I recently purchased a quad core MXQ Android set top box. I owned an earlier model that turned out to be garbage. When I received my MXQ box, Kodi was pre-loaded and the video playback was horrible. In fact, it was unwatchable. I retired the MXQ box to my closet and came across this app. I thought, "Might as well give it a shot." I uninstalled Kodi, installed SPMC, and the box now plays to perfection. Thank you.

I currently have this downloaded on my android box and cannot rate it enough it is excellent and never fails especially using the Genesis add on. An amazing app cannot fault it.

I love this version of kodi, but it would be great if the newest version was uploaded here. I use it on my nexus player, and that way it would be pushed to it automatically. Keep up the great work!

Running very well on my old android device which is not supported by original kodi.

3d half ou and tab should be supported. i am using mrockchip. so i could not hear surround sound with official kodi. but this @wesome app changed all. great!!! and thx alot!!!

This customized version of XBMC/Kodi works very well across different chipsets. Especially on the Rockchip devices, it works better than original with tweaks! Great job. It needs an update to 15.x!!!

Crashes on my ASUS ZenFone 2. Scrapers work but as soon as the media starts to play SBMC crashes every time. Uninstalled.

every time i remove spmc from my kodi box (mxq) the app spmc goes away but soon as i turn of my mxq box and turn it back on from the mains the spmc re installs it self onto my box, is there anyway to remove this rubbish

I'm not new to XBMC so I can honestly say SPMC is great. I love the fact you can transfer it to your external memory which I could never do with XBMC. Fusion added easily and no major issues. Works better in my opinion.

This is the best app ever you could do so much with it very interesting. Whoever wants to know anything about this app go to youtube. SPMC and ask what you want to know there's so much that you could do with it, if you can I find Genesis, put SPMC install Genesis on youtube.

I love using this on my Android TVs. So much more convenient than having to update other versions and reset all of your settings each time.

Idk which addons to add to this, things i usually use on kodi dont work on this, it's great i have some sort of kodi on my old 4.1.1 tablet, but is there a way i could make anything other than cartoon addons to work???

Installed on rock chip RK3188 android TV box. Everything is fine except spdif pass through is not working. Any fix for this. Thanks.

This forked project is much better than the official kodi because the dev made it lighter weight than the official, thus allowing it to run on my HTC One m8 and cast to my big screen at the same time. The official version is too bloated and takes too much ram to run and cast at the same time. Thank you dev!

This runs so quickly on my Desire C, it HAS to be witchcraft - even my file explorer isn't this perky. SPMC functions exactly like Kodi should, installing add-ons and browsing local files is a breeze. I'd give it 6 stars if it used the Android native keyboard instead of the on-screen kodi keyboard. Unparalleled excellence, imho.

This all works well so long as you change the video acceleration to software from hardware. Unfortunately it does lead to the video being choppy - probably because of the additional strain on the CPU. If it could be patched to make it compatible with the hudl2 it would get 5 stars. (When hardware acceleration selected -libstagefright and MediaCodec - the all self closes as soon as play back starts

Needs fixing. ...kodi the real one is 100% more reliable. ....what a fake waste of time...do not download. ..disappointed for sure.....thought i would give it a go but a waste of my data.....if you are going to copy something then do it properly. .....not even one star....its a minus 5 star....rubbish. ...

Love this app great build by the dev runs a lot better than kodi xbmc smoother faster no hickups so far just smoothness .. Excellent work dev keep up the great work

How do you get to watch films on phone through this? Android box works fine with genesis on it but can't seem to find it on this is there anything I can do to get it?

I have the HPH FO N6 from Nagrace, based on the Rock Chip RK3288 the Mali T764, 4GB Ram, 32GB eMMC Storage, HDMI @ 1080P IN and OUT @ v2.0 4k... I could go on, but the purpose is that XBMC / KODI is not the problem with Android, it's Android... Don't get me wrong, I love the whole idea, but Android is not optimized for this program... Android is meant for smaller apps and not these huge programs... Most all Android TV Boxes or devices are barely stable and they put a GUI of their own on top that's barely optimized to run on the OS... Android is perfect for OTG On The Go situations and maybe someday they will optimize the Android System to run these huge programs, until then, I really suggest getting the Raspberry PI 2 and install either OSMC or OpenELEC, I promise you happiness...

Easy set up with help on tv builds from youtube but no picture showing on my sony phone, just sound. Any ideas people? Thanks

on my Tablet Toshiba and Samsung Galaxy S3 it saved me cause Kodi stopped working on my Tablet. There are a few addons who do not work but the most importent ones work on it. Great software.

Soo old still XBMC! Stable Kodi is 15.2. This is 13.4! Has this been abandoned.

very good video performance with rk3288 [much better than kodi 15.2 which stops every second to breath] but audio pass through, using measy b4s [rk3288] is broken. i can only hear hiss. without passthrough the sound is good. tried using both toslink and HDMI outputs without success [dolby digital audio].kodi can handle audio, with poor video, and you can handle video without audio.please unfork projects..

Ok to get the movies on Kodi you have to use the configuration app what app do you use for this one? The Kodi one doesn't work on this ?

Been googling forever to find out why nextpvr pvr client addon is sayinf no tuner available on my samsung gt-8010 note tablet. Channel guide and everything else using nextpvr client addon. Just no access to the tuner itself so I can watch tv on my tablet.

Just the same desktop version that's impossible to use on a mobile without the aid of a magnifying glass. And there's the omission of larger text option in Settings, which make this completely non-dedicated to Android users.

Made an awesome App work in my 1st gen Tab 10.1. Now I can watch this bleeding edge technology, revolutionize the future of home entertainment into something we could only once dream about until this "miracle" of watching television was spawned from the desire of wanting it all... and wanting it now.......Or maybe "It's pretty cool!" Would better describe what happend?

For all practical purposes,works exactly like the xbmc.the flexibility and scalability of xbmc platform is unparalelled. using xbmc in raspi (raspbian) and desktop( win7), got greedy and wanted it for my phone. spmc is the only option currently for android. Also installed this on banana pro running android image. Great work!

Has App 2 SD! BUT... Exodus = Incompatible Genesis = Won't Install .... Therefore (basically) WORTHLESS/UNUSABLE/POINTLESS!!!!

Works great on my tablet. Better than on my RPi or PC. Highly recommend!
