ScreenMirroring Patch

Connected but screen is black. Installed the patch but message is that its not needed. No use now for the allshare cast dongle. Waste of money. And i dont want to buy a samsung TV because it depicts the purpose of the dongle being used with any hdmi capable TV. I bring this in the hotel or if there are any presentation projecting it to a projector or tv screen. Now its useless.

(how to solve)download then open the app if it says patch let it if not it doesn't matter. Then go to application manager and go to this app then in the top right corner it should say uninstall updates. Let it restore to factory settings (just for the app) and then it will work. My device is a Galaxy Note II (Verizon) Android version 4.4.2

After upgrade my Samsung A500F new software, cannot use apps in my mobile. It's coming on screen that, screen touch wiz has stopped. Had screen touch problem. What the hell! ? Then I downloaded this screenmirroring app ' still can't solve the problem. Pls do something ....

Screen mirroring was so easy and worked perfectly before the music app was updated. Now it doesn't see my tv and the app says that a patch isn't needed even though my screen mirroring got ruined from the update. (Tried rebooting all the devices already; phone, tv, router)

If I could give it 0 stars I would. It's absolutely useless, installed it because my tablet can no longer use screen mirroring for more than 10 minutes without the wifi dropping off and cutting out the cast. I was told this app is to solve the issue as it's only been happening since the update. It tells me that I do not need the patch - like hell I don't.

I am using Galaxy J7. After installing the app & on opening it saw the *State* Patch not needed...what does it mean? Is it that J7 does not need the patch or is it that J7 is not compatible? I'm unable to mirror the screen on Samsung Series 4 tv. Can the Devs please help?

this app did not install onto my cellphone; asus padfone s plus. in the play store states that i am able to install. but when clicking the install tab. there is an error message. if this app only compatible with samsung phone. JUST SAY SO!!!

What did you do to Allshare. This app has become a total nightmare. I can not cast YouTube to my tv. That is a major fail. Mirroring my screen should be an option and to add insult to injury I have to rotate my screen to get the full picture. Allshare is arguably your best casting facility. Smart View. The jury is back. PATHETIC AND EPIC FAIL.

Well this completely failed on my brand new galaxy 4 tab. The screen mirroring worked just fine until this forced update killed it. Now it doesn't work at all. Now my tablet can't even find the TV, which is a Samsung smart TV bought the same day. :/

I updated my s3 LTE to 4.4.4 and lost screen mirroring. It was working fine before updating, I then used this patch which was useless it didnt work. Please help if someone's sorted it. Further I have contacted Samsung and complained about this issue and All they could do is point me to use this patch or wait for a update from Samsung which has no appointed time of arrival. I suggest every one needs to notify Samsung so they get a move on.

UPDATE: This app when opened said no patch, so it was no help. Well after just opening the AllShare on my Samsung BluRay and on my phone as usually more than a dozen times it worked. When the device shows up on your phone LONG PRESS and enter the pin. Again a dozen or more times and I held my phone close to the BluRay player. OLD POST: BAD ON SAMSUNGS PART...I've been trying a lot of things and have been unable to fix this. On You Tube you can find some solutions BUT you will need root access.

Had screen mirror that came with the phone. Used the patch. No go! Your earlobe may have been the culprit as it may gave messed around with your settings while you were on a call possibly. So go to the top of your screen scroll down and select edit you may see screen mirroring on the bottom. You can drive it upward with the others for easier access. Hope this helps.

After the update of Android on 130916, screen mirroring works and I don't need this patch.

Does absolutely nothing. Just says patch not needed and I still can't mirror my S5 to LG TV due to the android software update

We have a Samsung TV that mentions AllShare but my phone won't detect the TV as something it can use Screen Mirroring on and said no devices are detected. I got this app only to be told I don't need the patch. AllShare's a glitchy thing, Samsung; For that, 3 stars only.

I have a 2014 Samsung Smart TV & a Samsung Galaxy S3. I used screen mirroring alot until today when I rcvd Android software update 4.4.2. Now screen mirroring doesn't work. This patch doesn't work either. Can I uninstall the update? Nope. Will Samsung read my message? Nope. Will I tell my friends how happy I am with Samsung? Nope!

My Note 3, Samsung laptop and TV with dongle struggle to find each other when they're 6 feet apart...but Apple TV worked out of the box, first try and in under 3 minutes. Samsung...get with the Internet of Things...shouldn't need 3 hours and a PHD in Astrophysics to make things connect.

My alpha connected great to my allshare cast hub until lollypop upgrade. It crashes everyone I try to connect now. My Samsung tablets running KitKat still connect great, but no fix yet for phone.

I was hoping this would fix my s5. To mirror share my phone to my new tv sharp aquos LC-60UQ17U. NOW NOTHIN WORKS OT KEEPS SAYING FAILURE TO CONNECT

I never needed a stupid samsung dongle or any other device/adapter to mirror what I had on my gs3 onto my smart vizio tv. Wtf happend does anybody know a solution to fix this? I refuse to spend money on samsung after this dissapointment

I have a Samsung Galaxy Note 3 (SM-N9005) that previously used to connect with and screen mirror to my Samsung (non-Smart) TV via the Samsung Allshare cast dongle. My phone is now using Android version 4.4.2 and screen mirroring no longer works properly. The phone and dongle are able to connect, but after a very short time (never more than 2 minutes) the connection is dropped and screen mirroring ceases. I have tried resetting the dongle and reconnecting to it, but the problem persists. I have downloaded

Galaxy S4 4.4.2 connected to LG 40LF63 just shows green screen, but audio is ok. This app says "Patch not needed" and the issue persists. Other devices work ok with the TV.

Bought a Note 5 (first mistake. Save ur money). Brand new All Share. Quit working in 3 days, have rebooted & everything. My Note 5 pos won't connect n my hubby's S6 stopped connecting. Patch dl says not needed. Fark u Samsung! Going to Apple finally...

After Android 5.0.1 my Samsung Smart TV will no longer allow ANY screen mirroring to be full screen. Used to work perfectly. Very disappointed in Samsung. Tried the patch (obviously it's for an older version of Android), and it didnt work - but regardless they should be on top of this.

i bought an samsung's note 3 neo with updated kitkat 4.4.2. And am having a television which supports ScreenMirroring. When i try to connect with my note 3 neo device. in my mobile am getting error like 'fail to connect via screen mirroring'. even i can see my device name in tv. then i searched in google and i got an solution likeScreenmirroringpatch. in that app i got an state message like patch is not needed. when again i have tried but same reply from mobile.

I tried several times to connect my Samsung Galaxy s6 edge to mirror to my Galaxy Tab 3 and they cannot read eachother.... Fantastic... I checked all updates... What's the point to this?

2014 note 10.1, unable to start screen mirroring due to hardware issue. FYI niether the note nor Samsung tv hardware has changed since update.

After system update my screen mirroring don't work anymore and this app didn't help at all, Samsung we buying your products you should solve this problem

Kies software online will upgrade the older version of the Samsung 2 up to couple newer versions from what I understand the software is the upgrade to a point.The phones for the most part have the same hardware in them.So really a S2 can be a S3 with the kies upgrade.They just won't tell you. All about the $$$.

Dear Samsung Team, we paid a lot of hard earned money to you people. Please look into it your key apps/feature don't works with Samsung devices. I am not able to use screen mirroring with Samsung Smart Tv.

I was happy it worked when i tried it at my moms home.. When i went home to try it on my own set, it just refused to work.... I reset the gizmo more than once.. With no avail...

After WHAT version of the O/S update? I'm sick of devs that put out stuff but never bother to explain property. Are we just supposed ro guess?
