About Sensory Processing Therapy Routines – SensoryTreat

SensoryTreat was designed by parents of children with Sensory Processing Disorder and in conjunction with professional advice from over 60 occupational therapists around the world with specific expertise in Sensory Processing Disorder and Autism.

NOTE: The SensoryTreat app is part of a professional therapy platform for pediatric therapy carryover. It requires setup by a therapist using a professional interface. Caregivers can invite their kid’s occupational therapist, speech therapist, physical therapist, psychologist, etc. to join the platform free of charge. Therapists can easily build daily routines for caregivers to get through the SensoryTreat app.

NOTABLE FEATURES
- Over 100 easy-to-follow activity illustrations color coded by sensory system.
- Activity notifications and reminders helping parents manage their child’s home program.
- Teachers, TAs and special education professionals can use the app to manage the child’s intervention plan during day-care, preschool and school hours.
- Therapists can add their own content (images and videos) and coach parents and teachers through the therapist system.
- Each activity can be assigned a time and a daily child routine (such as morning / bedtime routines, in class / recess etc.).
- Designed to work online and offline. Caregivers can continue to use the app even when located in areas with poor internet connectivity.
- Sync with the therapist’s system via WiFi or Data.

FREE TRIAL
The app comes with a 2 weeks’ free trial after-which a monthly subscription needs to be purchased.
The subscription can be purchased either by the therapist using the therapist system, or by the caregivers through the app (Google Play).
The cost varies by the number of months, for example a yearly subscription costs $5.99 per month. The app supports auto renewal that can be managed through Google Play. The cost is per therapy program, not per device, so every subscription can be used by multiple caregivers using both Android and iOS smartphones (subject to version differences across app stores).

SensoryTreat protects your private health data securely. Tablets and some mobile devices may not be supported. Treat requires Android OS 4.2 or above.

It wouldn't let me as a therapist sign up even though I reloaded the page !multiple times. This app also would not let me use my Gmail for another client. Installing this is a waste of time.

How to log in? I've already signed up but when I log in with the email tht i used when I registered, it is always said wrong email or password.

Q70%
by Q####:

Cant log in. Invitation only?

N70%
by N####:

Its not really free app. Its a trial for 14 days then they ask you to purchase it. I pay enough for my sons therapies and such. Looking for actually free resources to use at home is near impossible.

N70%
by N####:

If you miss an activity there is no way to go back and do the exercise. Not user friendly. I want a refund.

Q70%

Every time I install and open,it crashes.

This would be a great app that I would love to have if I didn't have to pay for it. My child was recently diagnosed with SPD and I was so happy to find this app until it asked for me to pick a subscription plan.

This is such a great concept...but i would never pay that much. Families with children who would need this type of app, already have enough expenses medically etc. Why would you charge for this??!

M70%
by M####:

How do I delete the free subscription on an android phone app? I am not paying for it.

Z70%
by Z####:

This app would be an AMAZING resource if I didn't have to pay a subscription. It would be one thing to purchase the app once, but to have to pay 35.99 each year!!! My child has Sensory Processing Disorder and this will not be helpful....because it isn't something that is "cured" and is something she will have to manage throughout her life, I would have to pay 35.99 a year until she is old enough to manage these things on her own. NO WAY! I am pretty disappointed.

Z70%
by Z####:

Any professional will tell you that it takes more than 7 days to know if your special needs child will positively respond to this app making the free trial useless. Don't bother downloading.

X70%
by X####:

THANKS NOW I CAN USE IT BUT NEED TO FIX IT MORE COZ ITS NOT USER FRIENDLY, AND UNFORTUNATELY ITS ONLY A 7DAY TRIAL... HOW SAD... PLEASE IF U REALLY WANT TO HELP MORE PLS HELP US PARENTS WITH CHILD/CHILDREN WITH THAT CASES... YOU ALWAYS ASKING FOR MONEY :(

This is just an advert. Shame it is not available on Andriod. It looked to be exactly what I needed.

Please let consumers know before installing that the app hasn't been created yet! The pictures and description are misleading! I thought I finally found a perfect, dedicated app for my SN son only to be disappointed. Once it is fixed I will give a better rating.
