Messenger for Pokemon GO

This app was an excellent idea. However, there seems to be very little activity. Had this app only been a few days old, I would let this slide...but after a few months one would expect the community to be more established. 3 stars; enjoyed the idea behind the app but very little practical use for it. Uninstalled.

I do love it and love the concept, but I'm the only one in our small town using it, and the adjoining city doesn't seem to have much activity either. If word gets out more about it, I would download again.

Cant manage to start using the app as I cant seem to get past the permission check..Ive tried both enabling/disabling the screen overlay....(marshmallow)

This is probably the best chat app available while playing Pokemon Go! It works nearly perfectly! The overlay interface doesn't interfere with playing Pokemon Go or other apps for that matter which is probably the most important part! It doesn't drain ones battery, doesn't take a lot of space, and from what I can tell isn't much of a data hog. You can even create your own groups which is amazing! You can't manage them or do anything with the group's once they are created but that maybe a feature they add if the app takes off. I only have three issues with the app that are pretty minor but one. 1. The app occasionally crashes but it isn't annoying and it starts back up without issues or ruining Pokemon Go. It may just be my phone. 2. Sometimes it will say you have a ton of notifications in your area when there are none. This is pretty minor but I'd like to see it fixed. 3. This is the biggest issue and probably the hardest for the developers. There is hardly anyone that uses the app. I wouldn't say it's a complete ghost town but it's close to it. I hope the developers promote the app so it gets the attention it deserves!

This is a great app if you have a small group that has been put together perhaps on Facebook or elsewhere. This app enables you to communicate and post in real-time and is an excellent feature. Very easy to use very user-friendly and probably one of the better apps out there. The community is small but if you make it your own with your own friends it's an excellent tool particularly when you meet strangers that play and you want a means to communicate without getting personal information

Works pretty well. Work on building the community where you are. Now that there are Pokemon gym raids, this app is very useful. Until Niantic adds its own in-game messenger, this is probably the best option.

I love the simplicity and ease of use. It just needs more people using it. Only suggestion is the ability to change the bubble colours.

Great for local chat groups. Does have a problem suddenly stopping. But all in all pretty good app for it's used.

This location-based message board is such a great idea, it should be implemented in-game... that said, the user base is so small, there's hardly anybody using it in my town.

It by far isn't the best one... But it does get the job done.

Seems to work great other than no one around me is on the hot tip to dl it

If they could set more location specific chat group's it would totally be 5 star app

Everytime open the app it says in offline.

For the fact that PoGo should have this in game, this is an awesome way to coordinate gym battles and meets through the game.

So the idea is great and hopefully people will start using it till then it is just waiting for some people to sign on and start using... I will see you there...

This is a great app as far as running and it's options but nobody uses it or they are using the private group option.

Should be able to pm people ya should add that but it's great

I'd definitely recommend this app to anyone thinking of downloading. It's completely free, so you don't have to worry about having to buy any add-ons, and it is great at what it does (that is, be a messenger app for Pokémon go players). Anybody who's used the facebook messenger would know about the chat bubble feature. Well guess what, you can do the exact same with this app! The nearby feature is great, as long as you have people using the app nearby. I've yet to encounter any errors as of yet.5/5 stars.

Spoofers are using the distance counter to triangulate people's locations and teleporting to their cities using game hacks to take over gyms. Really annoying. Choosing to share a location is one thing but having that choice taken away from you is another. It's still the best Pokemon chat app I've seen out there though.

I enjoyed it had a few chats exchanged good places to find Pokémon. A bit like ingress' in game chat. Shame it's not fully incorporated though, but obviously that's possible.

The main chat should be global chat, meaning either everyone in Canada (if residing in Canada) or all users of game in the world, and then there's team chat. I think you should do either global feature, but not implement into game, its good on its own. Also have a feature where we can favorite certain players. Like, have our own friends list etc. Also, profile pics & a profile when ppl click on our name.

"An error occurred. please check your connection and try again." Android popup floats after start. App says I'm currently offline and doesn't load any messages. Need ur help plz.
