The ScramCard UNION PRE>AUTH mobile app is a highly effective and economical means by which to protect consumers from the threats associated with the retention of mag-stripe based technology on EMV based cards while also preventing merchants from having to worry about having to wear the liability when the mag-stripe capability of such cards is being used.

The PRE>AUTH app is an accelerator by which to achieve EMV based security when still using the insecure mag-stripe as a means of payment when using a ScramCard UNION device.
