Quiet for Gmail

OMG, this is everything. All of my personal and work accounts are gmail based. I want to be able to get my personal accounts pretty much all day every day, but I don't want to get my work email pushed to my phone except during work hours. This app solves that problem and could not be more simple. It is a blessing. It's free, but I'd be willing to pay a couple of dollars for it. I can't believe something similar isn't hard baked into the gmail app.

Yes! Yes! Yes! It took me hours to find this solution and it is so simple. You can schedule all of your gmail accounts any way you want. I run my business through gmail accounts and I was able to shut off biz accounts for the evenings and weekends, but keep my personal gmail account syncing. This app is unfortunately buried in the search results for 'schedule gmail sync' or 'schedule google accounts' when this should be at the top. I installed and test at least 6 other apps (lost count) before finding this one. I allowed it to run over the weekend and tested it multiple times. I works perfectly.

The from and to doesn't work properly. I have set the rule to switch off sync from 7pm today to 8am next day with all days of the week selected, it turns off the sync from 8am to 7pm. This is just the opposite of what I want. Fix this bug please.

This app has saved my sanity! So easy to use and does exactly what I need it to. For those like myself who have work on the go, and sometimes just need a few hours of peace, I can't recommend this app enough.

This app seriously makes separating my work and home life so much easier. My stress level has gone down immensely without getting work updates on my days off and in the evenings.

I love this app! I had a bad habit of taking work home with me. With this app, I can turn off email notifications on nights and weekends. I am way less stressed now. Everyone can wait until Monday morning.

Update: App no longer seems to be working correctly. The app is excluded from doze, so I would think it would still work, but have to I open app every few days to get it to work correctly. Been wanting to use Gmail as main email app for the longest but not being able to silence my work emails was such a deal breaker. With this add-on, I've dropped bluemail and gone back to Gmail for all my accounts. Thanks!

This app is fantastic. Since personal and work emails are Gmail based, and need both on my phone, with this app I can shut them up when I need to. So this way, I am truly out of work when I am not working.

Nice app. Stops your email accounts updating at certain times. Can control each account individually so personal emails come through. Super simple, exactly what I wanted.

This fantastic application keeps business from ruining my family evenings. There is no pay version (or ads), and the author won't accept donations, so this review will have to do.

App does not activate and deactivate my email notifications when scheduled. I frequently still get emails after hours, or I will go through a whole day of field work and find that I missed important, time sensitive emails because the app didn't turn my email notifications back on in the morning. If it worked properly this would be a great app, but as it is currently it's pretty useless.

Behavior change is hard, and this helps me by adding in one more step to check my email - if I have to manually refresh the email, then I have an extra moment to recognize and question what I'm doing. Very helpful for me.

This app is a lifesaver! Like other reviewers I work remotely. Being able to turn my work email notifications off while keeping my personal email functioning normally, has lowered my stress levels and separated my work life from my home life again.

All I wanted was a simple way to mute my work emails after hours but keep syncing my personal accounts... And it delivered! I can sleep easy again!

The app does work however, it has issues with power saving mode on Nougat. When power saving mode is turned off, the app isn't returning to normal behavior and email isn't being turned on again.

Work/Life balance now better! Finely tuned enough that it obeys the overall "Sync" setting on Android. If you turn Sync and your quiet hours are in play, you /still/ won't receive emails on the specified accounts. Woo :)

It is nice to schedule working hours for the work emails. Now I never worry about getting or replying to emails on my personal time.

Such a good app, just what I needed to stop getting work emails out of hours. Really simple with no uncecessary notifications too.

not obtrusive, doesn't give loads of unnecessary alerts, just works. really good app.

It worked great for the first week but now I have to go into Gmail and manually refresh during the schedule time I should be getting emails.

Simple and effective. This is one of the few applications doing what it's supposed to do, no more no less, and does it perfectly.

Just what I need! I set it up to turn on three times a day for an hour each instance. Oh really freed me from checking my phone constantly.

Does exactly what it says, reliably, and with a good interface. Set and forget.

When it works it works great, but I frequently have to open the app for it to either activate the schedule or deactivate it.

Does what Gmail should just allow you to do automatically, but doesn't.
