Today’s Fire Danger is a free, GPS-enabled prototype app which allows users to stay informed of the fire danger in their current location, in real-time.
The app is currently only available as a prototype, as Scion is seeking feedback on the app and the information contained within it, relating to what activities can or can’t be done at different levels of fire danger. It’s important to ensure that these messages are consistent with existing communications undertaken by Rural Fire Authorities.
Feedback is therefore welcomed on this app.

A great alternative to the rural Fire Hazard indicator boards you see when you are driving around. And with the search facility you can check the Fire status before you go on holiday.

Unfortunately, despite two downloads and fresh installations, it produces no data, no weather stations appear to be loading, it can load my location and gps coordinates but the fire risk level just days unkown. When it works it will be great.
