TriPlot 3D Graphing for Android
It seems to be good but I'm learning about parametric vector curves atm, which this app doesn't support. Also I couldn't find out from the interface how to change to parameters.
Is it possible to set the variable increment amount? As an example I note if I set z = square root of 1 - x*x - y*y in other words the top half of a sphere it does not draw completely. I appreciate this could take more time to calculate/draw.
Best 3D graphing calculator on Google Play. I especially like how the axis for X Y and Z are labeled with number lines. The only thing I'd like to see in future updates is a larger range/window for graphing (you can make it up to 50 x-max and 50 y-max as of now.) I have been looking for a 3D graphing app that meets my expectations and now the search is over! Very good price too.
Very easy to use and can do a lot. Very useful for my class.
Lightweight and easy. Good for quick visualizations, but has limited range on axes and display, and seems to zoom/rotate the render on (0,0,0) irrespective of the graph or axis range, so seeing detail on one region of one octant is a pain.
Please re-introduce wire frame type for graph.
After the update allowing you to save your functions, this app is the best available for plotting 3D functions. Good UI; great graphs. I have 20 years experience of using 3D plotting apps (Javaview, Grafly, Math Studio etc). This is certainly one of the best available on either Market or iTunes.
UI is fine; graphs are great. Lacks the ability to save your functions after entering them - a "must have".
The recent update makes this app really outstanding. Students of calc iii, budding mathematicians, and even graphics artists would really enjoy using it.This app has the most pleasing visualization of three dimensional objects I have ever used.
Works great
Allows me to visualize graphs in 3 dimensions. It really helps in calculus 3. I couldn't get it to plot parametric lines though, I would really like to see this added but it's not a big deal.
