The World Radio Challenge is a competition among radio stations all over the planet, an event without precedents. Each radio station competes for the performance of the radio talk show with the longest duration and the largest audience. To accomplish this, the Challengers have to follow a set of rules based on the patterns of Guiness World Records for the Longest Radio Talkshow. This should allow the winning station to register it's feat as an official Guiness World Record.

On May 6, 7, 8 and 9 the radiowaves will become a battlefield with hope, eagerness, youth, talent, stregth and energy as weapons. Are you ready?

The project is organized by the World Radio Challenge Association, which already broke the time record in March 2011, carrying out a programme of more than 60 hours duration non-stop, on Inforadio, the campus radio of the Complutense University in Madrid. This time they are challenging the rest of the world to snatch their crown.
