It's a good app and it's a good way to boost your business I love it as long as u stay on top of leads an get your credit on bad leads or people just looking it can work for u I have ever thing I need. 1 app to run my business well an keep track of things

Leads are duplicated, if you call too quickly it doesn't record it as called. Difficult if not impossible to get credit for incorrect info leads, customer not going to do project after talking to them, or "bogus" leads with "customer did not provide additional info" which seem to come after hours and you cannot connect with for days. Worse you can call immediately and customer tells you you are 4th or fifth to call, or it has already been completed. Feels like a lot of bad leads to line their pockets. Other contractors say to watch them closely but all you can watch is them stealing from you. Also no consistency with leads 5 in a day and none for rest of week. VERY FRUSTRATING!

I think they shorted the lead pauses to every 2 days so u forget to turn it back off! Then all of a sudden one or 3 comes through! It use to be 2 weeks or more options!!! Or they charge different prices for different leads, when they don't even make sense! They send the same people and charge u for them, getting double charged. 1 month they did it 7 times!!! Little extreme.They have been sending us people that don't reply back then they try saying I ask for more refunds than the resting my kind of work. BS!!!

It is ok. I wish it had more options like on the desktop version. It keeps telling me I need to call someone I have already called. So it has a few glitches. It will not let me move lead opportunities out of my new lead folder. Basic glitch that should have been fixed already.

The quality of Home Advisor has went WAY WAY down. We have used HA for a while now and had alot of success at first, the last 9months we have been getting calls with wrong info or customer is unreachable yet we still get charged for this call. When we call HA we talk to nice people but the call quality still stays low and we have to fight to get any credit back.

HA was amazing when I first signed up. However over the last six - nine months the leads have started to decline. I get multiple comments from clients that they are sick of sales calls from home advisor. Also when I call it's the wrong information. And worst of all, client says they found a provider weeks ago... But I called within minutes of getting the 'new' lead. My cost is going up and I'm not recouping from the leads that HA is generating. Time to find a new lead generator.

Lead generating and pushing should be screened better before applied to ones account. We get too many duplicate leads which means double charges. Leads that we pay for to find only want another estimate. No replies from leads, some are from competition just checking to see who's listed with Home Advisor. It's one thing after another. Past two weeks paid out close to $1,300 to only get a sold job of $480.00 Trim a tree. Not adding up Home Advisor. Feeling kind of ripped off.

I'm new on business but honestly. I been having bad experience with this app. I'm getting people that when I call them They send me to hell or they say I was just playing and to get credits refund is a pain in the butt so far I only got 3 people that they really need services on my opinion they should charge only if you get the costumer

Too many bad leads with wrong phone number, Home Advisor will not refund your money back. They send 5 contractors to the same lead cause you to low ball your price to stay in business.

Most of these leads are very poor. The salesmen tell you whatever you want to hear. A great deal of the leads are unaware they are being contacted. Upon originally signing you up, HA reps tell you they screen these leads. Upon digging & asking several reps, I found out that there is no screening process. And they told me, I'd get refunded if contacted by any of my current customers. That's a lie as well. While, we've gotten quiet a few jobs off of here in the past, they have gotten worse in the past & I no longer recommend Home Advisor. They also advertise that they check out their "Pros". They do not. If a company will pay them, they will list them.

This was an absolute nightmare of a service. Out of 8 leads that I followed up with immediately, I only landed one repair job (I don't do repairs, but it was an elderly veteran, so I was happy to help him). The rest of the leads didn't even bother to call back after I tried to reach them multiple times and or gave them an estimate. Most leads are people just curious to see what it would cost, but not seriously looking to get masonry/concrete work. Only 2 leads that were "real" projects, but customers weren't even serious about getting the work done. Basically, weak leads that I was still charged for. I'm into this service for $600, about a week of going to bids/writing estimates, and haven't even earned that back money (the time spent not included) It may be good for service construction, but definitely not worth the $$ or time

This app SUCKS! HA customer service does not exist. 19 leads in first 9 days and only 2 answered the phone. Called my first contact with HA and he took his sweet time calling back. Received leads 45 miles away and my radius is 15 miles. When I finally spoke with my rep he said he would take care of my issues calls, texts, and email for every lead makes it impossible to get anything scheduled. When I was being told by my rep that he would get any agent on the line to help with the bogus leads and getting credit he put me on hold and then I was transferred to the starting line. Asked if I wanted to sign up with HA. the agent that I got was giving me the sales line that out of 28 total leads 2 face to face conversations was very good. 7% contact is fair at the most far from very good. Better off going door to door.

Good app but sometimes the leads are such big jobs they are just not possible to complete. Other times they are so small they are not worth the lead fee. About 8 of 10 are just the thing for my business. I would suggest using them to get started.

Complete rip off. The app is fine, the business sends you either fake or just all bad leads and refuses to give you credit for them. So if you want to just throw your money away this is the business to do it with.

Home advisory seems to care but there's a lot of things that are out of place. For one there leads always come through home advisory never get a direct contact from customers. Number 2 - the task and description of work are hardly on the same page messing with the cost of leads for contractors. And on top of that home advisory said their leads could cost anywhere from 9 bucks all the way up to about a hundred bucks I never had one cheaper than 17.97. And third thing - I've had customers talk to me and tell me how difficult home advisory website is to use even after all the hundreds of questions they ask you and hard to find contractors directly. I believe it is designed this way to make sure that home advisory gets their lead fees specially since they give their leads out to multiple contractors doubling up on their money if not tripling.

I think they are crooks! I think they steal. They charged me $59.99 each month for the 3 months while I had their "leads" on pause. IT'S A JOKE!

The only downside I'm finding is that about half the leads are not answering. So far it hasn't been an issue to recieve credit for the leads I can't get ahold of, hopefully it stays that way. But on a whole the company provides us with business and helps us grow.

To busy to take leads , cant shut it off fast enough as it turns back on in 2 days after intial first 2 weeks before they charge you more leads , I charge customers more cause of how pricey this is . Need to shut leads off to when i want to turn them back on since i payed for year subscription. (Period). They dont tell you everything before signing up.

The app is easy to use and reply to customers. I had one issue trying to contact the customer with the phone number provided on the app but they also send text messages with customer information. I have been pleased with the service so far. Good app.

It is a great tool to manage jobs. I was told through the Home Adviser Pro Services all about the app and the web site. The app is a quick way for my wife and I to manage jobs.

The app is OK. The Home Avisor business model is implemented poorly. Leads should be better screened but HA can charge 2-5 pros for every lead so they have a disincentive to qualify leads. HA should remember pros are the paying customers. Serving us well should be a priority!

Need to charge less of a fee if the customer only has 1 or 2 items. The fee is the same if I make 10 dollars on the job or 500.00....the add on tv states that home advisor is completely free. So people call thinking my service is free. Worded poorly.

After six years they accidentally changed our account phone number and we received a bad review because of that we have a hundred and sixty reviews on the site and we have one that sticks out because they accidentally change their phone number the customer wasn't ever able to get in contact with us. If you work with Home Advisor keep a very close eye on them

Far too many bad leads come through. They are absolutely terrible at trying to get a refund for the bad leads as well. I started using other sites like thumbtack. They don't try to rip you off like Home Advisor.

Basically there are here to take your money. They send the leads to so many people its hard to get your quote accepted without loosing money. And even when you pause the leads they will just randomly turn them back on so you have to pay for more. And if you think customer service is going to help you.. HA! What customer service? Save your money and get business on your own. I am canceling my account with home advisor
