Samsung Voice Recorder

People wanting to record voice calls, use boldbeast Recorder. It's the best there is and truly the ONLY app that will properly record calls both you and other end. Other apps don't record calls properly and the ones that claim they do, need to have the call on speaker phone and it just captures the sound from the speaker, just imagine the distortion. Boldbeast uses voice uplink through the phone, not wait for sound to come out of the speakers to capture it, apart from everyone else hearing the call... Enjoy

Great App and for **** sake people. This is a Voice Recorder application DEDICATED for Voice Recording NOT for Call Recording. If you really want a call recording app go download an app that is meant for call recording and if you really want a call recording option email Samsung and request them to put a recording option in the PHONE app itself. If you are not satisfied with this also, use a freaking custom rom. There are a lot of firmwares you will find in the android community for your phone, with a bunch of extra functionalities that you won't regret. Thanks!

This voice memo app is so much better for my needs than any other i have found during much searching. Play slower/faster. Bookmarks while recording or playback. Easy interface. Stores files that can be backed up and played on Windows PC. FF/rewind. Crop/append. Rename. So much more! Has matching Gear app.

All things works perfectly..... Update needed for cutting specific dialog and in settings there should be record lecture system so that it can record only speakers voice rather than adding extra sounds of fan,murmuring etc

I do a Bible Study and was trying to figure out how to record them and send it to my transcriber to type them out. This app let's you record and share it. I send the file via email. One downside is that you can not record while your on a call. I did not know I had this free app and it was a great find.

Why would you limit recordings to 5 minutes? I don't see a setting to change and no longer use because of that very reason. Never an issue on my S4. Updated. Thanks that worked. I was looking in the wrong place thinking it was in settings.

Really good sound. I'm happy with all of the options available to me. Would like to see recording calls available. So you can record what your saying & what the other person is saying while on an incoming or outgoing call.

What has happened? The app goes sooooo slooooow or is unresponsive as of today and it jams my phone up. I'm on Galaxy J7 with Metro PCS and this app has worked flawlessly until today. I see no update available. I restarted my phone. Nothing works. I depend HEAVILY on this app. Thank you. I will give 5 stars as soon as it's fixed!

This is good for what it does but remember everyone if you record a call through these apps it is illegal if you dont advise the caller you r recording it. Be careful this is for all states in Australia

It's almost perfect except with the fact that it automically stops recording once you take a picture and/or use apps that play videos, like Snapchat. There should also be an option to disable the blinking notification light while recording with your screen off.

You want to truly get good reviews how about letting us uninstall apps we the consumer don't use or have a use for on our phones. I mean Jesus Christ, if we wanted it Google play store is right here .

Useless app. Won't allow me to record. Saying not allowed while phone call is been used. No phone call at the time

Unable to add to recording afters its saved* Thanks for the response, but that's not what I said. I don't want to overwrite and start over- bad service. I want to go back later and add to them . Why have multiple recordings on one subject.

Probably a good program but I dont want it. I mean I guess its nice that samsung knew that we all want to record ourselves. Im disapointed as well that kitty cat jigsaws wern't preloaded.

This app is good but, if update to call record it's fine because we are depending third party application for call record we purchased Samsung with premium rates and we depend third party apps for call recording. But we don't know that application are safe or not. So please think for it and give option for call recording.

Best quality! Would be even more awesome if you could record while music plays in the background so that you can hear yourself singing

Please add Voice Record to calls it would be a great feature because I'm sick and tired of Vodafone trying to rip me off my current contract

Would've been great if the messenger share succeeds in sharing it. So far, it only comes up error.

I like the recording features, especially the dual microphones. BUT I would like more info on how to edit the voice file as I have 2 lengthy files with lots of dead space that I have bookmarked and would like to trim off. I have made a copy so will have the master in case I mess it up, but when in edit mode, the scissors stay grey and I am unclear as to how to proceed.

Only records is .M4a which is annoying. Otherwise it's perfect

Forced me too remove other overlays on s7 edge. Haven't tried enabling and disabling so not sure if it's just overlays or app specific.

I upgraded my phone. I always had iPhones when it was time to upgrade they didn't have the iPhone 6s plus so I got a Samsung 6s plus . I'm loving every moment of it

Plz give us inbild call regarding in next update otherwise this app in not useful for us i hope Samsung understand our problem v dont want to install 2 meny apps . What i do with this app i m not a singer or reporter

I wish this app has an ability to record calls as well. We still don't have Call Recorder for Galaxy Phones from Samsung.

Can't get it to work on my S7 Edge. Keeps asking for permissions that are already activated. Won't get past this window.

One of the better background capable recording apps I've used. Simple, nice interface,good features. I use it daily.

You have to stay in the app in order to listen. You can't turn on a recording and either shut off your phone on leave the app, or it will stop playing.

Clarity is good for dictating and reading and replay of my books to be published. No need to purchase separate recorder. Also use for the class I take. The Teacher is heard clearly when I later record my notes.

Please add an auto call recorder in this Samsung voice recorder. If you add this function then the users of Samsung galaxy smartphones don't need to download any third party call recorder applications. Thank you so much!

Causes screen overlay problems with my new Galaxy s7 and it does not matter if I set the "allows on top" setting to "on or off". As a result it does not work. It's a new phone with all updates applied. It's the only app so far that causes this error.

Need to add mp3 format.Because this records in some other format. When I try to put it to my desktop, Applications like Adobe Audition aren't detecting the voice recording.
