UsbWebCameraPro for Android
Works perfectly with my 7 foot endoscope and galaxy s7 edge
I tried at least a dozen others. this app works flawlessly with my pixel xl / android 7.1 and usb microscope as well as usb otoscope
All features work great. Wish there was simple rotate 90 degrees, but workaround exists by rotating screen to portrait.
Works great with my borescope
All resolutions are 'out of range' doesn't work with Logitech HD Google play doesn't refund. Rip off, beware!
Works flawlessly
App is not working after upgrading to 5.1.1 (Nexus 7). But Nexus 5 is working in 5.1.1! [2015/7/31 updated] Yes, it works after using a USB hub. Thank you very much!
Tried the free one, working great on my Samsung s5 and Samsung tablet so made the jump to paid version with no regrets. I can recommend this.
Image resolution same as free version (640x480) - rather disapointing.
Feature rich, great video options, able to edit brightness, contrast, orientation etc. I use this app with my Logitech C920 webcam and it's perfect. Developer even added a feature that I suggested. This has to be the BEST option out there for otg usb webcam
Why the need for device and call info! I expect a good answer for this and hopefully a change as it is not needed for the use of an inspection cam. As well the interface seems very basic for the paid app I expected more it has crashed a few times to. Using a samsung galaxy s5
Paid for pro version to get higher res, but still the same res as the free version. Also, taking a photo doesn't work. Samsung s3.
The great news is, it works. The bad news is, it looks like its designed in 1980s. A lot of functions just don't make sense, or a lack of documentation. An example: I don't get it why is the preview able to move around? I get it if the preview is zoomed in and u want to move it around, but why enable the moving when its currently fit to screen? Or another example: how about an indication when you have taken a photo? Some notification perhaps? This app has great potential, but they really need a designer.
I am very pleased that I was able to get my Logitech HD Pro Webcam C920 to work with this software. So much that I purchased the Pro version. I had to change the "Priority video mode" option from "Priority MJPEG(default)" to "Priority YUV." When in the "Priority MJPEG(default)" mode the software crashes as soon as I press the record button (for videos or stills). I wish the software allowed for 16:9 aspect ratio. I don't see an option for it. No matter what I change, the recordings still come out 4:3. The camera is capable of 1920x1080 resolution. At least, under Windows. It very well could be a limitation of the device and/or the lack of available software/drivers to support the device using Linux. I ran into similar issues with the camera on my Raspberry Pi. I could get 1920x1080 video out of the device, but only using YUV. I could never get it to work using MJPEG. It would simply display a blank black window. I'm going to be using this as a dash camera. Despite only being able to record in the 4:3 aspect ratio, I am anxious to record some videos using this software! Of all the "USB webcam" apps available in the Google Play store, this is the only one that detected my camera.

Works perfectly on my all winner tablet and my galaxy note 4. Should check the quality of the USB cameras before leaving a poor rating as this is where the problems lie.
The description says it will save videos to "external storage/Movies/UsbWebCamera " but it is storing the video on the internal storage. I don't see a setting to change it to the external storage. Is there a setting that I am not seeing?? Using on a Samsung Galaxy Note 3 with Android 5.0. Otherwise, this is a great app!
Great app for utilising UVC cameras on Android devices. Thanks!
It works just plug can in.
Works perfectly, nice range of controls for colour balance brightness etc.
Awesome product. Works perfectly. Thank you for making this app.
great
ild version more stable, it always force close and useless...

Awesome little app. I use it a Barska Digital Microscope on my Galaxy Note 4. Awesome. The app fires up on its own when I connect the microscope with an OTG cable. It corrects the inverted nature of digital microscopes.

Awesome
This is the answer to all my prayers. Running rooted N7 2013 Wifi with Logitech c905 and Timur's kernel and 5.02. It has been a journey but it works very well if your N7 is connected to the Internet to check app license.
I tried the free version and it worked with my camera, then I bought the paid version and it keeps force closing when I plug in my camera. After that I tried the trial version again and now that's force closing! [Galaxy S4 Verizon 4.4.2]
Only oddity is that it keeps telling me "insufficient space" on my N5 - but records anyways :)
I Tried it... then Bought it... Great Job Guys! ***** Works sweet on both my Galaxy s5 and Galaxy s 8.4 Tablet!
Force closed!
I'm using this on a Samsung Galaxy Note (Android 4.4.2) and able to capture at 2592x1944 resolution on the Supereyes B005+ and A005 5.0MP USB microscopes. I really like that it has the ability to capture both mpeg and yuv2 format video. Both of these cameras have been interfaced with the Startech OTG micro usb cable. For whatever reason I'm having trouble getting it to work on my Nexus 5 which was recently updated to Android 5.0.1. I can't seem to get either camera to work which had previously worked with no issues. So I just tried both the Supereyes B005+ and A005 5.0MP USB microscopes and Vividia UM07 2.0MP USB endoscope on my Nexus 7 (2nd gen. with Android 5.0.2 and I'm getting a force close issue). Serenegiant is so responsive! They responded to my comment and asked me to send them more specifics so they could debug the app! Talk about A++++ service!
Have tried nearly every USB camera app and none of them work. This one does, I have nexus 7 and Microsoft lifecam studio, tablet has been newly updated to android 5.0.2. If I could kiss the app creator I would. Thanks very much.
Been lookin for an app to use snakecam on my android. This app let me do that.
This app worked 1st time with my USB snake cam while others failed. Dev is responsive and fixed bug promptly when an update broke it on SG Note3.
Has all the features that I wanted!! Looks great on the Note 4
I downloaded this to my unrooted Nexus 7 (2nd gen), in order to connect an external USB webcam through the micro USB port, using an OTG adapter cable. Not working - As soon as I launch the App, it give a message saying license cannot be confirmed, and immediately crashes. Support not responsive. Waste of money. Don't buy.
While other apps crashed, this worked perfectly for multiple external USB camera types including a cheap USB borescope and an ASUS monitor's built-in webcam. The excellent setting and image tuning options caused me to select this app for purchase over Plug 'n' Snap which had a more crisp and clean user interface.

Is it me or can't you state where images and recordings are saved/stored to. I wish to save everything to external SD.
