Good app, have had no issues so far

This is the worst app ever! The correct edition rarely loads so I have to request. The pages don't always open when clicked on the one I want. The app closes on its own. Often the page I am on disappear as I maneuver through the article or comics.

The only problem is I can see the pictures from USA Today.

Love getting the news on my phone!

I get news alerts on my android tablet, but the app will not open. The old app was fine but not this one.

You pay a monthly fee and still get ads

Doesn't update. Letters to the editor are 11 days old. Tried to go to the USA today section and all I get is retry. This app needs serious work. Not user friendly. Bring back the old version.

What happened to my e-subscription that was perfectly fine. Now Sunday editiois totally worthless minus editorials, etc.

Great way to to catch up on headlines from the Knoxville News Sentinel.

I understand that on top of my monthly subscription you need advertising dollars. However, the fact every time your full screen advertisement loads I have to refresh the application to read the story makes your product very poor. This needs to be fixed. Plus the fact every other click launches a new advertisement makes reading your stories annoying. To the extent If the story is covered anywhere else I go there to read it. Again fix your janky application.

What's the point of having a free app if everything on it you need a subscription to read. This used to be one of my favorite apps. I'll be getting my news from another source.

I get all of the latest news storues, including Amber alerts and breaking news stories. It definitely helps me stay updated on what is going on in Knoxville.

Like the columnists, they are good. Have never given 5 stars!

Seems to work OK with my Nexus 6, but no search function?? And, no archives?? Doesn't make much sense - very primitive & disappointing. Probably won't subscribe for long....

This is a very good source of information and helps me to keep up with community affairs

I have no problems keeping up with what is going on in the news with my app on my phone. My tablet and laptop are another issue however. I wish they could do better in those two areas but as for my phone I don't see how it could operate much better. Please try to keep improving the app for all applications.

The half-star didn't work. I've called KNS re-Android version of KNS app. So many issues from not loading the article, to pop-ups commandeering the screen then won't let you see the article. They offered a different 'general' newspaper app which wouldn't even connect back to KNS. Since I mainly read the news online rather than in print, and after trying to work with tech support to resolve the issue (they were absolutely no help and didn't really seem to be concerned if I cancel) I'M CANCELLING MY SUBSCRIPTION TO KNOXVILLE NEWS SENTINEL. It just doesn't make sense to pay for it anymore.

New "tablet optimized" layout is awful. Only change I can see is the two column format, which makes headlines and teasers mostly useless. Font too small in comments, can't read. You can make the font bigger, but then the text doesn't flow. Content is minimal and lacking (except too much sports), with frequent misspellings and typos. Annoying constant popup ads for useless "stormchaser" app. Poor execution. Not polished at all.

All you get is a headline no news at all unless you pay for it. Worthless deleting now!!!!!!!

App always says refreshing and rarely works. Also makes me constantly log in.

Subscribe to see cut and paste AP stories and local "news" that can be had for free from several other outlets? No thanks. Uninstall.

No comics?

It started at a.m. this morning! A subscription to The News Sentinel will be needed to view all of the articles digitally. I will be getting my local news elsewhere.

U don't have classifieds or job listings so your app do esn't help me. Plus I'm not going to subscribe so I can read everything

App is full of ads and now they want you to be a paid subscriber to read most stories, no thank you. I will download a local news station app for my Knoxville news.

Same issue as Diane. Glad is is free with my paper subscription. Very disappointing!

why pay for the news paper online when you can the news for free on another news app! what a waste of my time down loading this app!!!!!!!!!

App will not open on my Galaxy S4 or my wife's Galaxy S4. Shame we pay for a news service and app that doesn't work. This is August 3rd and hasn't worked for four days now.
