Minneapolis 311

It's slow, back button doesn't always work as expected.

Counter intuitive. Easier to call 311.

Update on 8/31 is a step backwards. Icon is no longer intuitive for users to identify what it is. New interface removed quick reports like parking and graffiti. Everything else is just a web page redirect. This is a regression of app functionality and easy of use. Nothing in app for snow emergency or removal.

About as useful as calling, which is not very. Needs t add all options on the drop down, which should include reporting illegal fireworks, but it just directs you to call. At night. When they are closed.

I placed some pothole reports on this and it has been a couple of weeks and Ive had no indication from any source to show me that they are on the job or if they got the message

Well it's impossible to report neighborhood issues like belligerent behaviour, drug dealing, ridiculously excessive noise, gang loitering and so on. Apparently the only way is to call 911,which is absurd.

I wait until I get home to report icy sidewalks because I don't want to freeze my fingers. Now every report has my address on it. I ALWAYS unchecked the box that says "use this address". What a badly written application

I am new to the application so i will have to check it out more fair rating.

I like the easy access for reporting issues. I am unsure what the purpose of civic points is.

App is a great idea but reporting doesn't always work

Awesome way to get a response from the City and my neighbors.

Couldn't pick an issue category, just got a blank page. Switched back to the regular SeeClickfix app.

Chokes and breaks down every time. Hope the latest update replaces buggy code.

This app is great for reporting parking violations and pot holes, but I would love to see the ability to report other issues, like housing inspection violations

As someone from north Minneapolis it's rather annoying when things I report get closed just a couple days they're opened and weeks later the issue is still unresolved. For example, gang tagging that I reported on the side of the Penn and Dowling gas station is STILL there. Reported 3 weeks ago, issue was marked as resolved but obviously someonw must think north want count for services. Not sure if people who made app are people that work for 311, but app is useless if the people running it are useless too.

Please fix.

The idea of this app is great, but it its almost unusable because it crashes so often.

I don't know yet if the app actually works. It's really unstable. Doesn't handle rotating device to landscape. I tried to submit a report, but I don't know if the report submitted successfully or if the app simply crashed.

Each update seems to get a little bit better. Still not the easiest thing in the world to use, but helps me report more than if I didn't have it.

The app is setup well with lots of scenarios and problems covered. Although two recent 311 call issues are not covered. Now will MPLS respond? Location did not work when I did a report-City closed the report without even viewing the description in the report, fault to app and certainly to City.

Crashes all the time. When I get it to load, it refuses to upload a report, saying "1 answer required. " useless. Uninstalled.

Minneapolis 311 is really responsive. Great tool to communicate with them.

Be careful when you create a profile. Once you create a screen name in cannot be changed. So if you do not want your real name to be public, don't use it. Most people use some cute avatar like "Pot Hole Reporter". Also, you cannot report housing code violations as there is no check box for those complaints.

Turned on all of my GPS options (I have like 4) and now it seems to locate me, will destroy my battery life though.
