It works for starting a charge remotely. Plugshare requires that you are located by GPS at a station. It only shows one screen on my Samsung S7 Edge, half of the stations at my location, so effectively there are only 8 stations. It won't load on my tablet, which is silly. The display of charging status suffers from long lag, and some incorrect portions of the display. Notification of charge full never gets sent, and my location charges until you disconnect. It tapers off so that minimal gain is occurring, but the meter is still running.

Wont even let me log in. I keep trying to use the Username and password I use to access the Semaconnect website, and it says invalid credentials. Now I know why the charging stations at work are always empty, no one can use them because the app stinks.

Another app for a charge station, wont let me add a card said exp date is invalid, why do you have to put a day in the expiration just month and year. Why not just use Google pay and apple pay.

It says the expiration month asks for a day, tried first and last day of the month and it gave an error. Website worked fine

Was able to activate a station. But when I check on the status it says I'm new. When I refresh. It crashes

Every time I attempt to select something within the app on my S5, it force closes. Luckily I was able to get the app to activate a charging station.

Time to rewrite this puppy. Though it doesn't crash on me it seldom works. When it does work it gets caught up in lots of weird states requiring me to back out of the application to correct.

I managed to get it to create an account and start charging, but that was with the app crashing every 30 seconds. I won't be using Sema anything soon again!

So far unable to close account and have my credit card info deleted from their website. Unable to get my money credited back. Very, very bad business so far.

Created account, tried to enter payment info, didn't work. Tried again to log in with my newly created account, and it said my username or password was blank (they weren't). Lousy awful app. Completely useless.

They couldn't even take my credit card info because they needed the month, year and DAY of my card expiration. There is no day. How does a professional company mess up their app so bad that people can't pay them?

Not sure why the ratings are so low. The app could definitely use some ui improvements, but it works well enough for what I need it to do. Customer support was very helpful when I've had to contact them, and friendly as well. No automated system, you actually talk to a human. Maybe I just got lucky and my phone happens to agree with the app.

It worked for about 30 seconds and then all I got was a black screen telling me to connect to the Internet. I am sitting at home with full cell signal and connected to my WiFi. Everything else on my phone is working just fine. Useless.

Horrible app and experience. Couldnt get it to work. Took my cc info then couldnt login. Trouble with maps, login etc. Customer service you have a turkey on your hands. Spend 100% of you time on a top to bottom redesign rather than pretending the customer has some unique issue and other wise all is fine. Look at the over all rating.

Not ONLY does the app not work at all... which negates using it. Neither by app or phone could I connect to the charge point. REDICULOUS.

This could be the worst App experience ever. I sign up, the App then won't let me sign in. I try to call support, and get 411 Connect from the Support Number provided on the App. The map cannot locate the charging stations I'm standing next to and provides the message no machines in the region. I try a password reset and the e-mail link never arrives. I give up! This business will not last long.

Issues that I have encountered with the app: 1.) Frequently force-closes on 7.1.1 on Nexus 6. Annoying. 2.) Must frequently refresh the map to even be able to see any stations near me. Otherwise I get "No stations in this area" or similar message, which is not true. 3.) User interface extremely inadequate, especially on high resolution devices. 4.) Not totally intuitive when it comes to initiating a charge via the app -- must tap station I want, then tap tiny 'Charge Now' button, then 'Select a charging station to start charging now' (already did this in step one!), then tap to authorize a charge, then tap to confirm I plugged in my vehicle. Compare with ChargePoint: tap station I want, tap "Start Charge', done. Why so cumbersome?! 5.) Even when I do manage to authorize a charge on a private station through the app, more than 50% of the time the station fails to start charging, i.e. charger remains blue. Data connection is fine. No amount of retrying seems to help. 6.) Occasionally, station fails to reset at conclusion of charging. It remains on green in-use state for hours. May not be app-related.

Definitely one of the worst EV apps I've ever used. Can't set up an account. Website is no better. Makes their charging stations terribly inconvenient to use.

Worst Android app I've ever used, can't believe this business depends on this app, it refused to work at all on my pixel XL, just a spinning circle on stop when trying to input payment details.

What a POS app. Trying to sign up and put in Name, user name and password and says Invalid_Code. Not good for business if your app wont ever let a potencial customer sign up for a bloody account. Lost my business.

Stopped working after 2 weeks. Logged out and can't log back in. Desktop OK but app is terrible.

Horrible app, can't save a card to account. Have to pay online manually. Online account can't save card, either. And UI is embarassingly pathetic.

Won't upload Payment info. Very frustrating!

Does the job. Remember to give the app permission for location to enable GPS.

I sold my Nissan Leaf in August. Trying to get my refund $13.75 has been a nightmare. They blamed it on the app showing my credit for more but they're showing less on their end. How convenient for them. They have the worst customer service. Will not refund me. , do not recommend this app for anyone they are horrible

I've entered my info 4 times to receive the most worthless error "There was a problem processing your information". This system needs to be fixed if you want customers to feel comfortable.

I signed up gave my CC they charged my card when I try to login it now says invalid name. No problem taking my money. I cannot use the charger

The app is horribly designed and has misspellings like "pluged in". The screen to choose a charging station doesn't load correctly on the S7 edge and I can't pick a charging station to start charging (the charging stations don't show up at all). Luckily I still have my old phone or else I'd be SOL.

The phone app is horrible as well as the whole system. They routinely overcharge for sessions, by indicating that you used the charger longer than you actually did. System notifications to your email or phone may or may not come and are always well after the event has occurred. They never respond to any support issues. SemaConnect is horrible.

No screen to help pay like Blink has, if you reroute to try to use this, you'll end up stranded when it doesn't work. Will just get a tow if my only other choice is SemaDisconnected.

It just plain doesn't. Took me days to get the app working enough to let me sign up/register a card & put money in my account (& even then, I mostly only had success by going through the website). It doesn't even have the two very much real & existent charging stations at my office listed! It's an all around slow & unresponsive app. They don't answer the tickets I send in through the app/site & they NEVER pick up their phone. So don't expect any support when you (undoubtedly) run into trouble w/ this app!

Use chargepoint stations instead. Much better all around. Sema connect all around has been a difficult charging system to use. Had the app crash when logged in. Had it crash after trying to start the charge session.
