ScorchCAD for Android
Dude you absolute legend, it's OpenSCAD for Android! You can even export to STL so make models for your 3D printer on your phone, wow! The code editor could be nicer - syntax highlighting, bracket matching, a toolbar with tab/untab and various braces, etc. But it all WORKS and it's totally FREE, not even an ad, so 5 stars from me.
Not use friendly. In app examples consist of square & circle. No complex 3 or more shapes / colours. Deleting to replace with something more usable.
It's free. No ads. Does even render complex stuff. Speed for rendering is really nice. Editor is very basic, but overall experience is just nice. Thanks for this good work.
I'm in love with openscad, and this is exactly what I was waiting for! Thanks for the good job!
It's good OpenScad viewer and editor (in case you don't have PC)
Great thank you . Used it to make a replacement 3D printed part for a door handle . perfect
Impressed with what one can do on a cellphone for 3D printing...
It's good easy to use . And view
OpenSCAD!
Keep up the good work!
Looks good, needs work.
This is real great.
Please, keep up the great work! What's really needed is an in-app reference sheet. Perhaps just that cheat sheet image from the openSCAD page would do for now.
It only displays objects using orthographic projection, it would be very nice to include an option to use perspective view.
YAY! Makes phone 3d modelling doable! I've downloaded a few openscad editors now... this one easily best! Thanks!
Good app that does what it says. Scorchworks is on the internet, so check out his Windows based software for CNC mills. He has some good engraving software. Keep up the good work.
Just perfect !
Required for doing any useful modular coding.
I tried using the code editor, then usin the back button at top of screen to get back to the main screen. (the keyboard covering the lower part of the screen stays otherwise) but when i go to compile all changes just made are lost.
May I suggest you modify Scorchcad so that users can use their favourite editor, eg Vim Touch or DroidEdit. You could add editor choice via the preferences then use an intent to bring up the editor.
perfect
Looks good, needs work.
This is real great.
So good
I understand some features are missing but so far this has been working for me. Just made a 3D printer and started using openscad on my computer, this is perfect app to work on my files and new ideas away from home. On my tablet (acer iconia a500) it works well, issue is no scroll bar in editor and text gets chopped off on the sides but I still have screen space to use. But I know the complexity of developing an android app and dealing with all the different screen sizes so I don't think it's a deal breaker at all. Love the app and very great full this has been developed. Glad I found it. Oh and you definitely want a better keyboard than the stock android one to get to the keys easily.
I have a terrible mobile keyboard, so all I can do is do mock-ups while it's in my head. You won't get an app better than this!
Just great!
Did not render the scad design in view mode. Editor doesn't have the module collapse... In short doesn't work except for very very simple designs
But to use include etc you need to use "space " between include and tags.
Each update more impressive than the last..
This is real great.
Thank you getting this started and your continuing efforts.
Great Work!!!
Once you get past a few lines copy and paste get problematic, keyboard covers editing area. I've resorted to editing elsewhere and pasting to Scorch. Otherwise very good- can't wait for the improvements. How do I pay?
So good
I have reassessed the review to give it 5 stars. Truly good.
Each update more impressive than the last.
So good
...thank you

User interface is clunky at best... highly non-intuitive, especially the editor (ugh, bleah, yuck). Doesn't have openscad features introduced over a year ago (i.e. offset).
