Seeking Alpha for Android
About half of it is gonna be wrong, but there's just a lot in info here and if you're willing to put in some time and educate yourself you can definitely sort through it all and put it to use. App is very well laid out. Beats the crap out of the stuff I've used to track my stocks before. The news just pours in.
Seeking Alpha is a great place for direction, the app provides a nice interface to find topic or equity related articles. Admittedly, an 'upgrade' review from 4 Stars. User Interface improvements(my prior concern) have certainly been made. Next thing to provide for mobile is a longer chart history option (i.e 10yrs-Max).
This app is super slow to load articles even when I am on wifi. I don't know why because most just have text and a few graphs. I can load graphics intensive articles in other apps way faster than this can load a simple text article. Please do something to speed it up.
Love the content. The application itself however leaves a lot to be desired. Would also be a good idea to hire a designer. And the ads subscription isn't even worth the cost. Price it more reasonably and you might get more paying subscribers.
...to keep an eye on the market without signing into your brokerage account; and users' comments on analyses as good as - often more amusing than - pundits
Only think that I find annoying is that I can't add fractional shares to my portfolio and the price won't go past two decimal places. But for a free app that's nothing to really complain about!
Good concise data, when it doesn't freeze and lock up your device. Clear and easier to use than Marketwatch, but I am going kick this app of my tablet. Poorly coded, freezes my device. This should not happen especially since it is mostly text content. My advice...hire some pros to write your apps, Lord knows you can afford it.
Excellent information for investors, but the app itself constantly freezes when trying to load new pages or add stocks to your feed. Please fix the freezing bugs.
When I am in the app I find it a terrific user experience. The only problem is notifications. I need to constantly uninstall and reinstall the application in order to reset the notification count, that's all.
You flood your articles with ads, forcing users to download the app. Once you do, the links in the ads to open the articles within the app don't even work. Then you can't even find the article when launching the app on its own. This app is nothing but Micky mouse garbage, complete waste of time. I had to email the link to myself, open on a desktop, and login using Google plus just to read one damn article - which wasn't even very informative.
Had issue with app. Notifed alpha they identified problem, put fix in next release, and gave me a workaround until fix was applied. Great job and great team to go with great program.
I am fairly new to trading and I needed a way to keep my eyes on my investments. "Seeking Alpha" exceeded my expectations! From before the market opens til after it closes this app can share valuable info that may affect a trade such as up to date news every few hrs. This keeps you aware of what the companies you want to watch, are doing! Great App!
Where is Wall Street Breakfast on the App? I used to receive morning notifications regarding WSB. The notifications disappeared several months ago. Otherwise, 5 stars
Just look at the first screenshot: why waste screen real estate in that news section? It makes the app impossible to use in portrait mode, even for 4:3 tablet.
Seeking Alpha has always been a informative sit to the market. Only think that bites is this sign in stuff to use the app! Yet everything else so far is fine !!! Good work !
The app is very good overall, but it would be better if there were more portfolio analysis tools. For instance, what percentage of debt/equity, compare the performance of the portfolio with the corresponding indexes, etc. I would like to see more charts for the portfolio analysis tool.
Notifications for just the stocks in my portfolio (not dow, nasdaq, forced proprietary stuff, etc). I love the "community" aspect. At least you know many of the articles are opinions, and not agenda driven writers reporting their particular version of the "news".
Seeking alpha is by far the best financial app I have. The quantum of information including analysis, opinions and stock information is fantastic. Information is also presented in an easy-to-digest format making this a must have app for the serious investor.
Lots of problems and glitches that sometimes it's better to use the mobile browser and request the desktop site.
Broad set of opinions and wide range of covered companies. A good place to check for opinion that contradicts your own.
Seeking Alpha's app is excellent. It finds every ticker I input so I can save it to my Watch List immediately. The updates are timely and very helpful. A+
Easy to use, easy to set up alerts of new articles about my companies, tons of data and info a must have app for any level investor
Comments often censored. More slanted content. Rarely timely.
An invaluable investment resource including popular along with contrarian prospectives.
Had issues with the app. After Uninstalling it and re-installing it it seems to be working ok.
Though sometimes it freezes on me.
I love using Seeking Alpha. I wish I had known about this app and it's great content a while ago.
Too many notifications. There will basically be a perminant notification that says that you have 50+ stock updates
Latest version crashes when choosing between portfolios or stocks
Must have app for stock market alert, news lovers. Experts have good opinions on earnings, market etc . Just make your own judgment when you purchase stocks.
Fix this please.
Too many Android problems with this app.
Needs article archive option and article organization
Good app for the articles etc but crashes often
Excellent for a quick look. The articles and rebuttals are worth a read as well. Allows for easy edit to various portfolios. Indispensable...
Seems like an OK app, but does not list Canadian exchanges or stocks (only their US tickers when available).
Keeps hanging after using the back button.
Excellent app. Been using it now for more than 5 years across different platforms. Great work
Its cool, networks professional & non professional investors, encourages articles, sharing of ideas. Good reference source.

I don't know why you would buy an ibd subscription when this already has its own app and doesn't crash. To use ibd on your phone you have to open your web browser. it's slow and constantly loading. And even with the paid subscription you are plauged with adds upon add. Bottom line, fu*k ibd. With this app however it I nice and fluid. Definitely worth your time.
