On every device I have, the app crashes after pairing and while trying to get it to find my WiFi router. It used to work just fine but since the last update it consistently craps out. Really, you should port this thing to HTML and not limit this to mobile drvices.
Got a Nexus 5x with Nougat (7.1.2) and the app would not allow me to register ("network abnormal")... BUT, their phone tech support guy was super knowledgeable, friendly, patient and helpful, which made the iffy experience go away.
Keeps shutting down when I want to watch a video, this sucks
The App needs improvements in myltiple categories, I have never received notifications, I've even contacted sengled support regarding this issue. Playback is glitchy and typically requires me to go to the clip, tap play, back out and find the clip again and click play before it will actually play. Frustrating
Notification and light settings randomly choose to work or not. Most of the time not. Cannot copy or download any images or video. Cannot use device without paying subscription scam. Totally misleading product won't interface with any other smart home products.
I am quite disappointed to find out that I had to pay for the cloud service beyond the first 30 days. I chose this light/camera because it could be used outside and it was wireless without the need for batteries. I will be returning this camera and telling my own customers not to purchase unless they intend on spending more every month.
I didn't know I have to pay after a month. No alert is given.i can't be on the phone 24/7 viewing my camera.its useless .if any one is buying this snap bulb camera.please do review.
Worst bait and switch I've ever seen after the 175$ paying for a light that doesn't clearly say there will be cost involved with maintaining this camera /bulb and it's not cheap. If you intend on making this cam/bulb useless without making people aware of those costs your crooks! I will be returning my bulb for a refund! And then I'm gonna tell anyone who will listen!
I normally don't write reviews on apps or products but this is app is not reliable. The camera is awesome. Video quality is clear and audio works as intended, but app does not work correctly.

Its the best thing going for the money
No option to rotate camera. Doesn't always connect even when standing right next to it. Why can't videos be saved to local or other storage? Intercom is muffled. Could be great but just misses out on key points.
I will be conducting full investigation into this company. I will also be asking the feds to look into Singled. I bought several for my clients and having to find out there are other expensive cost involved was a surprise. Sams Club should be ashamed selling this merchandise and take away their vendor privileges to sell at Sams.
Couldn't even get the red light to come on for setup. Frustrating product. Returning to Sam's Club tomorrow. Didn't know about hidden costs listed on these reviews. I will not be getting a new one.
Just a free trial for the software..If I knew I have to pay for the app n cloud services I wouldn't of bought the product.
Noticing alerts are working and now able to delete videos. Nice improvement in a short time!
Overall the lights are working fine. If they can allow user to choose focus point and adjustable motion sensetivity would be nice. (The camera will focus on whatever close to it. When it installed close to wall, you can see pattern from thr work but not someone passing by the camera. A heavy rainfall or a snow flake can trigger the notification from the motion sensor.)
The app & the bulb works OK. It needs some improvements to make it work even better. 1. Push Notification don't work even when the zone is created and enabled. 2. The video compression is not tuned to capture license plate and numbers. I have a car parked right in front with video set to 1080p or 720p, and it still can't see the number from the video even when zoomed. 3. Cloud is too expensive for multiple lights. 4. No multiple users support for family setup.
Camera and lightning are good. The app. is not what they say it is. Would not buy another one.
First they had server issues, i had to climb to all 4 cameras i got and manually reset it (can i sue them if i fall from ladder in process?). Then constant "unavailable" moments. Now "sign in timed out". No option to view from anywhere but phone. Honestly - if you read it before buying - just dont. Hardware may be ok, but software.. Wait until someone come out with better working solution,. This one is just -broken. I will not buy anything from that company ever again.
Still broken! Going on months now... light timers STILL will not function properly after most recent update to firmware and app. Timers broken, will not let you edit. Get a message SAVE FAILED when trying to pick the on/off times. Need to go in and manually turn lights on every time. Plus now I have to sign in every time I open the app! What is going on!?! Please fix! Great product when it works, problem is it hardly ever works the way it's supposed to.
Have not been able to make the light schedule work since I've owned the two I have. When I open the app it makes me sign in every time now. Or it times out and says server is not available Many glitches and issues need to be addressed
Setup was easy. Lights need a motion activated light feature with time constraints so it works like my Sengled Smartsense lights. I'd like to have the ability to have this happen at night if motion is detected (ir). It is a floodlight that doesn't activate Customer service is on the ball and very helpful. However, there is a great disparity between their documentation and their website. The pricing model seems to be VERY expensive but they are changing it. Ideally it should match or beat the Nest in price.
Didnt know about cloud storage til it ran out and dont know how to get more.
I just got this and I really liked it but the next morning I tried to sign in it keeps saying timed out. Now I can't sign in, I don't know what to do
This camera detects every little bug and so it sends me an email of a detection like every 10 minutes to where we finally turned email notifications off as it was becoming very annoying. I tried to change the setting on the zones but it doesn't make a difference. They said they were coming out with a software update to fix this. 6 months later this is still a problem. I do NOT recommend buying this camera. I should have taken it back when I had the chance but I believed them when they said the update for that will be out soon. Total BS.
Ever since the last update Snap has completely stopped working on my Samsung Galaxy Tab 4. If I could hook them up to my own network I wouldn't have this problem. I do NOT recommend these. At all. They suck.
Ever since they did a firmware update you now can't control any features on the snap. Other then that the snap is a great item and works well. But not worth $179. I would rate it at around $80. It looks like they fixed the problem very quickly 4 stars is the best I can do. I like the Mic is a good FEATURE but person can't talk back too you.
Still has a hard time detecting people. Sometimes it works sometimes it doesnt
If you don't want to pay the monthly fee. Just download the videos to your phone or tablet.

lack of features on app UI. there should be a filter if what time you wanna watch those replays, cuz its hard to scroll down the list just to check those 1am 2am 3am and so on time frame.
Everything is working again after a major outage. Only thing still broken is the light timers. When they turn on the brightness defaults to 0%. Need to go in and manually turn them on every time. Please fix.
Nice product if it worked asks for wifi,yes I have selected my wifi put in password then says will not open due to no password there is for my wifi. DAM camera there should be a option to select wifi with or without out password. Going to return the three of bought at Lowe's .Fix This ISSUE.
I mainly use it to make sure my garage door is closed but is also handy because it notifies me when there's movement in the settable motion zones. I now have 3 of them set up.
When I crowdfunded this device, I thought the app would notify me when motion was detected, that was the whole reason I bought it. This app doesn't have that option, extremely disappointed. Feels like a bait amd switch.
Snap led the best little gaget ever .very cleverly put togeather.
