This app does what it is supposed to do, usually. Often however, it does not show the current status of the system. It just leaves that section blank, so it is necessary to log into the dealer webpage to get the information. Also, it would be nice if you could customize the notification sound so that it is different from getting an email or a tweet, and you would know that your phone is trying to tell you that something important is going on. Update: None of my suggestions have been accepted, and now the notification is stuck on "Armed. Stay." Not helpful.

Can you set a separate notification sound? It's terrible to have the same notification sound as other apps like Candy Crush when there might be a fire or a burglary in progress

It gives NO indication that you tapped the "arm" or "disarm" button, so you just have to wait and hope that it is working!

After the latest update, the app won't log in then crashes after every subsequent attempt. Poorest quality. EDIT: Resolved by the developer. Still, took a uninstall/install cycle to fix. Thanks for the quick feedback, though.

I want old app back!! I dont need other features or difficult navigation.

Works sometimes. Half the time I have to enter my code up to 5 times to get my alarm to shut off or turn on which is a pain. I saw there was a new app will try that and see how it works. Keeping fingers crossed.

Latest update deletes your login info without warning! Icon gets deleted also. This version is unreliable; can't see status of alarm most of the time. Need a way to go straight into security keypad and bypass other options.

Works again! Guys I get the app has been antiquated but at least the old one kinda worked, this one just crashes

Won't let me log in. Even with the administrator password.

Awful. Only works about 1/10 times

All I had to do was clear app data and then I could login and access the features of the updated app.

Crashes after update. Also update wiped out my logon credentials. Do you guys do any testing AT ALL? DO NOT update your fon. Windows examples look like this should be great new improvement to the app, but if it doesn't run, not so much. Disappointing!

After update can't log in anymore. So app does not work anymore. Don't update! Also crashed after trying to log in again.

After the recent update, this app no longer works. Then I noticed they have a new app which works better than this old one.

It takes FOREVER to make a connection, no matter what device or amount of service we have on the devices. It crashes way too often as well. In theory this is a very great and convenient idea. But seriously... someone has to be able to build a better working app for us to use!!? We are all having the same issues, fix it! Please!!

No functionality except arm and disarm. ugly UI. Quite disappointing.

Just got Safetouch security system and app won't let me login. Tried chaanging password with safetouch customer service and the app still won't take it. Can't use this app with my brand new security system

So far, the app has been useful to disarm when returning home, but it takes so long to give a clear "Armed" screen when leaving, it's just easier to arm the system manually and leave.

Why does this need access to my photos/files?

This app in Theory is wonderful. I say in theory as I have been using it for about a year now and have had nothing but trouble with it. It doesn't want to connect, if you do connect once it is opened and you enter your code to shut off your alarm, it misses a digit and you need to re enter the code 3-4 times. Their telephone Tech support is completely useless and they will refuse to talk to an end user. Instead they refer you back to your alarm company so they can call and say I have no idea what the problem is, but I need to help resolve it, then only to put you on the phone to talk to them to try to fix it. If I had to do it all over again I would choose a different brand.

I use this app for both my Android and iPhone and am constantly having issues with slow connections or not connecting at all. It is very unresponsive when entering codes or arming. Very disappointed that ipdatatel has suggested this over ipfob.

This App is completely useless. For a company to advertise an app to control a security system and it to be built so poorly is ridiculous.

Im getting the error message no peer certificate

The app worked for the first 2 days. Now it just say boot menu options and does not load. I find this annoying.
