World Fires - OpenLayers

I used this app as part of a demonstration at my school of the necessity of satellite imagery in tracking natural disasters. I found this developer seems to be the only one actually tracking fires from space and not just hurricanes! One potential improvement - the app seems to think a volcanoe in Hawaii is a fire.

Very interesting concept. It was simple, but functional. One interesting thing to see was how agricultural burning spreads north in Africa depending on the time of year. My only complaint is that Hawaii's volcanoes are also shown as fires, but this is easily forgiven. Clever.
