Samsung My Knox

I hate that it won't let me turn off, or delete the built in apps in the Knox folder. I keep getting notifications from the calendar app that i have to sync it with something and i can't shut it off. Also i only want 1 or 2 things in there but because i can't delete the others, i now have about 8 apps in there. Wish it was more like the 'secure folder' on my short lived, but infamous, Note 7...

It hanged my new a7 (2016 model) , wifi not working, no app is working properly, even contacts not displaying names , instead of restarting phone for several times . I haven't seen my phone in such condition from the beginning (i.e, from aug 05 , 2016) . Really frustrated and hated. In future I might change my review, if I'm satisfied.

All my photos & videos disappeared from one minute to the other.then tried to see if they still in my knox but noticed it was missing. Tried to reinstall it but it said unauthorise software was detected &cannot install knox??!! I lost important photos & videos because of this sh*t#*$#×!

Please help me my knox is not working in my cell. I just got my piece factory reset after then when i am installing my knox it's stuck on showing CREATING WORK SPACE and suddenly a screen pops on for security pattern and again it shows me creating work space. Please help me sort this problem.

It's good but rather limited in term of configuration. For eg, it's annoying that the Google App keeps showing notification (traffic, weather) when I clear don't need it in My Knox. I can't turn it off. Also, installing APK will also fail.

I'm not able to install apps from Google play store outside Knox .Apps only installing inside know.Apps Once installed inside knox don't appear outside knox. Plz give solution.

The app shud get locked automatically when we are out of the app ... but it has minimum 5 min locking period or least when the display of the mobile turs off...which is a bit annoying..!!! Hope you fix this.... else its great and i wud appreciate if u lemme knw tht wen wud u do tht..

Won't even let me delete my own files!!!. Every time I delete an spd file., what happens!!! You guessed it! It keeps on comming right! !!. P.S. I am begining to hate Samsung. EVERY SINGLE SYSTEM UPDATE!!! (Software or hardware) has 2 or 3 major drawbacks. If you want a list. I'll give you samples from my long list I have Note 3 and 4. At this rate I'll make sure my next phone will not even have an 's' in its name.

My galaxy On Nxt firmware was re-flashed at Samsung service centre due to slow and hung up. After that My Knox app is not able to be opened as it displays " My Knox can not be installed because unauthorised software was installed on the device". I don't know how the firmware installed by the Samsung service centre could be unauthorised.

i find out another bug. when i unlock my galaxy default lock screen by finger print or pattrn. after knox lock screen appier then i press my back button knox mode is off and defult luncher come back.. what that happen so dispointed..?? i cant lock message app why...? first set up its alrady lock but when all done. i open the knox luncher but message app i can open why..? s6 edge

It's great app, but i bought s7 edge and it works great, but after service on mobile i can't instal till the end. After i chose app for instal in knox,knox write me creating secure workspace and thats all. I don't know what I have to do?

Won't even let me sign in, tried resetting password multiple times...nothing. have tried multiple times contacting support and they don't respond. Thanks for absolutely nothing

Since the september firmware update for my international galaxy s7, it has made my Knox unusable. Whenever i tap to open my knox i get "unfortunately, knoxfoldercontainer has stopped". Restarting the phone doesnt help. Update: is there anyone competent looking at this issue? I need my knox for work purposes and have done what Mike from samsung support asked for on numerous occasions, but he's always giving me incorrect instructions then saying its my fault! Ffs!

When i try to move multiple files to my knox..it asks me password (not a problem)...but after confirming...the movinig process does not work and again i have to select those files and then move to knox..just fix this bug..as it annoys the user.... Rest of all its amazing. Keep it up.

The number one reason I was looking into this was to store private files on my sd card rather than the limited Internal space. Some of my searching made it seem like this application would do that for me. That is not the case. The my files application refuses to work with my sd card. And I cannot find any settings to help with that.

Doesn't even move past initial start screen without hanging. Thank God it crashed now instead of later when full of data!

I factor reset my device two times. But my Knox can't install. My device is j7. My device is Android version 6.0.1. It's telling, "My Knox can't be installed. Because an unauthorized apps has been installed!" If I factory reset device, how there has an unauthorised apps?

I am really satisfied with this security app, the only issue for me is moving my entire personal gallery photos into the Knox gallery which is limited to only 500 photos. Now I have more than 2,000 photos in my gallery which without transferring them to the Knox gallery I can't attach them to any email or send them by chat applications to people. Isn't there any workaround for this?

This is a must download for me! I cant live without this app. My problem now is im stucked in creating secure workspace. I tried many times!. Help me to install.

Knox was fine for about 6 days and then it stops opening for no reason at all! Yes, I have reinstalled, but it still doesn't work.

Update it to like secure folder in note 7 v2 and I give this app 5 stars, in secure folder you can't even see content in folder my knox should be same way where it ask for fingerprint password before letting you in foldet and you can turn of all notification with one toggle switch

Cannot set up as it is sending pin when I need to get in to register same time. As I need to put pin I have to get out of app and look in my email. When I go back to place the pin it takes me back to beginning to start over again.

My Knox on the Note 5 is perfect for "Bring Your Own Device", it keeps my work and personal life separate. This update seemed to speed up loading. Awesome - well done Samsung!

I could install this app on my samsung galaxy j2 pro. But while i am opening to configure it a message appears "unauthorised software has been installed" and thus i coukd no longer configure it on my device... please fix it up or provide me with a solution asap

Galaxy S7 edge Setup gets to where i can select a password option then closes out? My phone isn't rooted and I bought it brand new from AT&T.

when I try to install it on my Galaxy Note 4 appear an Alert which is said "My Knox cannot be installed because unauthorised software has been installed on your device. OK"... how to fix this??? Samsung My Knox work properly on my other galaxy note 4 device.

I like everything about this app.now that back up facility is aded I don't have to worry about data lost.i am always private and protected.

The only drawback of this app is that it uses internal storage as default... if you add an option for sd card then it would be better

Hi I am using S6 Edge. My knox is not working as he said can't be installed due to unauthorised software installed in your device. I done factory reset 2 times but it's showing same. Please help me

Why does it not let me log into my account? I cannot log in at all. Was it some sort of bugged update? I will uninstall and install again and see what happens.

Just installed and seems to be working fine. Kind of like the secure folder on the note 7. Hope it is as secure as I have passwords stored there. in a text file. I would suggest backing up everything you put in there as a precaution. Backup is your friend :)

It is the wrost app I ever seen in my life. When I download that app I was thinking its usefull for me but when opne that it shows creating work space and back to my home page........ my using app in my galaxy e7

Creating secure space.... Creating secure space....... And suddenly shows "Error Licence Failure" WTF

I installed so many time this app on my phone Samsung A5. Every time problem occurs and shows unathourised software installed on your phone.

The Note 7's Secure Folder allowed me to save to External Storage and communicate with my PC. So far, I have not found a way to enable these capabilities with Knox 2.6. Allow us to grant these permissions while in Secure Mode and you'll earn yourselves a 5. Also only being able to transfer 500 items at a time is annoying if you've just installed it and have a lot to move, esp. when you have to select each item individually.

Suddenly disappeared from my device alongside all data within it. Seems like the default samsung knox overwrote it.

Used this on all my Samsung phones. Had to go back to note 5 after note 7 recall. Now no matter what I do this will Not set up on my note 5.
