Fukcing piece of shite app. Too many bugs and issues to describe here. Absolutely disgraceful. Is a disservice to the S/D brand name and reputation. Even if you report bugs to S/D they NEVER reply. Don't waste your time downloading this app.

Love the website, so I wanted to love the app too, but it's just not there. It's very slow to load articles, and is very prone to just becoming non-responsive. If I didn't like the articles so much, I would already have uninstalled it.

It's a great idea and content with a not-so-great app and UI. Plus I absolutely HATE it running itself in the background of my cell using up memory. It eats up MB even if you don't open the app for months, which was the final blow to me uninstalling.

Just gives link to install latest version, even after doing so. App will not open...Just that stupid link.

The app crashed 3 times this A. M. If I did not enjoy reading archaeology articles so much I would uninstall it. Please fix.

Despite "updates", issues remain the same. Articles deploy very slowly, if at all. Aren't there any engineers working at Science Daily? So Frustrating! Next step is uninstall.

The data feed has been corrupt for some time some categories haven't updated since mid may. Some show the wrong things. This app is getting worse not better.

The ScienceDaily app is the best way to keep abreast of science news. This app used to be buggy but not any more

While the content is absolutely first class, the app is worst in its class, or more likely not even remotely attached to the train at all. I have avidly tried to use this app, as well as its previous versions on the newest Samsung Note series for years. I have a dim memory that it actually worked a few times in the remote past. Maybe that has kept me hopelessly trying, again and again: Endlessly watching it go around and around.....and around.......and around..... It is such a good concept...I'll give it one star for that. Sad that, for whatever reason, it is absolutely not at all functional. Four more stars await anyone who can fix it!

The app is good. I use it almost everyday. But there are some issues that need fixed. First, the articles that resulted from search can't be bookmarked. Second, after reading the articles that resulted from the search, I can't go back to the recent search result to choose another article there. Always I have to go to the search box and insert the keywords again in order to get the articles that match my interest. But this can be annoying, because the search results won't necessarily be the same.

A great app with detailed current science stories written in a news format, and has links to the original source papers or press releases allowing easy follow up for further reading. There is some criticism that the app is slow, and it is a little, but its a small price to pay for a free app, that condenses research resources from 100's of major journals and universities, to do this daily myself would occupy most of my day, and cost me 1000's in subscriptions to journals.

If they can fix the speed, it would be a great app. Five minutes to open just doesn't cut it! And then to go from article to article still takes time. My Samsung tablet is ultra fast otherwise, so the problem lies with the developer, who is clearly either lazy or has lost interest, since there have been no updates to deal with this problem.

I love this app!.. first came across science daily online..then installed app,...I am hooked, allows me to stay current with the latest ALS research...praying for a CURE

Not sure what others are complaining about. Both the content and layout are great. Possibly an old version and / or device specific issue.

Title really says it all. Better to just google the .pdf's and such.
