time and date on an off and to change the default saving location. Thank you developer for your efforts .

Overall it's cool. Dope af. The only problem I encountered is that the sound is not asymmetrical with the video. The sound is way faster than the video itself. Like I'm still saying something and the sound's already done. You get what I mean? Idk if my phone's just dumb or whatever. But I think its fine, I thought my memory's just full but nah. Its all okay. So I hope this would get fixed. I really really like this application. Shots app is great too!

I love this app. It adds a really nice found footage vibe to any project your working on. And if you are really interested in the vhs grainy look, this is the best app out there! A few issues I had. I found that it choked a lot on larger videos. I didn't expect it to be able to handle 1hour videos, but I feel it should be able to hand 10 minutes worth of footage without issue. I think it would be perfect, if you could choose to remove the date and time. Some projects don't really require it. But other than that, it's a wonderful app! Thanks!

I found that the audio will not play if you playback your recordings on the app. You have to go to your phone's gallery and video player. Otherwise, I thoroughly enjoy this app and plan to use it! The effect could be a little cleaner and organic. But honestly, for what it is, a mock vhs recorder, this is already a great app.

While the app is excellent and runs really well, I think it is missing a key features which is being able to hide the date stamp, since 2016 is not a very vhs vintage looking year to have on a video. Personally the look of the app should be refined a little bit, keeping it vintage, but also good looking and functional. Great idea and app so far.

It's a cool idea, but there are no options on this app. You can't even change the timestamp to something that's more retro then the time your in now. Please fix this and please for the love of all that is good, add an option button with a vast array of options. Thanks.

Has not been updated since December 3rd 2015. Same Developer for Yaycam, I purchased both applications without knowing it was the same developer using different names. Both applications will not record audio. I emailed the developer several days ago, before posting this review and they have not responded.

In terms of the visual effect it is spot on. But recording is impossible. It lags and makes choppy video. You must record a video through your preset/other camera app and then open in on the app for rendering, which ruins the point slightly.

However it lacks a lot of features like changing the date, ability to turn off hd recording or even take pictures with it. This application has potentials but lacks features! 3/5 stars

It had most of the features but idk how to pause it and its really annoying and it doesn't have a music background feature and everytime i record something of the app and put it onto the app it moves really really really slow and that also annoys me. But other than that its really good.

It is pretty good quality and I enjoy the app alot. I have one problem. The front facing camera works fine, but once I switch it to the normal camera it starts to glitch. I don't know if it does that for an effect or if it is a slight bug. Other than that, great app.

I wish it had a few different filters. Allow us to change the graininess and the horizontal lines. Could there be a way to over lay this app over existing videos we've recorded using the default camera?

Love it. It gives the perfect VHS old cassette vibe. I only would wish the malfunctioning lines to be randomly distributed all over the image. I mean something that happened every now and then appearing as small lines because if the creator overdid it it would compromise the visibility of the image.

this was my favourite app on the G4 but when I switched over to the LG G5 last month it's been horrible. Even on the brightest days the quality shows up very dark, not even the flash can save the footage. Tried unistalling and re-installing multiple times, but nothing worked. Very disappointing.

Great little app for taking you back to shoulder camcorders. (Only feature I'd ask for is ability to control frequency of the tape noise. )The app does let you apply the effects to pre recorded files.

I find this app extremely fun and useful. There should be an option of setting a custom date to a video. The converting feature doesn't seem to be working in my case. I hope these 2 things will be fixed. The app will deserve 5 stars for sure.

The App is marvelous! The only thing that I'd suggest is that there should a be a setting button where you can adjust the light, saturation, color, grains, time and date etc. It would be much cooler if you had those. I really enjoyed shooting some clips, but the only problem I saw was the color of yhe video was way too dull.. needs more color adjustments.

Nice, but i will love the app when the option to turn off the lag when you move the cam be available. This feature is annoying, and i think that prejudice the video. I hope give 5 stars in the future, when this be corrected.

The app is great but.. When finished recording, I noticed lag in the playback. The audio was in sync, but the video lagged. Freezes, then continues playing and so on. Other than that it's an awesome app, truly recommend it!

I wanted an "old school camera" app, and that's exactly what this is. I am very satisfied with the way it looks; the static, date/time, and the faded color. The only thing that needs to be fixed is when I play my videos after recording them, the audio doesn't match up with the video.

I love this app. The glicth itself makes the video looks old-school. But the only thing I kinda don't likes is it stop at specific time. Can you make it a free stop time or make it longer. But this app is good.

Am I missing something or what. The video won't show up after I finish recording them. The screen would turn blank. And if I try closing the app, it will hang up

You know how u wanna turn ur camera over somewhere else but u just can't without recording the unnecessary parts.

Virtually no features other than flash & selfie,not even a settings or menu button to customize or alter things beyond basic stock cam. Requesting features to improve. There's a lot of room to grow if developed some: Variable static effects & amounts,B&W,Adjustable date/time,basic in-vid titles & wipes. Basic cut/paste video editing,mic distortion options,color adjustment controls. Currently it's a basic 'static/date/time' overlay w/vintage filter over stock camera. Nothing impressive but has potential.

I so wanted this app. I installed.... but when I make the video, the app crashes. Help me please!!! My tel is Samsung Galaxy s4

This brings back so many awesome memories! Very simple to use. It would be great if we could change the date that appears or at least the year... Would make for some interesting videos!

Nice camcorder and please make a increaser buzz of the camera please make a swipe thing that increases the buzz under the date like swipe up to increase and swipe down for decreasing like increasing it up like the iOS version please PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

But the only issue I have is the fact that it keeps automatically adjusting the focus, and it's incredibly annoying. Also, the effects are not quite there, but it seems to be on its way.

Footage looks great, if only it wouldn't stop filming after 3 minutes. If this is fixed I would happily rate a 5.

My Unhappy UP520 has no problem with this app. New features work without fault. Very nice.

This app does not record audio. Does not give you very many options as far as control. Does not give you just the video always record the video screen as if looking through a camera which sucks. I am just thankful that it's free because if I would have spent one penny on this I would be so angry.

Ever time I record a video it brings me back to the part where I download it... I can't see what I record afterwards

Im very unhapy with the export quality of the videos. Color looks great while recording but output is bad

I do wish we had more control over the small things. But over all , this is very neat!

A little weird here. Not sure if its just me though. Doesnt crash so thats good and does what it needs to.

Really good if you want video that are as bad as the first VHS recordings. Waste of time and effort for modern video.

Great VHS camera, I've been looking for a VHS camera for so long and I lost hope. I stumbled upon this godsend on the frontpage and I love it so far. 5 stars! *****

This app is very simple and is great for different shots. Its free and requires very little maintenance.
