Website Monitor for Android
Fantastic app for devekopers like me
Didn't seem to work on my phone - I didn't get a background alert after I switched my phone off and waited 5 minutes. Also I didn't like the way you have to have a foreground service (icon), would prefer if it had a less frequent check option that uses a broadcast receiver.
Does not work in background
Most of the time with wrong check up results
I tried about 6 other competing apps before returning to this one. PLEASE add 2 more features. 1) a AMOLED compliant service indicator icon. currently it sticks out garishly colorful against the professional looking black and white, subdued, icons of other apps. this also extends battery life in AMOLED devices. easy fix! 2) please add Locale plug-in support. this will greatly expand possible use cases and place this app in position to even have a paid version. (yes, I would pay for that)

Good app. Work excellent.
Latest update crashes on app start every time. Unusable.
Permissions seem strange. Why would you need access to device ID and media?
Keeps alerting me to downtime while there is none.. Is good when you have 100% coverage. But does not check actual internet connectivity before alerting...
As soon as I downloaded it and entered my site it detected it as down. It wasn't! Good idea but it is not working.

This app is exactly what I needed...A basic lightweight app that works.

Does not work and freezes phone clicked on the app nd my phone froze
This is really easy to setup and works really well.I'm very happy with this as it helps me keep track of sites I need to use for my hobbies and or job. I have a few feature requests while I'm writing though. It would be cool if the tool would cache the favicon next to the title for easy recognition, and perhaps have the option to make the background color of the row red or green depending on whether it's working or not. Also, some cool things that aren't necessary, but perhaps reports based on historic data, and % of uptime / rating. Anyway, it's great as it is, but if you can implement more awesome. 5 Stars people. Does exactly what it says. Would also be nice to get a notification if and when the site comes back up instead of only when it goes down. Lastly, every time I go to open the app it checks the servers again, and I can't see the result of the last poll till it finishes.
This app just woke me up at 3:00AM. It appears my web server had a hard drive issue and had crashed. It is back up now, so this very simple app does just what I need it too.
Love the simplicity! My requests: 1. Last time run succeeded shown on each line. 2. Ability to temporarily stop polling a site. 3. Ability to set polling interval on a per site level. Thanks
Very simple and it works!
The widget makes it good. Really needs a log.
Its really great i m mostly monotring my servers viva this
If there is a port number in the URL the app gets confused.
Alarm is great, configuration simple but sufficient. Bug: new server does not show in server list upon adding. Please add last ping time, and also a per-server timeouts and check intervals
Useless! Url monitor is better in terms of simplicity at least it shows check and cross marks on the widget to show if the website isup or down.
Perfect and simple!
Simple and effective.
Unclear what the status is, isn't that the point of a widget?
