This will be 2nd time using Home advisor, am hoping it will go as good as.my original project. Easy to use app, virtually does all the work for you.

So far my it complaint is that I clicked through a project to see how easy it would be to set up (and it was easy). But then one of the vendors that I was matched with called me for info (I didn't have a problem with that). I just hated that the vendor was charged by the website. I didn't actually even select the vendor, I just went back to the home search screen. If it were clear to me that by using the "match" step, that the vendor would be charged, I would've stopped at that point.

I'm from Texas and I've broken my front window. My house have double panel windows. I called Home depot, and a contractor came out and tried to charge me $780.90 to fix it! I called another company and they said $1000.00??? This went on for over a year. I recently installed this app after seeing it online. I didn't think that it would work. The first company that I encountered was Hurricane Glass INC here in Houston Texas. They were nice and professional. Two guys came out and measured the glass, and gave a price that was WAY CHEAPER than anyone else! The next week they replaced my window in less than 30 mins. Very neat and professional. I will now have Hurricane Glass Inc on my speed dial. And this app is excellent!

Looked at a few categories/companies and immediately started getting bombarded with sales calls from Home Advisor AND every contractor I looked at. No notice that my info was being sent to everyone. Will delete and never use again!!!

This app makes it super easy to find a trusted service provider to find a solution to any home problem. Only wish would be to have the app schedule a call first before forcing an appointment.

WHAT A MISTAKE BY Downloading app, Buyers BEWARE, HOME ADVISER IS A DATA MINING APP 2START. I downloaded app b4 reading online reviews, I just had a thought of some home improvements, so I opened app n went thru a few pages, don't like giving out all my person info so I used a fake address, w fake email, I DID NOT PUT IN MY PHONE NUMBER BECAUSE I WILL CALL ANY LOCAL CONTRACTORS WHEN I'M READY. WITHIN 15MINS I WAS BEING TX FR 800 Hanson saying they will call me. I don't accept calls after 9pm cause I get up early, they called after 10pm. The next day my phone is being Flooded w calls fr companies that don't even do drain tiles. I DELETED THE APP, WROTE ON FB BOUT THE PUSHIES CALLS WHO I DON'T ANSWER, PLUS I'VE BLOCKED AT LEAST 10 NUMBERS IN 3 DAYS. Their reply is a Canned reply so pay no attention 2 it. I'm calling BBB on Tues n file complaint. Beware ur info is being sold 2 every1, Read All Reviews here and on fb.

Looked into finding local contractor and selected planning and budgeting so not wanting to be contacted. Within 10 minutes I started getting phone calls anyway.

Your pros aren't very professional. One guy never even showed up, not even a return phone call. Still waiting for an estimate from another, it's been a few days now since visiting the property. Won't be using your service again. Will be deleting app.

I submitted a bad review on a contractor but my review was not added. Maybe they want us all to beleive all contractors have great reviews.

Great app! Needs an auto add option for Google calender for appts. Would be nice to have bids sent through the app so you could compare quotes

No problem with the app, but Home Advisor's website posted false advertising on its own website, saying I would receive $50 cash for three completed projects. Horrible customer service from brain dead call center zombies trying to get that resolved. Nobody motivated to solve problems. I won't be back.

Just downld app, searching now for existing porch. Want a patio enclosure. Nice to have this app to find contractors in my area, now I can plan and budget. Thx Home Advisor. Wish me luck with the contractor I chose!!!

So far sobgood. Was very simple finding a local pro and booking appt. Will see how it goes when they show up.

What I can tell you is that service is on point one of the best from your top three options just nothing like its for real!

I used to use HomeAdvisor on my computer. This app makes is so easy to book something on the go.

I don't know what all the negative post is about but I for one love this app my business is booming thank u home advisor

Get ready for the phone calls and emails you'll get after installing this app

They have pre-qualified mechanics for every possible service that I may require. I also love the ease of navigating the app.

I think its great but at the same time its really not looking at the other reviews then I probably wouldn't of downloaded this also good job for responding to even the bad reviews

Thank goodness for this app..We needed our home pressure washed and thanks to Home Advisor we were able to locate someone dependable and very professional to do the job..We will definitely be using you for future projects..

Great app just don't like that contractors call you with out your request.

I have used Home Advisor for work in both FL and PA. The resulting professional matches are always exactly what I need. Every professional I have contacted through Home Advisor has been exceptional, courteous, professional, and a pleasure to work with.

Great to have such a app as this...everything I needed came up on my 1st sesrch.
