SuperLink V1.8 for Android
It stopped working aftet nougat update for Android system. No v2.0 . Which was promissed long time ago. Still not available and at that point inoperable. What a waste of time and money
Where is Superlink v2?? This version crashes everytime I try to make a temperature change and never closes gracefully.
Used to work okay, although monitoring never did work well. This version doesn't work on Android N at all. Lost money on this deal, V2 is vaporware.
Still not working, no 2.0 uodate yet. tired of waiting.
Upgraded my phone to latest android version and 1.8 doesn't work anymore. No other version out yet and no support!
App no longer works at all, desperately needs a fix
Since I bought a new house, I started using this app. It worked ok for four months and suddenly I couldn't connect to the system, so I reinstalled the app and it is froze at authenticating stage. I tried to contact the team but no response yet. I don't know what to do now. It is not a free app, I am not happy with the service.
Purchased a couple of years ago because of hype of soon to be released version 2.0. Does not look like there will ever be a version 2.0. The old version stopped connecting to my system months ago. Luckily I also purchased the HAI version that works fine.
Just upgraded my phone to latest android version and 1.8 doesn't work anymore. Been seeing in other reviews there is a beta version out somewhere? Otherwise good app.
Hasn't worked in a while. Opens, and then when I try to click on any of the menu items it immediately crashes. Maybe a Marshmallow problem?
Now the app no longer works on Note 5 if it is on Wi-Fi. Will still work on 4G, but major hassle to turn Wi-Fi off every time I want to use the app
I was wrong, its not vaporware! There are a lot of features missing from the new 2.0 beta but I am hopeful that the features found in this version will be added in time...
Connecting...!
Had a chance to use haiku on IOS for a year (still using it on tablet) . Now with superlink 1.8 it feels like I travelled back in time to 1989 :( can you guys just copy at least a 100 features from them? I don't know what the 2.0 will be like. And I can't find Superlink 2.0 either? Reply to the authors reply which is (We like 1989) : good attitude from a developer of home automation supporting app, good luck on the way down :) by the way what is Superlink 2.0? is it even planned yet? Or just a selling feature for your 1989 app :) Funny thing is that Superlink only shows half of my security zones so I never know if some of the doors or windows are closed or not :) keeps me on the edge. You never know.
Although I like the App, I'd love to check out 2.0.
Like the app, but cant find Superlink 2.0
Can't find SuperLink 2.0 in the Play Store. What gives?
This app is the best HAI controller app available for Android but as the home automation field continues to explode with the likes of Nest, HAI and those creating apps will need to get better. For example neither the Status screen nor the Thermostats screen shows you if the heat is currently on. You have to assume that it is based on the current temperature and the set point. It would be more convenient if a little icon or something showed up indicating heat. Especially when scanning multiple thermostats.
This is the best app for HAI users. I Like that you can put controls, t-stats, etc into favorites folder for quick access to the most used controls. The lists feature is great bc you can put all controls for a specific room onto one screen. Great to have all of your dining room controls including t-stats, audio, lighting all one 1 screen titled "Dining Room". Lastly, nice to be able to rename everything. Lighting in HAI named "D UNDERCNTR" becomes "Dining Room Under Counter Lights" to the final user.
This app is more functional than the snaplink.
Works just as described, no crashes, and gives me control to all units (centralite), all security zones, flags and buttons.
Great app! Couple of bugs. When listen is turned on for security zones the app forces closes when the zone triggers. Update! Bugs gone works great!
Great program! Needs a little tweeking but excellent. Update: tweeking has been done! Works as advertised....
Love this app and its continued improvements. Love to see wigits for home screen. I.E. Current temps, light switch, macro buttons.
Much better than snaplink. Works on galaxy s4 s5 galaxy tab 4 8" 7" and grandstream android phone systems. Only wish I could control my access control. I would like to lock and unlock my doors otherwise perfect app. Thanks
Wish I didn't have to download the configuration every time I want to use a different account.
I have SuperLink my husband has Snaplink and he is envious, SuperLink may have a hiccup here and there but they are very quick to fix. SNAPLINK hasn't improved or had an update in a year. SuperLink is always improving. Good job guys !
Always hangs while trying to restore connection (after phone has been idle for 15-20 min), this makes "monitoring" feature useless. Have to force close it every time. Does work, however, after that for a while.
My wish list: Humidity info and control in the thermostat section.
I own a security I integration company. I have snaplink, haiku, and now super link running on various devices. Super link is by far the least reliable. I have to force close it daily in order to restore the connection. I purchased because I was looking forward to the integration with locale. I would say I have to force close about 25% of the time. Reply to dev: this was not a support request. The features work as you designed. It is just buggy and unreliable.
Love the push notifications.. however they don't always work. This app is hands down better than snap link. Reduced this from 5 stars to 4because of the constant need to force close it.
Always trying to search for a connection when switching between Wi-Fi and 4g... It just keeps saying 'connecting" and just freezes there... Fix this please...
I like the features and UI over SnapLink but work needed. I don't like that it issues commands without needing a PIN code. Also somewhat slow. I used Haiku on iPhone and it was the bomb. I would really like it if this application would take a page out of that book.
Moved from iPhone where I used Haiku which had a much better interface than anything on Android. This app crashes on my Droid Maxx.
Could use a few tweaks but overall a great app.
works
I don't understand the couple of negative reviews. I find the app to be very quick and stable. The developer is very responsive and keen to keep this app as the best option for remote access to HAI controllers. The free trial probably won't be enough for most people who have done their own programing with PCAccess, but it only took me 3 minutes with the trial version to decide to buy the full version. Well done! I couldn't be happier.
The app keeps crashing. Very slow when it does work. In addition it does not report major system status events such as battery low or power failure. The trial version does not give you enough info to know what is disabled and what isn't there. I was gullible and bought the full app.
I am running this app on my DroidX and Xoom tablet(honeycomb), it works great on both. I am accessing an OmniPro II panel, it provides realtime monitoring of security zones, and control of my thermostats without skipping a beat. Now I have an incentive to finish the structured wiring in my house so I can control all my lighting too. Must Have App
