The app is fine for reading the news. However it needs a search feature. It's impossible to find a specific story or column. I use other news apps, too, and all of them have search features. Unfortunately they don't have my local newspaper stories which is the reason I subscribe to the NDN. It's frustrating with no search feature. This one would be five stars if there was a search feature.

It's good to read local news when you miss on TV. I am on Hospice and haven't left the house in almost a year. So it's nice if I miss the news because I sleep sometime when it's on.

This new version is a vast improvement on my SmartPhone, Unfortunatly, it is no longer compatible with my ASUS Transformer Infinity TF700T. I wonder why? I would have given it 5 starts otherwise. I hope this is a temporary situation.

This app is worthless as you can't access any of the news stories. It requires you to create an account and pay to purchase your news. In today's internet age, where information is free and abundant, this app is archaic and not worth the space it consumes. Don't bother installing it, as everyone we know has been uninstallijg this pos app :(

NDN provided okay coverage of local issues.... nothing great of course. This news was in exchange for bombarding the end user with ads. Now that they went the route of the NP and want subscription revenue to display mediocre reporting and old stories, they can go join the NP. Uninstalling now; I will stick with our much more up-to-date and comprehensive news sources such as NBC-2.

This is lousy! All I wanted was the classified section and it's no where to be found. And when I do a search it just gives me stories with the word "classified" in it. It keeps asking me to sign in, but it doesn't give you a place to create an account, so you can only sign in if you already have an account. Totally useless app
