Calendar Sync for Facebook

Love the app for what it does and attempts to do. Always a few small bugs, main one now is it not syncing on the schedule I've set. Cool options though for seeing or not seeing birthdays, event types, etc.

But a couple weeks ago it stopped synchronizing everything. It only synchs a few things and i cant determine any pattern. I hope you can fix it soon!

While it is a good app for syncing Facebook events to the calendar.. I have no idea how but because of this app I keep getting email birthday reminders everyday of people's birthdays... Is there any way to fix this??

Allows you to generally filter out anything you don't want cluttering up your calendar and through the integration in Google Calendar, loads of features available.

Was working brilliantly for the past couple of years... Recently though, it has stopped working, constantly get the message "Unable to fetch iCal URL"... Written to the developers but no response... Anyway, I think that the app has lived its life well... Hopefully, developers will take note...

App is good as I got all the events on my calendar. But it fails to sync the Birthdays to my calendar which I require too! Kindly assist me or fix this issue. The error is unable to get birthday iCal calendar.

Perfect! I thought we couldn't filter birthday but we can. Maybe you can set different colors for those things. At first I thought we were all bundled in the same group. Thanks! Edit: now that I used it more, there seems to be issue after a while it doesn't sync anymore. I must go manually sync the account to get my events.

I haven't been able to sync my events with my calendar since September. I keep getting a message that states, "sync is currently experiencing problems. It will be back shortly." Four months is not "shortly."

This app is a godsend. I own and run booking for a music venue and need to keep up with concert invites. I'm a former software developer, and I have NO idea why Facebook makes it so hard to sync its events with third party calendars. Apparently at some point years ago they had an exportable calendar that could then be imported into the Google ecosystem, but it doesn't work at all these days as far as I can tell. Well, Shadowfury has put some magic API scraping sauce into this app and it works almost perfectly. You can set whether or not you want "maybe" invites to show on your calendar and it's always up to date. Love love love this app. Whenever Facebook decides it's gonna kick the app off of the API, there's even a little notification reminding you to log back in to reauthorize it. I'd give this 6 stars out of 5 if I could. This certainly beats the pants off of trying to enter stuff manually for every event. THANK YOU, Shadowfury.

The only thing is that it didn't sync the events I host. Actually for a short time it shows them, and now they're gone. Otherwise solid 5 stars

Works a treat! I'm still not sure if I just tried the wrong methods before, but after trying for ages, this is the only app that brought together my S7, Google and Facebook events (had no trouble doing this on my Mac, only my phone). I've seen others on here say they've since been inundated with FB birthday events, but I've unchecked that option and now only see actual events rather than birthdays. Good control options!

Keep getting a connection refused error. Unable to create an account. Used to work well on my previous phone.

Used to be great, but has stopped syncing my Facebook events. Doesn't sync at all. Useless now.

Awesome app.. I was used to Xperia with Facebook feature in Sony which synced Facebook birthdays n events to Phone calendar, but somehow this was phased out gradually.. Thanks to this awesome app I am able to track all my friends' Birthdays without missing...

Works great, does what it advertises. Has multiple options in its setting, to control what you do and don't want to sync. Works quietly in the background, and does not appear to hog up too much space, ram, or memory.

At time of writing, app does not successfully sync Facebook events, instead only syncing birthdays. Which is somehow even more frustrating, adding insult to injury that it can successfully sync the part of Facebook that no one would ever want to sync.

It did bring all my Facebook crap over to my Android calendar. Unfortunately now my calendar is completely overflowing with Facebook birthdays. I would really love to have the ability to exclude birthdays from the sync or at least color code them differently to make them easy to identify and ignore. Update: you can now change the color on birthday reminders! That's a big help, adding a star to my review. (although at the moment sync seems to be down, but I presume that's temporary)

Perhaps have a feature where you can create an event and share it with your Facebook friends. Also have it to where you can accept or decline an event. But perhaps these features are outside of the scope of the app. I just want an app that's a fully featured Facebook Event manager. EDIT: I appreciate your help with the event filters. 5 stars!

Coming from BlackBerry I was used to seeing all events that I had. I imagined if there would be LinkedIn and whatnot events, I would also see them. Not so on Android. And there are very few calendars that have FB support (and don't work at least for me). This is a godsend! It adds it to Android as a calendar supplier (I guess?) and it is just like your gmail calendars. Select or unselect. Easy peasy. Why FB does not offer that is beyond me.

And does it flawlessly. And then I select which calendars (i.e. events I'm attending, events I may be attending, events I haven't responded yet, etc.) to sync and which to display, etc. No more having to respond "yes" to events you're not sure about just to have them showing up in your calendar. Super convenient!

I was happy till yesterday evening i was able to see all my facebook birthdays on my android calendar but from yesterday evening it is not getting sync inspite of showing sync successful.. I would like to give 5 stars as soon as u fix the bug.. Its a great app.. Please revert back.. And fix the issue..

If you're having problems importing the URL of Facebook events to your Google calendar, then this app will fix this issue, and you can use it to add events to your native calender! The only thing that would make it better is the ability to sync multiple Facebook profiles

This app forces you to donate either a 1$ or 5$ just so you can use it. Garbage. If I knew if the app worked maybe i had paid for it but don't make me buy something blind.

Such a useful and clear, functional application - and the developer writes long and detailed descriptions of why permissions are needed and how the app works. I would have happily paid for this app, it's great work. Still seems bizarre to me that Facebook hasn't created something similar.

I dont need to know days or weeks before a facebook bday. Shortest choice is 0 minutes so thats midnight- not the best time. Let me choose 9am day of.

I've been using this app for quite a while now but just recently discovered that it's stopped showing birthdays on my calendar without warning. No signs of errors that I can see. Hopefully it'll be rectified soon.

It doesn't interface with your already installed Facebook app for getting a token/auth. Instead it makes you log in, this is a pita for those of us who enable 2 factor authentication

I have a new S6 and went crazy all weekend trying to find out why I can no longer sync. This worked like a charm! Thank you so much! Would you know of an app to sync contacts from Facebook To Your Contacts? The option is greyed out on the account settings :-(

I have a s7 and it does what it says it does. Definitely read the responses the developer writes to those people that want to get rid of the birthday notifications. (Which I did because I can't stand my calendar filled up with fb b day crap.) You can also do it to to remove events interested in and events not attending. Thanks man! AWESOME APP!

I am using this since long time. Was Awasume app. But unfortunately it stops working. BIRTHDAY sync not working

I have been using this app with my LG G3 previously but now when I am trying to use with my Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge, it is not working. The calendar name is showing in Google Calender Settings but it is not syncing any data from my Facebook...Upset Upset Upset!!!

Nice app. Works perfectly on my Yureka YU. Just the calendar has become a bit slow while I scroll I guess its because of the large no of events that had to be added.

I lost all my contact birthdays from S Planner since the marshmallow update. This app got it right back where it should be..!

The refresh button on the widget doesn't work. Had to uninstall and reinstall this to get it to show new events I selected to attend. I don't have Facebook birthdays checked to sync yet they're all over...guess I have to uninstall and reinstall AGAIN.
