Sentio Desktop for Android
The desktop experience is unbelievable for an Android phone. I have tried other similar app in the past but the level of polish here is really top notch. Fantastic job and looking forward to future release.
The app pack does not recognize this version of the desktop.
Really liking it. Would do so much more on another phone through, xiaomi blocks a lot of the features
How do i connect this to my laptop and make my laptop as main screen?
I am 100% amazed! Your apps are so far ahead of anyone else developing the same thing!!!! Thank you for your hard work!!!!! Anyway of possibly having a donate version? Will gladly donate!!!!!!!!
Fantastic so far but really need the Superbook to verify. The 5 star is for the potential and anticipated awesomeness :)
Unfortunately, this launcher/app does not activate when the home button is pressed (instead your default launcher will display), icons are muddled when coming back to this app (after pinning them to the homescreen) and most apps cannot be windowed. Not ready for general use on my Galaxy Note 8, using Samsung Dex Dock.
You really need to fix the Android O settings. Never going to get off the ground if you have to manually mod settings.
This is great on my Samsung note 8. clean and beautiful new design
Can't wait to receive the superbook to verify
Fantastic app, cant wait for more
The desktop environment is great! IT's definitely better than the old version, but I have lost the app capacity. Am I missing something? I can't find the sentio optimized apps, and I REALLY need them, especially the web browser. The screenshots advertizing the apps show a desktop browser, calendar, and alot of multiwindow optimized apps, but I have none, and they sure aren't in settings. Are they for a future update or something? Great job, but it's somewhat buggy, has the missing features above, and I'm not sure you can fix this, but it would be nice if the app borders were alot smaller and we could put websites in web app like form on the desktop and toolbar.
Love this app. This, working with the Sentio Superbook, will make editing documents and emails so much easier and more rewarding task.
Awesome job on this!
"Don’t worry, you can always exit Sentio by looking at the Task Bar, clicking the Settings icon, and clicking Logout." Unfortunately, this hasn't been worked out yet. After multiple attempts of seeing the closing sunset scene and then immediately returning to the Sentio desktop, the only thing that would let me escape the Sentio environment was the Task Bar> Setting Icon> Settings> "Force closing Sentio Desktop - use in case of emergency!" This should be a key feature found on the start button "power down Sentio" similar to the power button on regular desktops start buttons. For this to be a functional addition to my workflow, I need a smooth interchange between environments. For a minute there, it felt like this app hijacked my phone. Samsung 7 Edge
Incredible. The experience has gotten a lot smoother over the past couple of months. I absolutely love the new animations, and sometimes I just log out and log back in to see them again… Multi window mode works great. A step closer in making my smartphone the only computer I own. Thanks!
Doesn't detect installed sim card
Great! Option for Default window size.
Having issues finishing set up, enable resizing apps but app won't move past that step. Sony Xperia XZ Premium.
App is great, but there should be a way to make the minimize button disappear when in fullscreen mode. It's really orange and yellow and annoying. How about it disappeared when in idle for about 10sec and reappear when the mouse/keyboard is touched/moved.
Overall very good, but a few things could need more options. I cannot find a proper way to disable the orange close button which overlaps app buttons in fullscreen mode and it annoyingly does not let me select things. A reboot does not seem to auto launch sentio despite following the instructions on the sentio blog. I do not want the desktop to disappear 'so i can better focus' on the running multiwindow app. a option toggle for that would be nice. there is no power menu built into the launcher though taskbar launcher and small apps like button savior non root version can bring it up with a click which is convenient for atom based cherry trail devices as the power/suspend can be erratic at times.
This is a game changer - developers clearly put a lot of effort into it and while there's still lots of room for improvement, the state-of-the-art is already superb. It really transform your smartphone into a fully capable laptop. Kudos
This is amazing! The desktop experience works just like it would on a full blown laptop. Chrome works great in tablet mode as does everything else. Looking forward to the Superbook!
Design and fluidity is much better than the previous sentio app. Could be optimized in fluidity when home button is pressed and also sometimes in full screen mode, touches are misaligned
I got into this app because of the Superbook I am waiting to get one in my hands from the kick started campaign. This app works great as a launched just on my phone screen. If you like a desktop experience get this app immediately. Best ever desktop experience on a phone. Connect it to a screen, mouse and keyboard to have a real desktop experience with all the goodness of Android Apps backed right in.
Won't let me get past the first step after activating developer mode on my Sony Xperia XZ Premium with Android 8.0
It takes what you know about desktop computing and adds what you know about mobile and syncs them in a way you never knew was possible.
I've seen this desktop mode come a long way. A lot of work went into this.
Looks amazing!!!
Wow this app blew me away for what I thought was possible for android. It's pretty, simple and functional and impressed the amount of effort that went into this. There are a couple annoyances and differences to normal desktops but I think those are due to android limitation. This works extremely well with a keyboard and mouse, and once you really get into it, I really think this would replace desktops for a lot of people.
Really beautiful app. It took me a while to explore all of the features, but it became super useful after I also installed the File Explorer app. Great job guys!
A real beautiful desktop experience with awesome animations and design! Perfect for productivity without the hustle of switching between multiple devices just to get the simple things done. I LOVE IT
The best desktop launcher for Android!
This app is really cool
Getting better and more stable with each new version
"Hijacked my home button and my home screen without asking." Ok. I overreacted a bit. It wasn't obvious what "make this a launcher" meant. Should say Replace android home screen." And the exit button or menu needs to be more visible. Otherwise it works without crashing. Will re-review when superbook arrives.
I was pretty harshly critical of Sentio Desktop as it did not work well at all on my phone. I gave early versions 1 star. Eventually someone from Sentio responded to my comment and said all my problems were due to the newer version of Android I had and that an update to better support would come along. Ok I get that, so I upped it to 3 stars, even if nothing changed. Recently I tried it again and it was looking better. And at this point I'm seeing something closer to what I had hoped for originally. It is definitely functional, behaving well, and worthy of 5 stars now. It has come a long long long way.
After setting up my Bluetooth mouse and keyboard to Pixel C tablet with Sentio - I was able to use the device as a computer! Super convenient carrying it around and have full capacity to reply to emails/finish work items efficiently.
One of the most innovative and useful app on Google Play, can't live without it. This is the only one app that you'll need on your phone

Love it but having some issues with this version. The taskbar is an overlay and doesn't have dedicated screen real-estate. Samsung Multi window overrides the default sentio window compositor which means no minimise or close as in your tuts. Also when sentio is set as default launcher, pressing the home button when just the sentio desktop is showing results in the sentio taskbar hiding with no way to bring it back. Please fix this. Would consider getting the Superbook.
