This is an amazing app! It helps me organize my ideas really well and it's very easy to use. It also helps me with my writers block and it helps me plan the whole story without difficulty. The only thing I want out of this app is an option to add pictures to the items, characters, and locations. In conclusion, my stories are getting better with this app. I really recommend It! :)

Amazing app that helps me organize my ideas! I've been looking for something like this ever since I began writing stories that I usually quit because of the lack of organization they had. Now I won't have a writer's block throughout the story I want to write, therefore not lean away from writing. A simple but extremely useful app with more options that I expected! Definitely a must for a writer :)

It's a good app but it needs improvement. *1)* The way things are organized can be a bit confusing at first. You have the 'WriteOwlProjects' folder mixed in with other folders that have no clear purpose. Within the main folder, you have the projects, text documents & folders jumbled up together. *2)* Also, you cannot rearrange the files. I wish I could just drag and move. *3)* Plus you cannot simply move a file to a folder. You must "Save as" each file to the new location and then delete them one by one from the old location. *4)* Moreover, a search box is needed, especially if you plan to create a lot of different documents. *5)* Another thing, you can create chapters but you cannot organize them into volumes. I want the option to categorize the chapters into volumes. *6)* In addition, I would like to upload images for characters & locations. *7)* Lastly, I wish I could save the document as a PDF or .doc and email it to myself instead of having to rely on Dropbox.

Hate, because is has shown me writing my first novel is not as easy as I imagined. Love, because it has shown me a superb way to organise my thoughts and plan my way.

So far, texting files such as ( cast of characters ) and ( situation ) in a folder called *quagmire*. The writer feels he must include a Therapy Pet Dog as a Third Character, and just don't put in too much unnecessary details in just yet. What I want to do is create another file ( Scene Illustrations ) to match some art ideas in a comic page format.

This app is PERFECT. Everything I looked for and easily manageable. My word, this is incredible!! I don't even usually write reviews but holy cow this is AMAZING!

But unfortunately, I don't know how to use this app. Is there a tutorial?

I absolutely love this app. It is everything I need to plan and write my stories in one place. Would recommend to anyone who likes to write fiction.

Not bad at all, I think it needs improvement. But so far, it is good.

If you can't make a new project, go to your settings, then apps, select this and look at permissions. Mine was set to disabled when I installed it. Switched it on and I can now make projects. Can't say if this is the creator's fault because Google changes these things frequently and can catch a creator off guard if they're not frequently updating their apps. I'm sure creators want to make more apps instead of constantly maintaining their other apps.

I love it. This app allows me to create my ideas and put them into reality. I am only ten but this app is useful. Thanks

I really would like to use the app but whenever I do a file name it won't work. Please let me know when the update to fix this will be available.

Keep getting an error with the file name when I try to create a project.

Everything I type doesn't work :( can't even start using the apo

I can't create a project at all. No matter what file name I put it always comes up with an error

All the things in it wirk great, and I love the addition of maps. But, it would be awesome if you could give your files your own images, or colours. No other remarks.

I can't use the app because every time I try to make a project the file name comes up with and error. I can't fix this even though I've tied so many other file names. Please Try to fix this!!

I can't create a project because no matter what file name I give it, it always comes up as an error. All the spaces are filled in, nothing is left blank. Very promising app but I can't get started.

Updated for Cyber Monday: Great improvements, including more export options and the ability to reorder lists. But the reordering lists won't work consistently and I would like to export my Brainstorm entries as well. Thanks for making such a great app and keep it up!

This app is great since updating! I love that you enabled rearranging of entries in the chapter section! I'd been using this app for brainstorming, but working back and forth between other doc apps for a while for outlining and drafting because the chapters were so hard to work with in the early stages, and it was getting exasperating. But hopefully I can just use this one now that it's easier to move things around. I haven't tried the manuscript yet but it also looks like a good feature.

Doesn't open

Story Planner has the same issue- you can't rearrange entries the way *you* want. Whatever order you enter them in is what you get, so if things change, which they often do.. Is this a difficult feature to program? If so, sorry to complain! Would love it and donate. Also pics, but not as important. Got Evernote for that. Great potential! Take care.

Helped me out with developing my story, helped me organize my thoughts and I came up with the ending I was looking for in a few weeks! There are a few things I would like to see: 1) a way to upload images, especially under the character tab. I'm a visual person, I want to see my characters. 2) a way to organize the items under the tabs, especially under the chapters tab. 3) a way to add tabs! There may be a different category depending on the story! Hopefully, someone reading this considers my thoughts. :)

I would love for there to be a way to add this app's files to my Google Drive, too. I also tried to recommend this to my friend, but as an iphone user she has no access to the app. If you could fix up both these things, I'd be delighted. ^^

It's a really great app that helps me keep everything in one place, but after I have everything down, it's hard to look back at it. It would be helpful if there were two separate options for viewing and editing.

5 stars if you can make the Characters, Locations, Scenes and Items tab the same with General and Chapters tab where we can view the content/details without the keyboard popping up (uneditable) and instead, there's an Edit button feature if we'd like to edit the content. Thank you!

Just downloaded the app and it seems great. I can keep track of everything to do with my story. One request: make it possible so that we can link characters together or have a tab in the character profile where you could put in relationships,names and stuff of parents,basically create a charcter within the charcter tab. And i wish i wouldnt have to press save all the time. An auto save feature would be great

I type fast so it crashes a few times but its good for unorganized people like me

It's a great app, I have yet to see anything that I don't like, but there is one limitation that I have to work around. It has everything I need except an "events" tab. That would be really helpful with what I'm doing. When that's added, it will have my five stars.

Whenever i add something on the dwscription on the chapter scenes and saving it , it says error :( but i love the app

Once you're OK with the plan you export it as text (I'd print it out as a reference while writing my story or novel). Real help to organise ideas and sorting out chapters and characters with bios and backgrounds etc.

It's really cool to use and it helps me out. Just don't create a folder, because it won't let you delete it.

Does its job well enough, but could be improved. I would've liked to see options to add your own fields (relationships, reputation, eg) under characters and places.

A few tweaks and this would be a 5 star app! The ability to add photos, add tabs, edit the order of lists, and to be able to add description slots t characters.

It's so handy that whenever I think of an idea that I can put in my story, I can just pile them up in brainstorm. I love it!

Just needs the ability to reorder list items (ideas, etc) by dragging them around and it'd be absolutely perfect for my needs
