Jordan Education Initiative (JEI) is one of her Her Majesty's Queen Rania Al-Abdullah non-profit organizations , that aims at improving the level of education, encouraging creativity, developing capabilities and building knowledge economy by using the latest technological tools in Jordanian government schools.
Fursati LiTamayyoz (FLT) Program; JEI is currently running Fursati LiTamayyoz (FLT) program which is an internship program for 165 ICT university graduates (from all governorates) that targets bridging the gap between learning outcomes and the work market demand. The program duration is one year, where interns are enrolled at the beginning in an introductory training & orientation focusing on JEI, soft & life skills, then placed at public schools for two semesters to support and enhance the technology infrastructure along with integrating it into education, in winter break they join technical training courses to develop their technical profile capabilities, after the second semester they will be in the phase of on-job training at related domain’s organization for 4 months between May-Aug, considering that; JEI supports the interns with mentorship system from the market’s senior expertise.
