Aircraft Horizon Free for Android
It doesn't detect tilts and thinks coordinated turn as a horizontal flight, and acceleration as a pitch up.
Popup annoying message to upgrade every 7 seconds. Uninstalled. Sensorworks never again!
Liked it!
Simple & effective
Nice
Nice
Works perfect on the ground for demonstration purposes or early training. Not in the air, because if you are in a 2G turn for example, it will think the direction of the G force is down. This is no fault of of the software, and people who complain are idiots. Obviously your phone doesn't have a gyroscope spinning inside it like a real attitude indicator.

I'm using this with my nexus 5 and I have NO problems whatsoever. I actually use this, believe it or not, when I'm shooting video on my DSLR, since my model is not high end enough to have an in built horizon. Helps SOOO much to be able to check if my camera is level on my rig on the fly. The high contrast colours make it perfect for quick comprehensive checks without taking too much focus off my video when recording.
Really, really nice presentation and works great. Best on market! Look no further. Will be buying paid version. Thanks developer!
It does not show attitude, in stead it shows acceleration. When making a turn in my aeroplane it shows me as upright while banking at a steap angle.
Im impresded with accuracy & sensitivity of app

This artificial horizon does not work in an aircraft and is only practical for use in 2 dimensional space. ie on the ground
Very awesome...
Fun to play with. Do not try rely on it it in a plane. It will stay level in turns as it is not gyro operated
Seems to only use gravity, not gyros.
great
Awesome!
Great..
Good very good
Cool! Yeah it responds to centrifugal force but it's on a phone! I think it's awesome. Nice work!
Does not work as an artificial horizon, it responds to centrifugal forces and acceleration, an artificial horizon does not, sorry!
Super cool ... Works great
As free apps go, its does what it says on the tin, plus no over powering advertising, which is nice,
This app does one job very well - the horizon display is rendered very smoothly at 55 FPS on my Desire Z. Great use of sensors which makes it feel like a physical instrument. Nice!
Thanks. =D buying full.
Soooooo smooth and really accurate. Well done!
not my thing tho
Works very smoothly on Galaxy Nexus. Looking forward to more features being implemented.
Does what it says and does it nicely enough
Really had high hopes but absolutely no roll information using a Galaxy s4 in a Piper Vagabond.
This is the first app that I actually paid for and had very high hopes! I even went and got a Nexus (it has gyros). fitted a mount to the aircrafts panel so it had a firm base and fired it up. It suffers badly from acceleration / deceleration, will not give a true horizontal hold, bottom-line, It does not work! it uses the accelerometer but not the gyro's and therefore does not work in flight. Pity as this would have been good.
An accident with a cotton bud left my sense of balance ruined. This app has changed my life! I use it everyday to stay upright and walk straight. When I get my pilot's licence I have no doubt it will become even more of a life saver!
Nice on the ground but useless in flight because gravity force vector always points to the bottom of the aircraft.
Works great on Android Smart Phone
Nice app...works
Saw in a sailing magazine a waterproof ipad case! Om my. So these are the new avionics huh? Theres no purpose, maybe make it a widget or live screensaver? Thatd be even cooler in my jeep. Cool toy and much more accurate then the stupid compasses. Perfect and flawless, almost real it seems

What a waste of time does not work in the air with Galaxy S7 which has every sensor known . MAKES SENSOR WORKS AN ABSOLUTE JOKE
