Just glance down to see one of three icons for "good", "bad", or "unsure" (meaning that different sources disagree about the effects of that particular food).

This free app contains a list that was created from several sources (listed in the About tab of the app) to create a master list of about 250 foods.

This app makes life so much easier for eating out. No more guessing or trying to remember what is & isn't on the list.

H70%

Limited search feature

K70%

Easy to use

R70%
by R####:

Great concept but not very many foods to search from. Also locks up every time I try to use it on Note5.

R70%
by R####:

very basic

T70%
by T####:

Needs to be more comprehensive. No entries for "peanuts", "almonds", "spelt", "sorgum", etc. Adding the reasons...along with a reference, if questionable...explaining why certain foods need to be avoided would be very helpful.

T70%
by T####:

This is a cut-down version of the Simple FODMAP app, which is more complete than this one. Lots of allowed foods are missing, which isn't good.

T70%
by T####:

An excellent little list. On my htc one it crashes every other time I open it (blank screen) meaning I have to force quit the app via settings to get it working again.

T70%
by T####:

Some of the foods listed are not ok according to other sources (eg: Monash Uni). Some are also fine in small amounts. Having some sort of scale as well as out-right good/bad would therefore be useful. Would also be useful to show which lists a food is listed on, maybe also making those links clickable to open a browser window.

S70%
by S####:

Looking forward to a more comprehensive list. Increase specificity by explaining what in fritata is ok

T70%
by T####:

It's nice having a memory aid, but it would be nicer if I could tailor the list to my needs. I would love to be able to add foodstuffs.

S70%
by S####:

A reasonably good list of foods, but dissapointed about the research of allowed foods. The most successful IBD management has been done by eliminating Sugar and fat. The sticky combination proves very bad for IBD sufferers. So why is sugar and other sweet products marked as OK to eat. Ice cream is like eating rat poison to a IBD patient.

T70%
by T####:

One request is to have alternative suggestions for foods that are red flagged so we know what we can eat in place of that item. Margerine for instance...what can I use instead of that?

T70%
by T####:

Great help. would be cool to add own ones or rate items

X70%
by X####:

Very useful to have this list easy to refer to! I would like to see a feature to allow you to look at only the not allowed foods or only the allowed foods

F70%
by F####:

Similarly to others, more extensive listing would assist.

T70%

Brilliant app, an absolute life saver. Makes shopping much easier. Can't wait for more updates!

T70%

Love having the list of foods, wish there were more foods on it. It would be nice to be able to add foods, as well as change the ratings of existing foods.

Z70%
by Z####:

There is such a range of foods we can and can't eat - so much that I can't remember it all. Having this app makes choosing what I buy and eat so much more convenient and easier.

C70%
by C####:

Buy the Monash University app. Everything else is second hand and not scientifically thorough.

J70%
by J####:

Was really good and simple. But now it just loads up with a massive empty search box, which doesn't respond to anything at all.... Go back to the list version

T70%

Crashes every time I try to open it

T70%

Otherwise fine.

C70%

Wish the developers would update it

T70%

Is not very informative, but not bad for a free app

T70%

Inaccurate data when cross checked with Monash study.

Great base for a really great low FODMAP app! It's free, so I really can't complain (and I'm not, I promise!) but this could be a PERFECT app if some modifications were made. For instance, it's very obvious the food list is quite Americanised, so a lot of items are missing that are common in an Australian or British diet. So it would be great if we could add our own custom foods. Either that, or make the list much more extensive (maybe take suggestions from your current user base? we're here and we'd love to help you!) and then categorise the foods so it isn't such a massive scrollable list. I do appreciate that the list is from a variety of sources, and the ok/not sure/can't eat ratings, because it really does differ from person to person. It's also a really clean UI. Some things in the list were a bit confusing e.g. "french toast" (unless it's made with gluten-free bread) and "gelato" (most flavours would contain milk solids).

T70%
by T####:

Sweet corn should not be on the allowed list as well as other recent finds.

T70%
by T####:

Very helpful, appreciate how tricky it is to keep it current/correct. Would be great if we could add our own triggers to the list though..

T70%
by T####:

Exactly the type of app I need. However does not include all foods. Still great.

T70%
by T####:

Great way to see what foods may make my daughter's symptoms worse. Would love to add custom items and ability to email/sms to babysitter.

P70%
by P####:

Great app really helps my malasorbtion of some fructoses :)

Y70%
by Y####:

Really handy to have at hand. Every little bit helps.

M70%
by M####:

Very comprehensive list, only minus the food should be editable for personal diets

T70%
by T####:

Fodmaps is about finding what works for you...this would've great if I could change a rating or add my own food items. What do you think?

S70%
by S####:

excellent app, very helpful thanks so much.

T70%
by T####:

Unfortunately it crashes when started on Android 4.0.1(Ice Cream Sandwich) on Samsung Galaxy Nexus. Crash report sent.

T70%
by T####:

The issue with this list is its very misleading. It is not accurate and therefore not very useful for those affected. Some contain complx ingredients

T70%
by T####:

Very handy. Would be great if there was a community option where people can log the foods specific to them and known avoid foods. That way we would see diets emerging that may work for specific problems. E.g. I know garlic and onions are my no.1 avoid foods.
