So far it's great, have tried others with little success. Added widget to Active key on my S6, just push the button and speask. After a few days of use, this app is by and far the best voice dialer, as Google Assistant has been a failure for me. Upgraded to 5 stars

Installed "Voice Dial" app on Feb 4, 2017 to use with a UClear Bluetooth Helmet headset. Initial testing showed a need to go into the menu and adjust the accuracy level and call delay before dialing because the app was not always finding the correct contact. Once the adjustments were made the app functioned properly. On my Motorola Moto G LTE phone with Android 5.1 operating system, the app works properly in the background so I can have the display off and the phone in my pocket and Voice Dial calls.

So far it seams to be pretty good at recognizing contacts but it won't even let me finish speaking a number before returning something that's not even close. I would also like a trigger that's shorter than hello blue genie.

Only works when open in foreground. What use is a "hands free" app that you have to use your hands to open?

Didn't work with my Bluetooth dial button. Forces you to day "hello blue genie" to make calls. Kind of ridiculous.

Before I got this app, I struggled trying to voice dial when driving using my Galaxy Note 5. If I said Call Dave B., it would tell me I had 5 contacts with Dave in their name, and I'm like, I know that, just call the contact stored as Dave B. Using this app I just say, Hello Blue Genie Call Dave B and it calls him. Now I love my phone again.

Nice, BUT! Waiting for it to activate by a press of the Bluetooth headset button. This is what is needed for driving (and for me, motorcycle riding) handsfree safety. (BTW, I'd gladly pay for that.)

When the app is started, it does, indeed, recognise contact names that the stock dialer on my ZTE ZMAX pro can't deal with. But after i end the first call i make, i have to manually restart the app to make another.

It just won't recognize Spanish name when you tried to call it come with something else and it get annoying when it won't recognize the name

Samsung Note 3 voice dialer is horrible and requires a solid internet connection to even get the marginal functionality it offers. This completely fixes it and its totally hands free. This is a geat replacement and its now my default voice dialer. Great App!

I tried making handsfree calls while the App was in the background but it wouldnt work. The ONLY time it worked was when I opened the App and had it displayed on my screen. I installing from my Note 5 and continuing my search for a TRUE handsfree Bluetooth dialer
