Schwab Mobile for Android
Crashes on open quite frequently. Unnecessary splash screen. Seems like fingerprint login is disabled every time you tap the wrong spot or enter your password. Why can't it be as simple as every other banking app with fingerprint login? Why have a password field if fingerprint login is enabled? Why show the stupid toggle -- who wants to disable fingerprint login from the sign-in screen? What's the point of the six digit code and why do I need to keep setting it? This is bad UX that doesn't make any sense. I encourage the designer to try using the app, because it seems like they don't.
I'm sure there are some great features to this app but one of the main reasons I wanted an account with Schwab was for the mobile and online services like mobile deposit. I tried to deposit a check and it would not take focused pictures in the app and there is no way to upload pictures taken with a other camera app that actually functions. This is a huge flaw for someone like me that really depends on these kind's of features in order to do my banking. I used Chase mobile deposit and never had this problem, same phone, same camera. Please give me better mobile options!
Great app for a great bank. Interface is easy to use and has great features like deposits by phone, transfers between your accounts and great reporting all from you phone. I highly recommend first the bank if you aren't using them and definitely the app if you are using the bank. Remote deposit makes going into a branch almost completely unnecessary and refunding you all ATM charges from all ATMs is perfect when you don't have a branch in site for your local bank.
I like the updated UI and controls. You can do pretty much everything you need to do to maintain your portfolio. However, a few glaring gaps; 1) quotes do not show accounts/positions where you have the quoted stock, and 2) news, very poor news curation and http integration. 3) graphs aren't very interactive.
Hi, this app needs improvement. 1. I just received an ebill notification. Schwab emailed me. however app does not show ebill for same biller. 2. when ebills are filed, the "notes" field remain unavailable on the app. this is important. thanks. 3. can use colored indicators? red for expenses, and green for incoming money?
I like Schwab. The mobile app has been improved. However, the options function is difficult to use compared to TD, but Schwab does send email trade notices and TD does not even though it is set to do that.
Both my wife and I have tried to use the electronic check deposit feature and, despite our phones being able to autofocus in the default camera app, they cannot do so in the Schwab app. This means that no photo we take to deposit checks digitally is acceptable. That makes the mobile app for Schwab unacceptable, because this is a key feature that we would use frequently, if it worked at all.
Convenient, easy setup. Lots of good use for this app. Only reason it didn't get 5 stars was because of the lack of maneuverability when shopping for funds. You have to know the fund's ticker and manually compare funds.
Great app, I mostly use it for trading stocks and depositing checks. My only gripe is that the app tends to crash when I switch to another app for a few minutes and then return.
I like having my investments and deposits all together and being able to trade. I don't like the mobile check deposits inability to focus on the checks by touching the screen while trying to take the picture. Chase app allows me to touch the screen to focus the camera. I have to try repeatedly for it to take a good pic and usually give up. Also, please start supporting instant transfer by Zelle.
I redid the rating because I'M TIRED OF RE-AUTHENTICATING MY FINGERPRINT EVERY OTHER TIME I LOG IN! Once a month or even once every three months should be plenty. Every other time is BEYOND Overkill.
Certain features are unavailable throughout the day on a regular basis. Tile view is the only way I can find to access existing orders, and is down at the moment. Very frustrating.
I only use the app on my cell phone so I might not have all functions. However, I love using it for photo check deposits and transferring funds.
Awesome app. It's perfect for mobile banking. It doesn't have all the features of a desktop version, but it caters to all of my needs. Sometimes it crashes but very minimal.
The most useful app on my phone. I've been asking for dividend yield for a while with no results, but other improvements are appreciated.
No matter how many times I try to enable the fingetprint feature, the next time I log in after clearing my running apps, i am tild that i muat log in again.
My favorite part is all the numbers. My least favorite part is when the numbers are all zero
Really horrible for trading. Ask and bid pricing are rounded up. Just to update my review after Android 8.0-Still Horrible. App cannot decide if it can remember my credentials or how I want to sign in.
ONE bad fingerprint read from the scanner, and it disables fingerprint login entirely. Anyone with an equipped phone knows these scanners just occasionally misfire for no particular reason. Disabling after just one single misread is epically stupid.
Love this app. It's beautiful looking and it funcions well. Don't know what it's rated 3.9/5. This app is a lot better compared to other banking apps; especially Ally. 5/5.
This app is so simple and easy to use. Depositing checks is a breeze and checking your accounts is simple. This bank is the best I've used and they constantly make me glad I chose them.
I have enjoyed this game for several months. But be aware of tournaments!!!!! I payed the eqevalant in coins of $50 to play in weekly tournament. Their system said that no opponents try later. By the time they located an opponent for me and I completed my round, it was too look late.
Overall decent but it is annoying when the saved fingerprint login gets reset due to connection problems. Buggy option chain browsing
Login then shows terms page that I cannot move or click ... Just stuck there. App does not work. Apparently very buggy.
I can't use the app! I log in and get an agreement page with no accept button. I scroll up and it stops in the middle of the page. Don't know what to do? ??
The terms and conditions screen didn't let me scroll down to accept them ?!? (AT&T Samsung Galaxy S4 mini)
Mobile banking saves massive amounts of time. A good design and almost don't need to visit the main website anymore. I opened an account while watching a performance at the Arena. Very cool.
I'm very happy I switched to Schwab. The app itself is very easy to use, not to mention quick and reliable. Their customer support is excellent.
Needs quite a few changes. If you'd combine the Etrade app with the Scottrade app, you'd have a 5.
Excellent mobile banking app for most simple things. Checking works great, depositing checks via photo isn't an issue
Good app once you're in, but crashes on startup for me the first time, have to open it twice every time.
Doesn't have option to search for or research mutual funds. Ok for checking your balance or buying something you already own or have ticker for, but not much more.
Slow and deposit is broken. Very annoying - how do I deposit now?
I use it primarily for billpay, checking balances and depositing checks. They're works great for that. I haven't tried to use much other functionality
Finally got fingerprint login. Still hope it will get a customizable alerts on checking account, but generally, the app is slowly improving, features and stability wise.
It's fast it works well could be better would like to see a play win loose on stocks your tracking and easier delete of stocks your watching
Was good but now it is not working.
I just discovered that I can't transfer money from IRA accounts. Is there a valid reason for this, or is it functionality not yet implemented?
Awesome app, easy to use and CS helps on any and all issues I've ever had.

Great app, plenty of features that all work well. That's surprisingly rare among many leading apps in this category. Robinhood is well-designed and works well, but has few features. Competing Fidelity and Vanguard apps are lagging behind at this time. I highly recommend you look into opening a Roth IRA! Charles Schwab has fantastic mutual fund options to choose from with very low fees!
