Marco Polo - Find Your Phone

As a party trick, this is a cute app, but it won't work to find your device unless you turn it on and keep it running and stay within 15 feet of the device

I agree, It probably would be fun if it work. I also have a HTC one.

Never worked when I tested it from many feet away. (200 ft) so how is it supposed to work if I can't find it!

The app only works when it's open. Which of course it wouldn't be if you lost your phone. Great concept, terrible execution.

It worked a couple of times then I'd hear "Polo"... "Polo" repeated over and over during a phone conversations. I uninstalled it, reinstalled it and sadly I'm going to uninstall - again. Had I rated this the first time I used it l would have given it a 5! I hope this app gets tweaked.

The idea is awesome. Problem is, it only works if the app is open and you have to be inches from the phone for it to even hear you. What good is a find your phone app when you lose your phone and the app needs to be open for it to work? Who opens an app when you set your phone down? You don't know you're going to lose it at that point. I know the app was only .99 cents but I've downloaded free apps that work better. Disappointed.

It would be nice if the app ran silently, to be used when you need it. How many of us turn on an app when we put down our phone? We don't prepare to lose things. Also works when it wants. Seriously could be a cool thing if worked right.

If it doesn't work when the app isn't open what is the point of the app? Worst 1$ I ever spent.

Initializing . . . forever.

I just downloaded it today, I have an HTC ONE and it works fine. It said Polo a couple of times without me saying Marco that's the only issue I've found

Loved the idea but the execution is non-functional. It often doesn't doesn't work when you say Marco and it often does work when you're just having a normal conversation without mentioning Marco. It was going off every 3 seconds while listening to a podcast.

It doesn't work unless the app is running and active (on screen).

It needs a way to return to the pollo reply after using a sound and a way to import sounds. Read about it in popular science and gave it a try nice work!

It down doesn't often respond when called. Cool idea tho. I'm looking forward to future updates with improvements to the meat and potatoes.

This app won't find your phone because it doesn't work unless it's turned on! I'm uninstall it!

The idea is great but the execution is absolutely horrible. Unfortunately you need to press play in order for this app to listen for your keyword (Marco), however the phone only actually listen for the first few seconds. What good is that? Am I going to lose my phone 2 seconds after pressing play on my phone's potential finder? There is no way that anyone is going to end up finding their phone with this app. If they do it would be a major shock. Massive, massive, massive updates and new plan required!!!

The app puts my HTC one in silent mode for some reason. Unfortunately, it doesn't work on standby. The phone has to be activated (screen on) to work.

What the heck! Says recognizer not found! What recognizer does it need? And why are the supported models not listed?
