Seqr - mobile payments

Complicated to set up and complicated to use. If you're looking for a parking app Parkster is much better.

NFC payments not working with custom ROM or NFC. Please remove that garbage security and instead tell the rooted users it might be dangerous to use it with root.

So far so good. Needs design improvement and quicker ways to top up your Seqr account. Tap & Pay worked perfectly in GB.

Works quite well. Too bad you can link only one bank account to it.

Nexus 5, Paranoid Android 7.3 rooted. Can't use tap to pay, even when using Magisk Hide.

Camera doesn't work. What's the point in using seqr if I'm unable to start my camera and scan the code! Edit: I've been in touch with the developers/customer service and was asked numerous times to check the camera permissions etc. Yes, I've given the app permissions and updated it to the latest version.

Tap & Pay does not work on a rooted device.

Good to pay if you only go outside once a month. It takes 4 days after the money is gone from my account to appear in the app. That makes more than 7 days from spending to having credit again. Need 10 of these apps.

The most flexible app out there to make nfc payments. It works everywhere in Europe and you don't need to be with a certain credit card issuer or a certain bank. This is greate and since August I am not using my debt card anymore, just this app. Far better than satispay, this app is very very easy to setup and very secure.

The app should be improved in design. I'm an website creator and the design is triggering me a bit otherwise a very good app

Works mostly well. Limit could be higher and restored faster.

Well, design and interface are a bit ugly, but as far as it's the only app which works in Germany with direct debt (no top up need) I'll still put 5 stars

This app does't need to control my phonecalls, or have access to my contacts, to make transitions. Look at PayPal, Swedbank and many more applications; Transitions made with only access to the internet..

No customer support. If you loose your account or get locked out, you loose all your money. I've already sent them 7 mails. No success.

The app works really great for me. Just as fast as contactless payment with a physical card. After the "widget-update" I had some trouble activating Tap&Pay but the issue is now resolved. I'm really happy with the addition of the widget but it would be even better if it was resizable to 1×1 and would always open the Tap&Pay screen and not only the apps main menu.

Can't use Tap&Pay because it tells me my device is rooted even though it is not. EDIT: After contacting customer support it seems like they just dont like you installing custom roms to your phone to keep it from being insecure

This is so utterly bad... Way to much work for a simple parking. Worst app i have ever used. Rather just sms.

Servers down on the same day I have to renew my parking ticket. No available information why they are down or when it's back. Don't make an app like this if you can't guarantee 24/7 uptime/support.

Using it in germany with N26 bankaccount. Pretty happy Overall. Just the Design of the app itself is meh. Also I dont need all the send money, scan & pay or offers stuff. I just want to pay by phone. Pls keep up the good work!

Finally an App that works directly with a German Girokonto, without a credit card in between the process! The App has a few flaws (manual approval was necessary for my account because of a foreign ID, the payment limit hasn't been automatically increased after 3 successful transactions as it is stated) but overall it works and I'm keeping fingers crossed for the team to further improve the app to perfection cause Germany urgently needs modern ways of payment like this. The only thing that annoys me, which probably nothing can be done about, is that you cannot see where you really spent your money in your payments overview of your bank, since everything runs via Seqr and Seqr's name appears on the transaction, not the name of the end shop where you paid. If there somehow was a way to forward the info about the shop to your bank so that it could be listed like it is in the Seqr app itself, that would be perfect cause you could maintain an overview of your expenses. And please, let us change the payment PIN!

Krånglig och svår att använda. Försökte använda denna app för att betala parkering men gav upp efter 20 min krångel att aktivera is Seqr. Varför finns inte paypal som alternativ? Varför krångla med autogiro och fotografering av ID kort?

Finally a way to use my NFC compatible device to pay in Germany. Other countries probably cannot believe Germans need a Swedish company to get such functionality but it's true. And Seqr works great for that. Very happy :-)

Please test the scanner on a Nexus 5X. The upside down image bug has been there since a year ago. And BTW I don't understand why the tap-pay doesn't work at ICA Maxi, nor the Starbucks self-service machine while a contactless credit card works fine, not sure if it's a bug or an expected incompatibility issue.

Don't understand why Q-Park use this, useless as a parking app.

App is greatly improved now you get to payments directly when you open. Check if nfc is activated would improve further Tap and pay works once in a while could be my phone. Few stores have SEQR even the ones listed don't have it.

Nearly gave up on this, but here it is: a Tap and Pay app without fees in Germany ;-)

I have to activate tap and pay everytime. That's insane. Today is the day where this thing make me without any money in front of the payment request.

Check that you have internet connectivity...

This app works (now) flawless for me in Germany at LIDL stores and with my Galaxy S5 mini. It is much faster than paying cash or with ec-card. For the first week, I had to repeatedly activate 'Tap and Pay'. Maybe that was because I used the widget to open the app. Then I decided to not use the widget anymore, the issue is gone since then.

Had a problem with tap and pay but eventually it was sorted out, now time to test it out
