Each new version delivers less and after several direct contacts, latest problems of vetsion 7.2 not resolved and favourites don't work. Disappointing and may not renew. Sad end.
The ability to define your favourite offences , pronouncements, etc has gone. You now have to plough through them all to find the one you want. Progress if think not! Promises to address problem not kept. Starting to regret renewing subscription.
Updated version (7.2) crashes when you you try to open the favourites folder.
I am delighted with the app. Use it in court all the time now. Latest version has useful PACE codes and criminal procedure rules
Updated version crashes when you open the fines calculator. Obviously not helpful doing that in court as that is one of the main reasons for using this app
Should be very useful but it's very unstable on a Note 10.1 and it feels like a slightly clumsy port from the Apple stable. For all that it's a reasonable effort for which I'm grateful.
I found some functions missing on Android application compared to iTunes copy. For instance, Purchase does not seem to exist in Android platforms. I was particularly disappointed when I couldn't upload CPS vs Picton(2006) via search
Used it for 18 months very easy, great app
Wouldn't go back to carting around all those heavy folders
An excellent app and soo much easier than carrying bench books around!
I am so pleased with this app. Not only is it easier to carry into court but it's simple to navigate and it's quicker to find things. I still find the fine calculator a problem but everything else is really easy and it saves time and space. I wouldn't be without it now!
Too many freezes and crashes.

This app is excellent in every way and negates the need to carry the paper versions into court in a wheelbarrow. I have had an issue with the latest update but following an email to support this was resolved within half an hour. An excellent app and excellent support.
Not bad on Samsung galaxy S3 mini can't wait for my new tablet to arrive.
My previous comments were very quickly addressed. An excellent app
Why does the favourite folder clear on each update ? This means having to add all of your most used offences pages again each time.
This app no longer works. Even the search facility doesn't work since the previous update.
I am using a Samsung Note 10.1. I have reloaded the App twice. The programme just is not stable. As soon as you hit Fav, the whole freezes. Could not possibly use it in Court
I run this on my note 2 and it is great. No need to carry my other tablet. Fits in the pocket, it is super fast and easy to use.
New Archos 101xs, downloaded the app as I'd seen it on another tablet. only played so far but it looks superb, used the favorites, easy to navigate, you can move quickly and easily between relevant calculators and it is already evident that it is so much easier than the books ! Nice one Ambay - you just need to persuade HMCS to pay for it now !
So much easier than the heavy folder I used to have to carry in and out of court. Some of the "extras" like the speeding app are also very useful. Well worth the money. Easy to use even on a small tablet.
Soooo much easier than lugging all those court books around. Everything in one place, and updated whenever changes are made..... which is so frequent these days ! Money well spent as long as your screen size is large enough to display nicely.
This is a fantastic app. No need to lug the sentencing guidelines into court, or have to search round trying to find an up-to-date copy. I'm new to Android but found the app easy to install and navigate. I had a query which Nick resolved immediately. Highly recommended.
Failed to open after one hour
Very helpful in court.
I'm now confident enough not to need to carry bench books into court. You do need to put effort into understanding the logic of the layout but it is well rewarded, particularly as the search function will find more information than you'll find easily in a bench book. The support from Nick Harrington is second to none, quick replies and every possible effort made to resolve issues. AJR
Only just been appointed so thought this may be useful after I first saw the files! Had a play with it and am very impressed. The ability to prepare for a sitting by putting the relevant info on the favourites screen for 1 touch navigation and reference will be invaluable and save lots of time and embarassment. Also, top marks for spelling favourites correctly!
No more lugging great tomes into Court. Nice app and well supported. Runs very well on the Nexus 7, just a shame we have to subsidise the Courts by paying for it ourselves.
I have just downloaded this app (to help me in my role as a magistrate) onto my new ASUS TF101 which runs using Android 4.01 ICS. I felt it was very easy to install and, despite me being somewhat of a Dumbo sometimes with technology, it has so far felt quite intuitive to use. Also, in all my dealings with Nick at Ambay Software I have found him to e friendly and both 100% supportive and profession. Thanks Nick. I look forward to a long and fruitful working relationship with you.
ideal for the new ABC
Does all it claims to
Works well on my Nook tablet. Some bugs need fixing
I'm running this fine on a Samsung Galaxy S2 (2.3.4) and Advent Vega (Vegacomb 3.2). Nick was very quick to fix an initial snag and this app continues to keep everything running smoothly in those quick-fire CJSSS sessions. Great purchase.
