7stanes MTB buddy for Android
Great app got me back safe when I took iII in dalbeattie and needed to take a short cut. Buying the maps as I ride the trails hope to have them all soon
I keep getting a 1005 error when trying to download the map of Ae. Other maps let me go through with the transaction, but the only map I want right now is that of Ae.
One of the maps i bought has disapeared. Last time it was all of them. Ae wont let me view or buy. Please help.
App takes your money but then does not give you your map. Then they ignore your email.
I can't purchase the maps because it says the app uses a billing method that isn't supported :(

Have to pay for maps? What's the point? App does nothing else.
Good app if you're mountain biking a.t any of the map locations. Developer is helpful if any problems occur as well.
I have managed to get Newcastleton and Mabie back on my phone 1 but every time I press Ae (greyed out ) it just says authentication error I need to sign in to verify and I am sighed in and then it says 1005 error ..I know I have already purchased this as it's in my purchased items ..
Can't access any maps and can't buy any new one's. Uninstalled and reinstalled. Doesn't seem to be fixed to me!
Its a rotten app now had the glentrees and innerleithen maps then my phone updated and had to download app again now it wont let download glentress and inner maps it keeps sayin payment issue

Since the update I can only have maps on one device, liked checking the map on the tablet at home but having them on my phone on the trail, any chance? Pinch to zoom would be a nice update too! :-)
All my maps have disappeared since phone update :(
Used to be good. Changed to a new phone and constantly get errors and can't access the map I purchased
Still not working, update resolved problem for a while. Not I get error type 7 on any purchased maps. Useless!
Originally a great app. Updated my phone and now gave no maps but also cant buy then due to issues with payment. How can i get my maps back?

I'm heading up to Newcastleton and found this app, thought it might be useful but the trail head is shown at Priesthill car park and it moved from there to Newcastleton village ages ago. Leaves me wondering what else is out of date. I also thought the map could be better quality and show more detail when you zoom in.
Got the app and bought 2 maps but can no longer buy maps as it says the app can't access correct pay services!!
Don't bother just print from your computer
I'm happy to buy the maps however can't as I get a message saying the purchase system is not supported by Google play, is there an update due so I can get them..
Got this to use while out with my wife, kids etc and it's a great way to show them where they are, have been etc. What I'd like to see is inclusion of those enduro trails all over Glentress in particular. I know locals like to guard them, but I maybe get over there 4 or 5 times a year with riders able to do harder stuff. It would be nice to have a way of locating the proper routes of these quickly and easily. You may also find that people are happier paying for maps that show stuff not generally recorded ..
There have been a few negative reviews which I think are harsh. Yes, you pay for the map (as described) but I thought it worked really well and provided an accurate position via GPS. This is what I was looking for.
As a prospective buyer, how am I to decide how good this app is if there is nothing for me to see? Trails are changed regularly, how am I supposed to know how often this app is updated to reflect these changes. This app offers so much potential for regular riders and weekend warriors alike, but it needs to offer something to demonstrate this. Look at the negative comments; just telling people to read the blurb is not going to improve the app, or encourage more people to download it. It could be great...
A tenner for some maps? Really? Could of been a really useful app.
Read the description, understood about the cost but see the merits and functionality here and think it's a great little app.
Maybe its me but I'm with everybody else just now - installing a 'free' app that actually has zero functionality (and I mean zero) without a further in-app purchase is rather annoying. May well be a very useful app and very well implemented interactive version of the 7stanes maps - in which case 1.49 not going to break the bank: could I suggest a few more screen shots or a demo mode?
Maprika does the 7 stanes for free. Not sure what this does that is different or worth the cash. At least have a time limited demo mode so we can compare.
folk are complaining about having to buy the maps after downloading the app but it's well worth the money...your tracked via gps allowing you to see where your going and where you are....great to keep you on track. my only gripe is I bought most of the maps on my iPhone and now that I have a galaxy have to buy them again....unless anyone knows how I can get round that?
I've obviously missed the point - no info without a purchase?
Nice app. Ideal if you're visiting any of the 7 stanes - great as you know where you are in relation to the beginning/end in case you want to bail out.
What is the point of a free app that you then HAVE to pay for things later. Paying should be for a bonus feature not for standard stuff. Print map and read route markers
Don't bother just print from your computer

Installed this app ready for a trip north of the border next month to ride at Glentress. Now I don't need to worry about picking up a paper map. Had a quick play with the app and it works very well. Looking forward to using it to link up bits of the Red and Black trails. Update! Just back from a superb weekend in the sun at Glentress and Innerleithen. This app worked just as expected :-)
You have to pay but it's worth it.
Fantastic little app, makes it soooo easy to find shortcuts to trailheads as well as linking runs. Brilliant
Zero funtionality until you pay.

Managed to download mabie, Dalbeattie and glentress. Normally I use viewranger for cross country which has its own issues but gives all sorts of stats on time, speed and height. This app is much more simple, but frustratingly buggy. Trying to download ae failed... Poor mobile phone Internet, now even though my Internet is reconnected and working well with other applications, it seems locked in a loop and each time I try to download ae, it just tells me I need to sign in to Google and gives an error.
