mySymptoms Food Diary (Lite) for Android
Great little app for tracking health lifestyle. Customizable for tracking all the things I want to track. Worth the $3.
Great app to track my ibs diet etc. Developer has fixed an issue for me and gone beyond expectations. Excellent support
Ads are so annoying everytime you write something down!! Useful info however
Great diet tracker! Currently using it to (hopefully) identify migraine triggers. Recommended
Annoying adverts Why have an advert pop up every time something is noted down? SO annoying! So I'm uninstalling!
I love it it's really user friendly and doesn't have glitches! I enjoy using it
Love it
So far, this is the app I have been looking for! I've kept a lot of food journals in my life as I have a lot of GI trouble, and I'm usually a pencil and notebook type of lady. It's never been convenient to log it into an app, until I found this one! I love that is designed with food tracking for illness in mind, and not for weight loss. I love that you can share it so easily with a doctor. I paid for the premium version after using the free one a few days to make sure I'd use it, and it's worth your money to do that. Rather than having to interpret your diary yourself, (as I've done before with a paper log) this app will chat trends for you. You can also add your own symptoms to the list, which is great, because I've needed to add a few (forgetfulness, irritability, etc.) If your doctor has told you to keep a food diary, this is by far my favorite way to do so.
This app is essential if you have a health problem, especially if it's linked to digestion. Really, really helpful. Thank you, developers.
Way too much pop up ads
Simple to help me keep track of my symptoms and eating habits.
Principle is good but needs work. The input interface is not streamline and could be made much quicker. I have used for two weeks so far and the analysis still isn't working, with many symptoms coming up as being "100%" causated by something. I will give it time, because I do love the idea of the app. Will update soon. But please make the input quicker and easier! (for one thing can you make the back button 'save' the data as if you pressed the tick button? I keep loosing data by pressing back instead of tick)
Even though it is a bit utilitarian, and can use some streamlining, the ability to truly tailor this app to your own unique situation is amazing! One of the best out there. PS. It will take some time to write things down in the beginning but as everything you put down is recorded, the app remembers and it gets much quicker, so give it a solid week.
I just downloaded this app and went to put in my breakfast and the database doesn't have bagel! Really? I was excited to find an app to help find my triggers, but already not impressed that I have to create a new item for such a popular food. I will continue to try it for a day or two, but thus far I'm not impressed.
After each symptom/food item logged you get an advert. Overkill. How are you actually meant to use it without it taking forever!
Fantastic app! This is just what I was looking for to work with my dietician. I'm still getting the hang of finalizing selecting or entering an item, and I wish it had a calorie calculator, but so far this is the best tracking app I've seen.
A full screen ad after every single entry? That's effing ridiculous. I'll tweet this to my 11k followers to make sure they know about greedy developers such as yourself, and not to give you any business.
Cumbersome, but appropriate if you are patient and serious about identifying food allergies.
Very handy app and very responsive developer
Easy to use. My doctor loves it as well!
Simple to use to track my symptons.
Really good for keeping a track of everything; symptoms, food, exercise and more. The input is slightly irritating. It would be good to be able to have a multi-input process.
It is a great app, especially useful when trying to eliminate foods that give you unwanted symptoms.
It's beneficial, but would love the option to include macro nutrients.
Paid for upgrade to get rid of annoying ads now says I'm back on lite when they pushed a major bug fix. They took away ability to export data so that made this whole thing pretty useless to me.
The app came in handy when my husband was diagnosed with stage IV cancer, especially in keeping track on meds taken when. It would truly be beneficial if they had the pain scale. Chemo changed his taste buds so tracking his food tolerance is easy with this app.
Great app that makes it really easy to track food intake and symptoms. First time ever that I'm sticking to a diary
This app makes it easy to keep track of your food and symptoms. And when I write with a question, a real person write back within a couple days.
The daily log gives a good overview of what might be impacting my allergies. I love that I can log my food & exercises without calorie counting. I like that the daily log includes sleep quality, allergy symptoms, medications, supplements, stress & environmental allergens. I like that I can easily add to any of the databases and rate the intensity of a reaction. Thank you!
A lot of work needs to be done. I'm annoyed how it won't let me categorize my own food groups, and the navigation for putting in food and recipes is having my last nerves. I'm still going to use it because there's not much out there, but if they don't do better quick I will be switching.
I love the latest update! This app has helped me keep track of my symptoms and love the new reminder option. Keep up the great work!!
Had troubles realizing how to do the search (I guess I am too used to googles' auto-complete). All good.
Super easy to use: great interface, easy to customize, easy and fast to add everything (food, sumptoms, other variables), easy to review data... Honestly, one of the most helpful and useful apps out there. Thank you, SkyGazer Labs! :)
Needs to have link between medication and symptoms, so clickon medication symptom you have entered displayed
Absolutely what I needed for my elimination diet. Some of the inputting could be streamlined a bit, but this app is great for keeping track for while I'm on this.
Not accurate, bad interface and useless analysis
Tracks what i need, as i need without going on about calories, which is fantastic. easy to put in unlisted foods and it remembers previous foods if you keep a similar meal for say breakfast so very easy to use. Also the reports are easy to produce for dietitians as well, i email them to myself print and attach it to the print out they ask me to complete so i don't have to transfer info or carry around a bit of paper every day everywhere i go.
for those of us who have to maintain therapeutic ketones on a daily basis to help manage inflammation. Also an omega 3:6 ratio would be great for people trying to maintain a higher omega 3 status (again to reduce inflammation) , but less important. Add input for temperature, ketones & blood glucose & you're all set. There's a few other cool things you could do to this application.
This is a great app for anyone with a chronic disease that needs to track things. It is very flexible and user friendly. It does try to correlate symptoms to possible causes. I have been tracking everything I want to track for about a month now and have found that just the act of tracking helps me to be more aware. I think the app is good already, but I would like to see more ability to sort data in future versions of the app. For example, it would be nice to see how often I took a certain medication.

This was exactly what I needed to track food, symptoms, meds, & bm. Crashed a couple of time but restarted with no problems. Thanks for the help.
