I appreciate this flashlight because it doesn't have any ads and not many restrictions. I don't want anything on my phone that needs to read my Wi-Fi devices and my contacts while controlling my text messages, so I respect the person who made this one! THIS IS THE ONLY FLASHLIGHT I AM COMFORTABLE USING! THANK YOU TO THIS PERSON/PEOPLE AGAIN FOR NO RESTRICTIONS! I have had other friends use this same light and will still recommend it! Thank you and much respect!

Works like it says ..I don't have screen glow in my eyes too. No you can't mess up and black screen to where it is hard to get out of light. Hit back button on phone with back or previous button clear settings of standard light on normal settings or exit app shows up. Hit either and that's it. So simple. Also has view finder view....?????? Idk why. But has it.

Black screen with torch, viewinder with or without torch or just standard mode. Simple anf great! One suggestion ...pinch to zoom on viewfinder mode. Could really peak behind sofas or tight corners. Could use camera though if I ever need this.

Pros: Opens in .5 sec, awesome! No ads, easy to use! Camera mode for looking at things! Cons: Can't touch anywhere on the screen to toggle the flashlight, have to hit the lightbulb or click inside the square in black screen mode. Would be nice if it was the entire screen (why isn't it?). Fix this and get 5 stars!

This is been my go to flashlight app for a long time. I used to be able to switch it to viewfinder mode, but now I don't have that option. I only see the bulb. I think it may be hidden behind the software buttons on my LG G3.

This was the best light I could find to use as a lock screen shortcut. - starts on - blanks screen - easy way to turn off, no confirmation popup It is amazing how all other light apps didn't manage to be as slick and efficient.

Uses VERY little phone memory in comparison to many other flashlight apps I've downloaded (and deleted). This ones a keeper! I couldn't be happier.

Just as functional as all the bloated junk out there. No reason to use anything else.

It's a torch and nothing else - perfect. Black screen while LED is on helps your low-light vision.

Excellent for looking for things, emergencies, reading, painting. . . extremely bright. If you are hiding do not turn on. Or if someone is sleeping.

which is just what I was looking for; the only thing Scott asks permission to use is the camera so he can use the flash LED for the needed light.

I uninstalled another flashlight app after realising how excessive it's permissions were. This app is elegant and simple, no ads or unnecessary permissions.

Not only this application does what I want: put on the light instantly and black the screen, but it has in addition a view finder. Excellent and it's free.

Love that the app doesn't ask for permission to access a bunch of systems on my phone. Love the black screen mode so im not blinded with a lit screen.

I don't need a fancy light. Works on opening the app. On. Off. That's all I need. No invasive request to know my contacts etc...Thanks

Turns on and off quicker than other flashlight apps. Safe because it doesn't need any permissions apart from the essential.

Usually it's when I'm the last one to bed - I turn off the house lights and suddenly have to navigate through instant darkness - but however you find yourself in the dark, this is the flashlight app I always recommend. I keep it on my phone's lock screen for instant access, because if you suddenly need a light, you need it quickly! Lots of cool flashlight apps out there with strobes or color - but in that moment when it suddenly goes dark, you just need bright light fast without having to think about modes.

Very tiny app that works and has no ads. Perfect. Most torch apps are ten to fifty times the size and spy on you! Get this one instead.

It works well as a flashlight, isn't invasive like most of the others. U do have to open the app to use it and about 50% of the times i try and turn it off my phone crashes. Need some work!!

Unlike some of the more popular flashlight apps, this one only asks for the necessary permissions. So I guess if you want your flashlight to be able to track your location, you'll want a different app.

Handy app. Had the minimum permissions required to run, unlike those other shady "flashlight" apps. Let's you do a plain flash light or turns in the camera to help difficult to see places.

Of all the light applications, this is the best one! I love the viewfinder option.

Uses led from flash (not from screen only)even when other apps used only screen.

I was just looking for something to use my camera's LED as a flashlight, and what I found was an app that can also use the camera as a digital viewfinder or completely black out the screen, and no advertisements or extra permissions needed! Thanks dev, you're awesome.

Does exactly what it's supposed to, and doesn't bait you into granting it unnecessary permissions.

Works well on DROID3. Gets the job done. Other flashlight apps need permission for phone state, network, GPS (wtf!). This one only asked for hardware.

Had this on my old droid and loved how simple it was, upgraded to a razr recently and was disappointed at all the garbage apps they have in the market for lights, managed to find this 1 again and couldn't be happier.... great job guys

This app only requires permissions to use your camera so that it can turn on the LED. That's it. No asking for location data. No ability to write and delete from your SD card. No knowledge of running apps. No ability to connect to the internet. Is it really so hard to find an app that ONLY does what you expect it to?

LED light doesn't turn on but View finder does. Great idea if it would work. Samsung Droid Charge

It fails to turn on sometimes.not responds.need to be fix. Use on droid 2 global

The shop change thing is a waste of time, as it cnstantly lags and makes you check out when you werent their at all. And their needs to be more money without a credit card... we download "free" games because we cant buy them. Fix it then maybe ill play again.

Works! HTC inspire. Had the least permissions of all flash light apps, when last I checked.

Works great but can you please make it a widget that still works with the Droid Razr Maxx 2.3.6?
