Samsung Print Service Plugin

It keeps interrupting my HP printing app and I wish I could uninstall it. If it worked with my HP laser multifunction printer 1312nfi MFP in it's own I wouldn't have to install the HP app as well and have the conflict. My printer is connected to my router by USB and your Samsung app seems to not be able to find it without me unplugging the modem, the, and printer and resetting everything when it is lost.

I did use it a few years ago. It was a very reliable printer, copier, facsimile machine whilst we had it. It was also cheap to run in as far as powder consumption, it also used second hand cartridges without any concerns. It had very few paper eating incidents which also indicates how well it was built. We later gave the unit to our Son where it is still being employed by them and is it too is showing them it's a very good and reliable printer. Knowing my Son he keep it until it starts to break-down and until unreliable. There it is for you. Guy Hamilton Martin

Very unsure about the security around this app. Why would a remote print app want to see my contacts and sms messages.. Norton Security software also advises a privacy risk with data being sent to the US . NOT COOL ..have removed it from my Samsung devices until these privacy settings are changed!!

Ty Samsung fur your reply. Means so much to me. I'll try those suggestions on the reply, soon. I did install it, but I haven't used it yet. With reading all those Other reviews, I'm not sure if I should Tap the update, even if this is pre - installed. I Do not need more bloatware that Won't function as in many areas othrs Said in their Reviews. Leaving this as, 'Skeptical' & 4 now, I'm waiting until I get all my info to research on my "4 in 1 Dell printer" first. Please provide patch to delete Samsung Factory installed apps in Android 4. and above. People hate it when Factory apps take up all the phone memory. THIS INCREASES THE CHANCE OF PEOPLE NOT BUYING SAMSUNG THE NEXT TIME.JUST BECAUSE THEY HAVE DEVELOPED AN UNLIKABILITY OF THE SAMSUNG PHONES THEY CURRENTLY HAVE. TAKE NOTE.

Seems to clash with the HP print service plugin. Disable one or the other and nothing works at all. Enable both , the Samsung app crashes every time a print request is sent. Can't print at all now. Makes it pretty much useless. EDIT: Had to completely disable Samsung printing app for to be able to print!!

Sorry, Samsung: I've already dealt with your support people. They were very nice but ultimately determined that none of my three Samsung printers are correctly supported by this ap. They recommended that I use your other ap the Samsung Mobile Print Ap. You all really need to get your act together. How is the customer supposed to know this? Complete crap. How embarrassingly bad that a company of Samsung's size and calibre should release such poor software for their otherwise good printers. Horribly difficult to configure, and every few weeks you have to repeat the process. Have plenty of paper on hand for all your aborted print nightmares!

I don't want it, I didn't ask for it. And yet it installed itself and I was unable to download email attachments unless I agreed to use this. I now have to disable this app every week !!!!! I have a HP printer and HP print app that does everything I need.

Does not work with Kodak Verite, printers. Keeping getting a print service failed but no further information

I'm "not sure about anything", have S8+ shows app is installed but cannot find it... I swear its me but just can't find the app anywhere??? Please help...

I find it easier to send my info to my computer. Than I can edit my printing preferences from there and print it. You got to add paper anyways and turn the printer on so I actually find this app useless to me.

S7 edge cannot direct connect to canon printer and neither can this service. Wasted upgrade. Iphone makin yall look terrible right now. Very disappointed and frustrated that I'm paying for a phone for the next 2 years that cant share photos with a printer directly. Shouldnt be this difficult. Regretting not getting thay iphone about now.

CLP510N does not print. App sees it then printer says not available right now when trying to print. I had to use Chrome on Windows with Google cloud printer using a Galaxy S6 Active... Samsung CLP510N network printer but have to use proxy desktop app between two Samsung devices in same IP subnet.... Booooo

UPDATE: Thank you for the update, Samsung! Went from 1 to 3 stars for now, because I have to figure out how to update my Chrome Browser (6x version for Note 5) to see if I can get it to work. I will update once I am able to print. I sincerely appreciate your feedback and keeping me updating. Excellent customer service!!! OLD:Fellow Samsung users, I believe I isolated the issue to the Samsung Print Plugin that we can't remove & can't use other print plugins without it. I use Brother plugin for print & Google Cloud Plugin for PDF saving. I first uninstalled the Brother plugin. Still got the "Failed to change settings" error when printing email. Then uninstalled Google plugin, same. Disabled Samsung plugin. Reinstalled Brother. Phone couldn't find printer. Enabled Samsung plugin. Found printer, got same error. Thanks, Samsung!

I can't print using this from my samsung galaxy s5 or samsung tablet tap a to my hp photosmart 6520 series bs fix the issue asap please and this messes up the hp app as well....

Does not work. Ever since my phone stopped being able to use hp then havent been able to use printing from any of my samsung devices, which is all of them. Poor choice by Samsung.

You should allow some of your built-in apps to be deleted. I Really don't use any of then. They take up too much space and I can't download nor update any apps Because yours are taking all my space!!! I really like Samsung but this might be the last phone I purchase.

Doesn't work at all. It won't print anything to any printer. It continually crashes as well. Really Samsung? You can't get your own apps to work on your own phones?!?!?!?

Can't print from my Galaxy S5 to my Brother printer. Keeps telling me that the printer is unavailable, yet, I can easily print via wifi from my laptop. Extremely frustrating

This installed on my galaxy s7 edge. I tried printing with Xerox printer but it didn't work rather after connecting it gives message printer not ready

I dont know if its my s7 edge, my new orbi router or my hp 8600 printer thats the problem but i hate not being able to print from the phone.

Bloatware, cant uninstall. Awful. Can only disable but if you have auto app updates on, it will update. I don't want it, nor should it have access to my entire device eg contacts.

This is for the samsung galaxy s2 tablet... for some reason after i updated to your most recent update... the sound has been completely messed up... please fix lr1 thid reviee remains at 1

Works great, when it works. When I launch it via a .pdf document, wifi stops working consistently, so I can't search for my lan pri ter.

This app is useless because i have the Samsung note four. And i don't even see it in my apps on my screen but if i go to settings its thier i want to unistall it Barry shulman.

Suddenly stopped working for no reason. Refreshed & entered network key many times still doesn't recognize

Worked first few times, now just gives error & displays duplicate printers to select, neither which work. Help!!! Will change rating once it works again.

It calls my printer a different name it doesn't always print using with an HP. I already have the HP download for an all-in-one only help Sprint PDF files

Overall I like the app but the big problem is l cannot vary the print quality if could do that I'd give it five stars but that's a big thing for me

Rubbish. Was installed on my S7 Edge. Doesn't work, never recognises my printer, then gives a message that it didn't work???

Does not support my printer. INSISTED that I accept its Ts&Cs or I couldn't get back to the app I was running. I UNINSTALLED THE /!/!!^#/# THING!

The only thing I can see that needs improved is on my laser jet printer I cannot adjust my copies to print color copies other than that I have not had any problems printing anything

Why did my phone do this? :/ It downloaded it randomly! Us my phone updating or something? If this doesn't work i really don't know what to do... :-(

I don't need it and can't remove it so it's just taking up space on my phone.

I installed it to print from my mb phone and it did not work at all. Totally useless.
