School Enews for Android
It good and great
Have not tried many of the functions but after doing the update things are much snappier. Interface looks better too. It's been a long overdue update for android users, please keep the progress coming for android (not so long between updates though)
Push alerts work very nicely and app provides easy access for parents to newsletters, notes and calendar. The other 1 and 2 star reviews are out of date.
Have to download a pdf each time. Needs to have searchable content shown as updates not entire newsletters.
I like it. I love it! So convenient and easy to access all my school info.
Works very well. Great system. Thanks.
Waste does not show my school
Is there a way to unsubscribe from mailing lists as i still get the emails. Also why does the app need identity and access to media?
A nice simple and easy app to be able to have my sons school newsletters at my fingertips as most children don't give you the newsletter in their bag straight away.
Yo yo
Has completely stopped working on my phone.
Atmost best for all students ,tks a lot for your best efforts.
it's a very usefull app
Nice
My app randomly notifies or doesn't notify me of new newsletters (meaning I'm often behind in newsletters as the notifications aren't coming through). Also it's annoying having to fight with default settings and choosing an app to open pdfs in - iphone version opens them within the app, why can't the android app?
I cant open anything on my Samsung s7. I use to be able to on my HTC. Please help
The usability of this app is pretty bad. As another old review mention, the buttons do unexpected operations, the back button closes the app for some reason, it's impossible to read and follow old notification. Such lack of attention makes me wonder if developers are really using the app or even listening our feedback. The dark blue theme doesn't help the reading either.
Its ok just cant find the note i was looking for.
Very bad app in Android.
Not opening
Great
If not because of school i wouldn't download this
Worst
w00
Goes to any school for example Rosehill Public School and it shows all the events whens holiday thing like that
awesome
I like this app and would give it 5 stars but I accidentally added a school and now can't get rid of it. I have even uninstalled the app and reinstalled it, but I still get notifications from the other school. Please help!
Need to have the option to only display notes for your selected year groups, not all years. Need to be able to delete and/or mark as "actioned" after you have read, paid, printed or whatever and have the option to keep the notes that you need to refer to at a later date. Need to be able to create a diary reminder in your calendar based on the note data I.e. due date or event date. Need the option of being able to forward the note to others via SMS or email or forward it to yourself so that you can print it.
Has completely stopped working on my phone.
How do I change this so it can notify me over the 3g/4g network
Very handy
Moderately ok except it's totally painful to switch between different schools as there is no native easy way to do it. You have to pretend you are entering a new school all over again. Make it multi school aware please
Awsome
Ausome
Push notifications are good. Using the app itself is a bit of a pain as it doesn't appear to be designed for Android. The most annoying thing is the Back button takes you out of the app and not to the previous screen.
Needs PDF files formatted to fit phone screen, otherwise it's awkward and clunky to navigate, plus the PDF newsletters take forever to load properly....has great potential though!
Keeps me up to date on school newsletters.
The school enews service is great but the Android version of the app doesn't seem to flag that a new notice has been added to the school(s) the user is subscribed to. A widget summarising the latest school enews communications would be a major improvement.
I like this app its easier than logging into the school or checking bags for random notes

The update is an improvement, but it is very difficult to print pdfs as the school still wants hard copies returned. Having an option to send the document by email for printing would be a helpful addition.
